I'm back after forever! I'm so sorry guys!

Enjoy!

I stated at the body in front of me, tears rolling down my cheeks as I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"(Y/n)?" Jeremiah whispered.

"H-he's-" I started, breaking into sobs and pulling him into a tight hug. "He's gone."

"Shhh, I know, it'll be alright" he said.

He slowly broke the hug, walking me away from Jerome's body.

"(Y/n)" Jim said, pulling me in for a hug. "I'm sorry, I tried I-"

"I-it's alright Jim" I smiled weakly, breaking the hug.

"I-I just need some time" I said and they nodded. "I'll see you back home."

"But it's at least 10 blocks away" Jim replied.

"I need some air, I'll be fine" I said, flashing a small smile before heading home.

...

It's been a few days and I haven't talked to anyone, occasionally Jim but even then I've been distant with him. I just don't want to talk to people.

I feel bad for not communicating with Jeremiah but I'm sure he understands.

I was bought out of my thoughts by my phone ringing. I looked at the contact and sighed, answering.

"Hey Bruce, look I don't want to be rude but I really don't feel like talking" I sighed.

"Ouch, your gonna break the poor boys heart" I froze at the familiar voice.

"Jerome?" I asked hopefully.

"Ehhh, try again" my eyes widened as I felt my breath quickening.

"J-Jeremiah?" I asked, my voice cracking.

"Ding ding ding"

"W-what happened?" I asked.

"Why don't you come visit and I'll tell you" he replied.

"What did you do to Bruce?" I asked sternly.

"Awww you worried about lover boy?" He asked amused.

"I mean it Jeremiah, put him on the phone" I said.

"I'm fine (Y/n)" Bruce answered and I sighed in relief.

"Where are you?" I asked.

"The cemetery, better hurry~" and with that Jeremiah hung up the phone.

Oh god, what happened.
