Hey everyone! Like a lot of my fellow writers here I've been trying to get published forever. (Forever-ever? Feels that way!) When I've heard from those potential publishers generous enough to give me feedback it's always a version of the same thing: We like what you've done, we just don't know who the market is. Well, I'm hoping here on Wattpad some of you might be able to help me figure out exactly that.

I love a good story! Anything by the Queen, Jane Austen, the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, Cinnamon and Gunpowder by Eli Brown, Auntie Mame by Patrick Dennis, The Princess Bride by William Goldman, A Prayer For Owen Meany by John Irving, and Maeve Binchy, well what can I say? But since it's impossible to compare myself with these amazing authors, I suppose I'll just say I write the type of story i'd love to see on screen. Quirky romantic comedies like the Philadelphia Story, The Apartment and You've Got Mail. I.A.L. Diamond and Nora Ephron are just IT for me and probably my biggest influences, if I don't mention Austen again.

So I'm planning to publish a few chapters of my work here to see how it goes. If any of you are generous enough to read and comment, please be gentle, it is my first time :)
