The third and last book of the Time of the Titans saga. The protagonist and his companions travel towards the Sacred City of Sangriala along the Way of Spirits. They face adventures with a gang of pirates, a mahi occupation, and a village of the Black Spirits, before they finally reach Sangriala. That is where the endgames of the saga await them, along with tragedies of a civil war and power games between the Dark Duke, the Hierophant, and the Resistance. The situation looks tough for the heroes, as they face several superior adversaries at the same time. But it seems they also have a hidden protector in the city. Not everything is what it seems, and various characters appear to have their own agendas behind everything that has happened. Through the dramatic fates of Sangriala, scary events roll on towards an inevitable 'final boss scene'.

The Crystalline Era is over. The knowledge of its civilization? Well, most was washed away by a catastrophic event that came to be known simply as The Dawn. The extinction of an old era, and the ushering of a new one. The planet of Essiah has had its fair share of global catastrophies, mind you. But The Dawn...by far the largest, most monumental. This change of winds brought with it a backstep in the advancement of human civilization...a regression, if you will. The time? 1073 PCE. The place? The upper district of Central Handil. We start with a dream. A boy of only 17, Termus, and his mysterious, horrifying dream. A recurring dream that will lead to him and his friends getting swept away by this destructive, chaotic world that has developed since that great age. What kind of secrets lie yet to be discovered just under the surface of Essiah? Termus will find out just what some people are willing to do to get their hands on such lost knowledge. * Hope you guys enjoy!

On Cybertron, the civil war is over. At least, that is what the new council preaches. Steel, a rookie first responder, is among many being trained to be the city of Iacon's so called "extra safety measure". Steel, a bot who's just been thrown into a mystery he thought to be a myth, doesn't believe for a second that the war is over. Sometimes, he wonders if it'll ever be over. ~~~~ This draft, for the most part, was done solo and over the course of three years. It was (in the Deutsch drafts) originally done from the perspective of one of the three pacifists, but after falling in love with writing the OC Steel, am completely rewriting a lot of it. The level of care I put into grammar and structure degrades over time. If it's choppy, I'm sorry, I tried to fix it as much as possible and will keep fixing it until it's perfectly imperfect, especially since this alternate universe is so messed up not even a metaphorical chiropractor could help it out. I've categorized this as general fiction, so I want to say that this is in fact based off of Transformers (specifically a post TFP alternate universe) so you don't get confused when new terminology gets thrown at you without a glossary to use. Updates are typically once a month or two... but it might be more like four with how bad I am at staying motivated. Update: my motivation is nonexistent. It's been well over a year since even touching this. You have been warned. Enjoy.

Elspeth and Nicole are the complete opposites of each other. So when they are paired together for the fall term by their university-renowned English professor, Dr. Quill, they are none too pleased. Elspeth, who is an introverted, junior-level student majoring in English literature with a minor in creative writing. She is more interested in high fantasy classics than modern young adult literature, and longs to have someone she can talk to about it. Nicole is a popular, extroverted sorority girl majoring in English Education, and does not see the point of escapism. The two books they are assigned to read are "The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien and "The Edge Chronicles: Beyond the Deepwoods" by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell. After sitting down with Elspeth's study group for tea at the library, Nicole begins to read the opening paragraph out loud, as Elspeth closes her eyes to test the concreteness of the writing. The descriptions open a portal into the Deepwoods mixed with Middle-Earth concepts, where they will meet twig, and face off with dangerous monsters.

This is one chapter from my novel, Inferior, an epic monomyth set in a dystopian future. In this future, genetically engineered humans, Superiors, rule over Inferiors (non-genetically engineered human beings). Faced with possible extinction, the Council Superior (the six oldest Superiors who act as a governing body) develops a plan involving the Inferior (or maybe not so Inferior) youth named Chaos. This chapter falls at about the first quarter mark in the book and gives the audience the best glimpse into the overall plot of the larger text.

For a school project last year, I started to rewrite my Aelius story. I haven't written much on it since then, but I've also had very little time where alone and will to do work happened at the same time. In other words, I've had time to write, but because of schoolwork and school in general, I've never had the will to write. I'm getting a bit back into it, though, (I'll try to) and I'll share a bit of what I've written in the past couple years. This story is going to (given that I finish it) be fully fleshed(?) out. My prior story was only supposed to be ~2 pages in length (oops, I made it 12.) meaning that I had to summarize all the ideas in my head. Now, though, I get to flesh(?) flush(?) everything out!

A story about immortality is inevitably a story about mortality. A million years after the devastation of Earth as we knew it, mankind is given an unlikely new chance, by a space-drifting alien race of the titans. Except that they aren't actually alien. Mikael Corvin is a graduate student in a university town in Central Europe. Through his girlfriend Helena, he gets involved with the work of an enigmatic Institute, led by the futurist and philanthropist Xavier Landorf. However, before Mikael can experience his newly found happiness, he dies in a bicycle accident. Yet he, too, is given a new chance. A new life, a mission, a floating paradise, and a distant dream of an island. But this is where things start taking a very different course. When Mikael finally finds his island, he also finds out that the world is not what he had previously thought of it, and the strange youngsters on the island are not who they first seemed. Eventually, Mikael might even find himself, but to reach that end, he needs an entire journey, which always seems to be only in the beginning when a new turn again derails him.

It all started out with a note, a simple piece of paper capable of ripping away at the false comfort that everyone so blindingly cherishes, and like a knife piercing through skin, drew blood from my heart, as it shriveled up like a dying plant saying its last wish. Please let it all be a dream.

Originally published in paperback in 2013, now available on Wattpad for free! I've grown a lot as a writer since I first wrote this novel. (It has 2 sequels, and I've since written a 3-part Hawaii action memoir.) But I felt the intuitive nudge to share it to the world for free. I worked on it for over 4 years, about 2008-2012, and I hope you enjoy it. On the 12th anniversary of his mother's disappearance, Zahn hikes to the island summit, only to be awoken by a brilliant object thundering down from the sky, impacting into the beach far below. In a frenzy, he sprints down the mountain, coming across a large crater in the silvery sand. He reaches in, pulling out a triangular plate made of a strange material, moonlight sliding off of it at strange angles. Conflicted over what to do, Zahn hides the fragment in his room for days, knowing that if he brings it to the observatory, they'll confiscate it, and then he might never learn the truth. Then, in the middle of the night, Zahn is awoken by a tapping at his window. He opens it, and to his shock, it's a man wearing a silvery uniform. There's more to what Zahn found on the beach than he could have ever imagined, and he's swept up into a galactic adventure with a cryptic captain and a living starship. Along the way, he encounters the Vakragha, a species bent on consuming entire stars. And to Zahn's horror, he learns that they're heading toward his homeworld. Only the Tulari, a stone that can heal the wounds they cut into space, offers any hope. But saving his world isn't all he has to worry about. Just when Zahn lands on a moon stolen by the Vakragha, he makes a breakthrough, finally learning his mother's true fate. Now he is faced with a heartbreaking decision that could either save his world or doom it forever. Action-packed, with a scope as ambitious as Star Wars, THE TRUTH BEYOND THE SKY will leave you energized and hungry for more.

In my mind, I always write better fiction content while listening to a playlist that I have based on the themes of the story or on the personalities of my characters. And if I'm reading another person's piece of fiction, I love finding songs that match the vibes of the story to make the writing more concrete-which increases my levels of focus and engagement. I created this playlist to listen to while writing the drafts of my first full-length fantasy novella Of Glens and Ghosts, as well as for any reader who comes across my page that shares this common interest with me. This novella is based on a 36-page fanfiction I had written two years ago for a class, that I have posted on this Wattpad account along with a book of original poems. Now that I've been over the hurdle of writing 36 pages of fanfiction as an undergrad, I wanted to try my luck with the original characters I used and get a more original story written down. As the spring semester at my university's English Education program winds down and summer begins, I will try to commit to writing more content for the novella now that I will have more free time and new inspirations for my characters, due to the new experiences I have gained over the last year. Of Glens and Ghosts is Elspeth's story, and this playlist is the unofficial trailer (and spoiler) for certain themes, concepts, and ideas I have played around with in my writing drafts before coming up with the idea to make a playlist. This playlist will also be updated whenever I find a song that matches the concepts in my book. Have fun interpreting the poetry of these artists to figure out the common themes of my story-and look forward to reading the first few chapters for Of Glens and Ghosts soon!
