When Sage was little, their parents always warned them of the danger in the woods. Their mother would tell them stories of mythical beasts and beautiful flowers that flourished, which piqued their interest as a child. Even though they always felt connected to that vast forest behind their house, they never acted on their desires, scared to anger their parents. Now that Sage is out of high school, they rarely have anything to do outside of their 9-to-5 job, but the forest always called out to them.
