Sometimes my world is only as big as the cube of my room, with just the glowing screen of my phone and the softly moving form of my cat. Then it expands and grows and all of that falls into my stories. Captured in time forever, like a flower pressed into the page of your favorite book. The smell still in the air but not quite the same.
