A heridero hillbilly from GenSan turns up in Manila to chase his dreams of hiphop and rap music after getting turned down by his childhood friend. Runaway, heartbroken and flat broke, he lives with his best friend, a filthy rich genius choreographer who helps him land a job to help out in a pub called Nichtromancer, having the Boss as his friend. The thing was, Club Nitro and the crew that worked there seemed to deviate from the ordinary, but he wasn't either. And he keeps getting mixed up with "them" and what they actually do. A carabao-tough bartender lady, a walking air-conditioning unit who waits tables, the boss who seemed too at ease with everything, and the boss's peculiar sister who carries her gear round wherever she goes. Not to mention those who come and go over the place just to pick fights. With words. All that and weird naming sense. "Its like a big hiphop playground, but down there we kill each other, figuratively, of course." Does he wanna play?
