I sat in the car, tapping my fingers against my jeans while nervously scanning my surroundings.
"I promise I won't let him hurt you (Y/n)" Jim said seriously, looking at me through the rear view mirror.

As soon as we got to Wayne Manor I jumped out of the car, Jim and Lucius following close behind.
We got to the door, Alfred waiting for our arrival.
"Master Bruce, we have guests" Alfred said, the three of us following the butler into the kitchen.
The sight before me made my heart pang with jealousy. Bruce and Selina were sitting together while eating cake.

"Did you see what just happened? That man's a raving bloody lunatic. He can't be trusted" Alfred said.
"For once I agree with Alfred" Selina commented.
"Bruce, listen to me. With your help we can prevent more deaths" Jim said.
