Wow, I wonder why he's angry. Maybe he's jealous of the child because his partner almost died giving birth to her? Maybe it's not his child, or he thinks it isn't his even though it is? Hmmm...

Oh my gosh, I think I might've just made a connection — near-death experience, ends in pregnancy — I wonder if she was raped??? If so, that's so horrible :(
Aww, poor baby! I was a premie, too, born two months early (36 weeks, I think?) and only three pounds seven ounces. I had to be in the ICU for a month before my parents were allowed to take me home.

I identify with her having a near death experience very early in life. I also was in my 1st car wreck at 13. Then later, I died for a little under a minute, while having my daughter at age 17. And having to relive such a horrifying incident does change one.
Man, now I really want to hear THIS story! It's not every day a near-death experience ends in pregnancy
