Love writing but find it hard to finish projects? Looking for a new approach to telling stories? Embracing serialisation can help you be more productive and get more readers.

In this guide I share what I've learned while writing A Day of Faces, my serial which hit #7 in the science fiction chart here on Wattpad, won a 2016 Watty Award and has had over 146,000 reads.

My current Wattpad serial is The Mechanical Crown - come join the adventure!

"Trunk novels"? But still valuable from the practice point of view?

Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It was printed in a magazine and if you think about it, it's just a collection of short stories.

Your mountain metaphor reminds me of a similar old saying: How do you eat an elephant? Answer: The same way you eat a chicken, one bite at a time.

I have to say the best part of this is that whatever you write and people react to can change how you go about your story... I have gotten so many ideas from my readers. This is also true of great writers who used this method. Like Dickens. Thanks for sharing this all. I am loving your take on it.
