After the lucrative and popular boom period of 1960's Professional Wrestling had progressively started its steady decline as the business entered the turn of a new decade, transitioning into the 1970's would bring its own array of challenges, complications, clashing egos and political backstage problems. 8 years have passed and now the Industry of Professional Wrestling in 1978 is struggling to survive, fighting tooth and nail to remain relevant amongst a dwindling audience of fickle and extremely vocal fans. A growing audience of revolting wrestling fans, tired of the same old stars, regurgitated formula and a mostly uninspired, predictable, by-the-numbers, black-and-white presentation, long since frustrated with cheering and booing the same lineup of old veteran stars. A bold, brash change in direction is desperately needed, but will the landscape of the various American Wrestling Promoters finally listen to fans? The same fans urging the respective companies to formulate bold new ideas and book young stars in fresh innovative rivalries and storylines. Will the old guard of veteran wrestling stars sabotage the winds of change and destroy any notion of a new era before it even starts?! Will the new upstart and unorthodox visionary promotion, Wrestling Warfare Federation become viable competition? This is the story of rookies and veterans, fans and promoters, referee's and bookers, backstage politics, championship titles and blurring the lines of reality. Will the ego of legends abuse their power or will the love and passion of a talented group of upstart rookies put aside the mutual real animosity for one another and finally put the business first? As a host of Promotions across the territories start to fold and shudder under the pressure, as they each begin to make grave errors or foolish and fatal mistakes they cannot recuperate from and systematically fall by the wayside. The crucial and stagnating state of the industry could very well be at stake!!!
