I sat on a pile of stones, drenched in the blood of countless souls.. however, they were not countless, for i knew their exact number. My eyes were tired, my body ached after this long journey.
"Ah.. So you did come back" A distant voice asked, echoing against the dry dusty walls of this collapsing cave. My eyes were very heavy, looking around aimlessly, my voice was shaky as i replied "I have witnessed endless dreams shattering as if they were nothing at all, my journey as an observer no longer makes sense... Observing, lurking inside the bodies of those whom were influenced..." I smiled pointlessly, feeling my face falling apart "I no longer have faith.. I'm a mere tool, simply used and tossed away..." I continued, answered by nothing but the empty darkness...

A bright light blinded me, heat began to surround me and warmth found a way to sooth my broken heart. A being made of light stood before me, its entire body shined, a star that burned brightly. I couldn't see clearly, but i heard the voice again "Then shall we take this journey once again? Walker of the dark path, come towards the light, and see everything you've observed being influenced" The voice disappeared, and so did the light, leaving behind a metallic object hitting the floor in front of me. I reached for it, cold metal covered book that had markings and writings glowing with dimmed light that read "In The Eye of My Mind".
