Someone is trying to frame Amara, Ryan, and popular mean girl Eden, for a crime they haven't committed. High school senior Amara-made popular by the social media empire she created-finds a disturbing note accidentally slipped into her locker, with plans to bring down a nameless popular girl that she fears could be her. Amara is convinced that cute it-jock, Holland, knows more about the multiplying notes than he lets on, but decides to work with him to solve the riddle of who the target is. Following clues from the notes is more fun than either imagined, bringing them closer to each other and discovering the victim of this heinous game. But before they can warn the her, she is found murdered and all evidence points to Amara and Holland. Tensions rise as their worlds fall apart and they realize how alone they really are when friends and followers turn their backs. Leaning on each other, Amara and Holland work to prove they were framed, by any number of jealous or ambitious peers. If they can't, it's goodbye to dreams of life after high school and hello inmate orange.
