Elsewhere in the galaxy, the Quarians have evacuated their homeworld of Rannoch following the Geth Wars, prompting the Citadel to send reinforcements. While the battle goes well, one of the Quarian ships gets boarded by the enemy, and the ensuing chaos that follows results in the ship reaching the Mass Relay towards the Sol Cluster. What follows is a survival-hardened civilization dragged into the mess of galactic politics and eventual conflicts between several factions. This story is not yet rated, and Wattpad has the absolute authority to change it.

In Shepard's absence, Garrus has begun taking a leadership role. trying to send out a distress call, a civilian cargo ship in the next system over heeds the call. Upon hearing of the Normandy crew's finding, Admiral Hackett relays a message. Shepard's body has been found. Any and all criticisms are very welcome, I'm making this story out of love for the characters.

This story has been inspired from the Mass effect video game series. The story is about Commander Shepard, a succesful leader, a veteran human soldier and a man striving to give humanity a better place in this world.The story takes place within the Milky Way galaxy during the 22nd century, where humanity is threatened by an Insectoid species known as the Collectors. Commander Shepard must construct and gain the loyalty of a diverse team and stop the enemy by plunging his sword in the heart of the enemy, its home, the Collecter ship in the Omega 4 relay. The Reaper Invasion might have been defeated, but it was not without sacrifice. The galaxy is in ruins and with the destruction of the Mass Relay network, the restoration process is near impossible. Luckily, the brightest minds of the galaxy had been stranded on Earth and they have been working tirelessly repairing the Charon relay. The Council will need people to scout the galaxy and help restore what was lost, and the man they need most, who was thought to have been killed at the end of the Reaper war, has resurfaced.
