"I didn't know you were coming as well

"I didn't know you were coming as well." He states nonchalantly turning to the seat where I think Shane will have to sit down to get that tattoo done.

"I wasn't supposed to. Uh..."

I don't know what to answer to that. It's almost as if he didn't want to see me again.

But if that's so... why did he try to kiss me just last night? I shake my head to shove those thoughts away, that's not something I want my mind to get into. Especially not after my encounter with John.

I had my share for the day.

I know he's expecting an answer, but I just don't have the energy today, so I go sit down by the couches and go through their workbooks. I sit in silence and let them do their own thing as if I just wasn't there. I don't want to bother anyway.

"She had a hard day, just leave her be." I hear Shane tell Luca when he sits down, he understands me even before I do.

After long three hours, they finally move from the seat so I stand up to go and take a peek at the tattoo. He's done only a small part of what looks like it's going to be a full arm tattoo. He never had tattoos until his twentieth birthday and now every time I see him, he's getting more and more.

I never thought how well it suits him, but I'm biased because I've always loved tattoos.

"Great work, I am surprised you're that good," I say while inspecting the tattoo.

"Right, why have a fucking parlour if I'm not good at my job, then?"

I snort without meaning to; I'm just in a sarcastic mood.

"Mel's cousin is a Tattoo Artist as well. You might know him..." Shane says.

My cousin was actually the one who made me my first tattoo when I was 16. But not many people know about my tattoo interest. I have a few but they're not all big or at visible places.

"Arthur Rodriguez." I simply state.

"I know him alright, he taught me what I know."

"That's probably why you're alright at it." I tease him. "He's the only one who's ever tattooed on this skin," I smirk, pointing at my body.

"Well, we can change that darling. While I'm at it I can also show you how good I am at something when I give myself to it." I don't know why but what he said felt like a double-entendre to me.

However, I shrug it off of my mind. However, a new tattoo? Not a bad idea at all. Even though it's not Arthur doing it if he learned from him, he's probably good at it. Right?

"Do you have even time? I mean you're tattooing outside your work hours."

"This is not working. Shane's tattoo is a present and now so will yours, if you want it." He smiles at me, kind of a warm smile even.
