Cain is a non-believer who was forced to live in a society where religious idealisms are imposed and shoved down everyone's throat. He doesn't believe in an ominipotent, omniscient and omnipresent being many people call as "god". To be honest, he views the notion of "god" as just an escapegoat used by helpless people in order to put the blame on somebody. Certainly, if there is an entity called "god", the world would not have been corrupted by the diablos, which turned Earth into a living Hell. If there was a being called "god", there would have been no diablos to kill his parents in the first place. Stuck in cynicism, hatred and religious indifference; its quiet ironic how Cain was bound to become one of those who will lead mankind in their quest for freedom. As he began to know the true nature of this Holy War that he was bound to fight for, betrayal and deceit will cause him to sink deeper INTO THE DARK. Drei Esquivel was born in Tagum in 1992.
