David barths ✍️ Based on the Victorian Era Adelaide who was born into a lower class family got her dreams of becoming a warrior stripped from her because of the laws of the land Women were viewed as only supposed to be housewifes and mothers to their children , they were seen as people who should only concern themselves with keeping a successful household Adelaide as a Lower class citizen was sent to a ministers home as a servant to the wife of the household, she and Tom the first son of minister Erin became friends and they learnt martial arts together far away in the forest They fell in love and got married even with so many obstacles that wanted them to fall off Adelaide trying to pursue her dream as a warrior and not a house wife made people see her as a Bad citizen and her husband Tom was perceived as not being manly, In the Victorian Era, victorians praised the idea of a "Self Made Man" who can control the affairs and activities in his household and with that achieve respectability A man ability to control his household was an essential part of the Victorian masculinity Adelaide and Tom was perceived as two bad eggs Tom was stripped of nobility while Adelaide embarked on a journey looking for women of the same goal The women fought for equality and over time made strides in attaining rights and privileges, however before many women endured their husbands control and even cruelty, including sexual Viol*nce, verbal abus*,and economic or sexual deprivation, with no way out During this time women had working position outside the household Adelaide was seen as a true warrior and saviour, she became the captain of the female victorian soilders and the head of the women right group ....,.......
