Daniel Lopez was quite the kid, despite where he stood. Despite his family stood. Perched in the downsides of town, living among one of the nooks in downtown California, Daniel had always been shades of flames contained in a jar. And when puberty came in with its sharp claws, Danny already knew it deep down...that he was gay. Before his sixteenth birthday, he came out to his parents. Both his parents were catholic. And they might have oozed of love, unfortunately there wasn't much of an acceptance that prevailed. His mom, Lucía, was sterner. Didn't kick him out, yet a few grudging comments were slipped. So, Daniel looked elsewhere-high and low. And in the search for elsewhere, he found out who he was. That's why he fit in with his friends, the ones who didn't mind breaking a rule or two. Or ten. Smoking, sneaking out, partying, drinking, wandering into places they weren't supposed to be. It was a rebellion that felt necessary. He was half Salvadorian, half Mexican and entirely American; straddling three cultures, somehow always feeling slightly out of place each, despite being completely open. Himself. Then, Atharv Das. Dios mío, Daniel didn't know who he was with him around. Atharv was also, quite the kid-despite where he stood. Despite where his parents stood. Perched in the upper sides of town, living in one of the higher class suburbs, he had always been sharp like a wineglass finally starting to crack at its base. And when puberty came in with its sharp claws, Das already knew it deep down inside...that he wasn't gay. Well, that's what he first tried to convince himself. He was smart, humble, disciplined, polite, impeccably mannered. The list went on. And gay? Come on. That didn't fit anywhere, did it? AD was told to tutor Daniel. Next thing you know, Danny's falling for those remarkable eyes of amber. He'd asked Atharv Das out when his grade shifted from an F to a C. Next thing you know, Atharv...managed a yes. Well, uh...something like that.

For Thao, UNT isn't just an elite university; it's the place where he perfected the art of vanishing. As a small-town scholarship student and a gay man, being a "ghost" is his ultimate survival mechanism. But there is one person who has always held the power to drag him back into the light in the worst possible way. Ian. His best friend's older brother. The guy who turned Thao's teenage years into a parade of cruel jokes, cutting remarks, and a constant disdain that Thao has never been able to forget. Ian represents everything Thao loathes: wealth, privilege, and the kind of arrogance that belongs to someone who thinks the world is his and feels he can hurt others without ever saying sorry. However, when a forced project and a shared secret push them together, the line between hatred and obsession begins to blur. Thao knows that falling for his tormentor is the biggest error in his system. But in the game of love and resentment, sometimes the most dangerous spark is born from the ashes of an old rivalry. Is it possible to forgive the one who broke you, or is this just another one of his cruel jokes?

Ayan wakes up with a pounding headache and the faint memory of kissing someone he can't remember. Vihaan remembers every second. And somehow, one stolen kiss becomes the beginning of an obsession. What starts with teasing glances and harmless annoyance slowly turns into something dangerous lingering touches, jealousy, sleepless nights, and feelings neither of them know how to handle. Because sometimes opposites don't just attract. Sometimes they ruin each other first. Enjoy reading, Gemmies 💗✨✨

But I didn't count on the eclipse. Kim Taehyung. He's not just a popular student; he's the wall standing between me and my dream. He's always there, hovering by Jungkook's side, smirking at my failed attempts, and beating me at every turn. He is my love rival. My enemy. My obsession. I'm supposed to surpass him. I'm supposed to win Jungkook's heart. But why does my pulse jump when Taehyung leans in close? Why does his gaze feel more electric than Jungkook's smile? I'm a fish reaching for the sky, but I might just be falling for the ocean instead. [HATE VS. LOVE: WHO WILL WIN?] Author: Kim Sammy

Jeremy isn't invisible. He has friends. A group chat that never shuts up. A seat at every lunch table that matters. He gets invited to things. He knows how to laugh at the right time and keep his head down when he needs to. He's not unpopular. He's just never the guy. When it comes to girls, he's background noise. The one you dap up. The one you call "cute" in a way that means absolutely nothing. The one who somehow always ends up holding someone's drink while she goes to talk to someone else. Sharon has never been background noise. In elementary school she was the "Sharon touch." In middle school she was the weird one. The angry one. The girl people made into a story before they ever tried to understand her. Now she's still a story, just a different version. Now she's the girl with a reputation. The one people talk about like they were there. The one they judge and want at the same time. A stupid party game brings up Jeremy's biggest insecurity in front of everyone. It's not brutal. It's just honest enough to sting. Sharon notices, offering her help. Not in a soft way. Not like she feels bad for him. More like she thinks it's fixable. She says she'll teach him how to get a girl. It's supposed to be practice. Just lessons. Just proving something. But it turns out pretending is harder than it sounds. Especially when you've both spent years standing on opposite sides of the same hallway. They were never as opposite as people made them out to be. And maybe the problem isn't that Jeremy doesn't know how to get a girl. Maybe it's that he's been looking in the wrong direction the whole time.

This is a story about two individuals-M. M. Faris Owais Malik and Halima Inaya Abdallah Rabiu-two completely different worlds destined to collide. Faris is a brilliant mind, a true nerd at heart and a dedicated software engineer. Quiet, calm, and deeply introspective, he prefers logic over noise, structure over chaos, and silence over unnecessary words. He observes more than he speaks, choosing his moments carefully, and finding comfort in lines of code rather than crowded conversations. Inaya, on the other hand, is his complete opposite. A passionate fashion designer bursting with creativity, she is loud, expressive, and impossible to ignore. A certified troublemaker and an unapologetic chatterbox, she fills every room with her energy, laughter, and endless commentary. Where Faris thrives in calm order, Inaya flourishes in beautiful chaos. Together, their contrasting personalities create a compelling dynamic, calm meets chaos, logic meets creativity, silence meets endless conversation. This is a story of opposites, of unexpected connections, and of how two entirely different souls can challenge, balance, and transform each other in ways neither ever imagined. This is not a soft romance. It is tension. It is resistance. It is the dangerous beauty of two broken rhythms daring to exist in the same space.

One built walls quietly. The other treated them like invitations. Kyle has spent years learning how to be invisible. It's easier that way - no expectations, no mistakes, no one looking too closely. And it worked. Until Darren walks in. He doesn't force his way in or try to fix anything. He doesn't ask Kyle to change. He just... stays - close enough to be felt, not close enough to be understood. And somehow, that's worse. Because Kyle starts to notice things he was never supposed to notice: the silence shifting, the space between them narrowing, himself - responding. This isn't a story about love at first sight. It's about attention, about safety that doesn't feel conditional - and what happens when someone becomes a place you don't want to leave.
