To Campus Journalists Ezekiel Luigi Aaron D. Lopez, the truth is absolute. To PolSci Scholar Jay Ahora Michika V. Perez, the truth is a luxury she cannot afford. He is chasing the story of a lifetime- a web of corruption that leads straight to the man who raised him. She is chasing a future for her family, built on the fragile hope that her father isn't the villain she remembers. They were never supposed to meet, but in the crowded hallways of the university, their lives begin to intertwine. He thinks he's saving the world by exposing the rot; she doesn't realize he's dismantling her life, brick by brick. And some truths don't just reveal the past-they destroy the present.

Layla was... particular. Not in a way people could easily define, but in the way she carried herself, in the way she moved through life like everything had already been thought through, decided, placed exactly where it needed to be. She wasn't overly optimistic, not the kind that believed everything would magically work out. Hers was quieter than that. Sharper. The kind that came from knowing she had already planned for every possible outcome. Nothing in her life was accidental. Everything had a place. Everything made sense. She had a routine she never broke, a life that never surprised her, and a world that stayed exactly the way she expected it to. Until it didn't. Until someone walked into the classroom like rules didn't apply to him. Or maybe he didn't walk. Maybe he just... existed loudly enough to be impossible to ignore. Either way, everything shifted. Because after him, things stopped making sense. Her nights were no longer quiet. They were filled with dreams that didn't feel like dreams. They felt vivid. Lingering. Like something just out of reach. Like something she should remember. Like something that belonged to her. And that was the problem. Because Layla didn't forget things. This wasn't supposed to happen. And when the truth began to surface, it didn't come with clarity. It came in fragments. In moments that felt misplaced. In pieces of a past that didn't align with the life she knew she had lived. That was when she understood. There had been a before him. There was a during him. And somehow... There would be an after him. She just never thought she would have to live it.

I would love to have others help me grow in my writing too. I hope you like it!

They told her the surface doesn't exist. Not anymore. Not for anyone below. In the underground city, even the idea of a sky is just a forgotten concept - something no one has ever seen, and no one is meant to imagine. Aira has lived her entire life beneath sealed ceilings of metal and stone. The world above is not a place. It is a warning. Until the night she hears a voice coming from behind her wall. "You saw me." Something is wrong inside the city. Something that should not exist in a place that was built to be complete. And for the first time, Aira starts to question everything - not just what is above them... but whether the truth was ever allowed to exist at all.

She wasn't supposed to end up here. Not in Toronto. Not alone. Not surviving life one exhausted breath at a time. Maria is not living-she's getting through it. One suitcase. One backpack. One uncertain tomorrow. Until a single moment changes everything. A post. A stranger. A hedgehog. "Looking for a hedgehog sitter. Stay-in option available." It should've meant nothing. But when you're running out of places to go... "nothing" starts to look like a chance. So she replies. And walks into a week that was never supposed to matter. Because the house isn't empty. And neither is he. He didn't expect her. She didn't expect him. And neither of them expected what happens when two strangers start sharing silence, space... and something dangerously close to feeling safe. But healing doesn't happen quietly. And staying-really staying-comes with a cost. Somewhere between late-night conversations, unspoken truths, and a small creature that changes everything, Maria starts to realize: This was never just about a place to stay. It was about what happens when someone finally makes you want to stay. And the scariest part? She's not sure she can leave anymore.

Social Butterfly Najimi Osana, a remarkable figure in Itan Private High School with 580k friends on social media, 2.18 million followers and the ability to listen to eight people at once- despite this, they are well aware that they're nothing but a side character or comic relief. Even their childhood friend, Tadano the famous interpreter doesn't pick up on what Najimi is really feeling. Eventually, 'overbooking' them for after school/weekends is incredibly overwhelming, but walling off from the 2k friends they know personally isn't something they'd prefer to do. Again, Najimi isn't a diamond- they're a delicate butterfly, and it won't take long for them to break. I don't own Komi Can't Communicate or any of the art used. The title is NOT suggesting that people of neither gender don't have/deserve an identity. It is a reference to the bullying of some users in this fanfic but mostly relating to the hollow feeling inside Najimi, being popular but never really genuine. Again, not a stereotype. I think people of all genders deserve the same amount of respect whether or not they have a specific pronoun. Please do not misinterpret this. Most chapters under rewrite! I feel like some parts in the story aren't concise enough and use long words placed in sentences in a confusing way. Might also want to add that Najimi's inner self in this story is in no way canon.
