Paige's pov

I hop out of the car and literally run to the gate. There is a long line and I suddenly get pissed. Mason comes up behind me laughing. "In a rush?" He whispers in my ear. His mouth was so close to my ear it sent shivers down my spine.

"What's with this stupid line? All the time wasted in this line, I could be having fun. Why are this many people out anyway. There are a million of other things to do besides come here. They know I want to have fun and they are doing it on purpose. They are a bunch of-"

Mason cut me off by pressing his lips gently against mine. I mean if he wanted me to be quiet he could have just asked, but on the other hand, I am quite enjoying this.

I wrap my arms around his neck and he puts his hands on my waist to pull me closer. I will never get over the feel of his lips on mine. They are so soft and he is always so gentle. I feel his tongue brush across my bottom lip and just as I am about to get ready to let him deepen the kiss we are getting scolding again by the same old lady.

"How many times do I have to tell you kids that this is a family place? If you want to screw each other's brains out I suggest you do it somewhere where my grandkids can't see you. Back in my day, we knew how to keep our dang clothes on." She glared at us before walking away.

I'm pretty sure Mason's face mirrored mine. My jaw was almost to the ground and my eyebrows were in my hairline. I can't believe that old lady just scolded us. AGAIN.

Mason started laughing and I couldn't help but join in. That old lady was just so precious. Why couldn't my grandma be like that. I would adore her.

Mason pulled me closer and bent down to kiss me but I pulled back. "I don't want grandma over there to yell again. Something tells me next time she will curse us out." Mason laughs and pulls me to the front of the line.

"Mason," I hiss. "We can't cut the line. People will get pissed."

"So. Half of these people are wolves and they know to respect me. And the other half can kiss my ass."

Mason quickly paid and I notice some of the people bowed their heads as a sign of respect for him. I could get used to being with him. No lines? Heck yeah!

I pull Mason into the fair and I couldn't contain the squeal. I was going to have so much fun. "Let's get on some rides!"

Poor Mason. I'm dragging him along like my own personal doll, but the huge grin on his face tells me that he doesn't mind.

After several rides my stomach growls. Mason laughs and this time he pulls me over to some food. "I LOVE fair food. It's always so weird but always so dang good. I want some of everything."

Mason just kissed me while we were waiting in another line. This time i didn't mind waiting because my mouth was being occupied. He placed his hands on my waist to pull me closer. I love the feeling of his hands on my waist. It's such a turn on.

Both of us a little breathless, I pull back. "Mason, I may love you but I'm pretty sure I love food more." As soon as the words left my mouth I instantly wanted to take them back. Not because I didn't mean it, but because I didn't want to scare him away by moving too fast.

I heard his sharp intake of breath and I wanted to slap myself. I got so caught up in the moment I forgot to think before I speak. Mason opened his mouth to reply but was cut off by the guy asking what we wanted.

We ended up ordering hot dogs, sausage on sticks, chicken on sticks, funnel cakes, fried pickles, and cotton candy. I was in heaven!!

We sat down and ate in silence. It was kind of awkward because of my little slip up, but at least we can blame the silence on us eating.
