This is a story that I randomly had an inspiration for.. it will start off all cute and cuddly and then somewhere in the plot it's going to take a very dark turn.. mwahaaa. __________________________ This story take place in North Carolina, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, when a young widowed woman decides to pursue an off grid way of life, with her infant daughter and small dog. Grieving the loss of her dead husband, she decides to live out his dreams and dive head first into the life they so desperately wanted to live together. However.. An older gentleman who happens to be the young widowed woman's neighbor, takes a sudden interest in the young woman who apparently has casted away the world, much like himself in various ways. Intrigued, and dealing with a similar grief.. the man soon decides to try and become friends with her. No matter how hard she fights him or declines his help.. he will inevitably become suffocatingly close until there is no escape from his presence and there needs. Take a chance, or take a hike.. either way I'll still be writing for our enjoyment.💚

Hospitals equipped with these technologies can bring people from the verge of death. Schools equipped with these technologies can make physics seem like basic arithmetic. Even the law itself now has access to these technologies, and ever since, the crime rates have dropped significantly. The lives of Kara, Kazimir and K80 are unexpectedly changed when they discover a glitch in the system - and the potential impending cataclysm that could wipe out the entire human race.

When Jamie Keller's father is killed in Iraq by a roadside bomb, her mother decides to combat the financial and emotional stress by moving the family from Hamilton, Ohio to the rural town of Promise, Oregon. Fourteen-year-old Jamie narrates the tale of the journey, intermingling descriptions of family dynamics with her own personal philosophy of life. The victims of Jamie's scrutiny include: older sister Jenny, who listens to praise music and wears a WWJD bracelet; younger brother Jake, contained and brainy, with know-it-all tendencies; and little sister Jana, lover of animals and sometimes the comic relief. After waiting for hours in the blazing heat, brother Jake finally goes in search of his mom only to return with an amazing story. He has located the car, and everything in it is intact (including the family's pet cats), but Mrs. Keller is nowhere to be found. Intensive searching proves futile. Their mother has vanished! Nervous about becoming wards of the state of Nevada, and fearful of being put in separate foster homes, the Keller kids decide to avoid authority, choosing instead to take the gamble, and continue on to Promise, Oregon. On the way into town, a giant JESUS banner is the first sign that Promise is in a bible belt. Jenny is thrilled, Jamie, not so. Upon arriving at the ranch, the Kellers are met with further disappointment when they discover that the 'ranch' is nothing more than an old trailer, situated off the grid. They were High School sweethearts and have been inseparable for over five years. ...He immediately notices the smell of gas. He dashes to Kimi's room and shouts. "We gotta' get out of here!" He takes her hand and they dash out the back door and into the woods. They get about 100 yards and then stop; just then the house explodes a huge fireball and burns fiercely. They both look at each other in shock. "What do we do now?" asks a terrified Kimi. "I'm not sure, but I know that we can't trust anyone right now! He points deeper the woods and says. "We'll talk later and get a plan, but for now we put some distance between us and the killers..."
