It is 2012 A.D., and the world is ruled by vampires. Humans are slaves, playthings that the vampire masters are free to do anything with. Celestia is one of these slaves. She is owned by a brutal vampire named Damien, one of the council members. After standing up to him in order to save a fellow slave, she decides that she'd rather risk escape than face her cruel master's wrath. But what awaits her in a world where humans can only be slaves? Will she ever find a safe place? Or other humans that are free? Alazne is a thief and a liar. She leads a group of bandits that take advantage of the vampires' underestimation of humans to rob them. Pretending to be a helpless slave, she gets into their houses and takes anything of value. One day she finds a ticket to get into one of the richest vampire's house, Damien Latrove, a councilman. She doesn't need to question why the escaped slave looks exactly like her, she just thanks fate for all of the money that she'll make off those worthless leeches. Robbing vampires is Alazne's own brand of justice against the fiends that have enslaved her people, but maybe not all vampires are bad? Dante seems okay, but can Alazne set aside her lifelong hatred to see the good in him? Or maybe her new 'master' will kill her before she discovers anything. As these two girls move through eachother's lives they learn that things are not always what they seem, including themselves. This is my first full length story, so I'd love to have some feedback. It doesn't have to be nice, I just want to know what you think and if there's anything I could improve on.
