Kesia is a dwarf, she's never belonged anywhere, not Erebor, not the Iron Hills. No, she's a wanderer, she goes where she wishes and doesn't stay in the same place for very long. She's always up for an adventure, and Gandalf comes to her with just the adventure to make this wild girl settle down. She helps with the journey to reclaim Erebor, and she meets the most adorable dwarf to fall in love with.

What if Bilbo Baggins wasn't the only new member that assisted the dwarves and what if we had another side of the same story? How will The King Under The Mountain react when meeting the 15th member of his company? Elen, born in Rivendell, but not completely an elf, finds herself binded by destiny to Thorin's company. But when secrets of her past come back to light and when the journey she goes on pushes her in places she swore she'll never return, when old friends and enemies are encountered, how will Elen manage to remain focused on her task. How will the company react when finding out about her past and what will Thorin think when he'll discover they're not as different as he originally thought? Will Elen manage to find the strength to carry on and will the line of Durin survive in this alternative universe? Maybe even the King will find its peace. Amelia is a respectable Hobbit. She has spent all her days in her hobbit hole visiting her cousin Bilbo Baggins, staying well away from adventures, but Amelia has one fatal flaw that has always let her down, no matter how hard she tries she can't stop herself from 'borrowing' pretty things. She never wants to keep the things she takes, but the people she takes them never seem to believe her. One day she sees something that strikes her fancy. She tried so hard to resist the urge, but to no avail. What she doesn't realise is when she 'borrows' that object she is inadvertently getting herself and her cousin into an adventure that they may not be ready for. "Your father said no..." the leader said as he turned around the corner from another hallway "not that I'm surprised" "He never was a warrior, nor a burglar..." I trailed, my feet seemingly frozen to the golden-stained wood. Silence settled between us "Do you fight?" "Yes" I answered obediently "I use a sword" "Are you good with it" he questioned once more, moving a few steps closer as he did. "I would like to think so, or those years of training was a waste of my hard-earned money." I couldn't take my eyes off the ground, it was like just a glance would almost knock you off your feet, but that intense stare that I could feel on the crown of my head started to burn like a wild fire, scorching my scalp as it did so. "Hmm" he mumbled as his form gently pushed passed me, a gentleness that I didn't think he was capable of "would you be interested...13 is an unlucky number and us dwarves are superstitious" his voice was stern and powerful, just like his glare. It felt like the warm browns and golds that adorned the corridor started to swirl as I started to sway to its rhythm, almost as if a trance held me by the throat, pushing me to that position just before passing out were I was my most vulnerable. White light starting to dance in my vision. "Yes...I'll come with you." He stoped in his tracks once more, the silence from his boots crunching the dirt that stuck underneath it being a clear indicator "good, get packing..."

This is the English version of "Sambril Scudodiquercia". English isn't my mother language so I'm sorry if I will do a lot of mistake, I hope I won't. Thorin Oakenshield will be test by something that he didn't exepect, this is a test that he will fail and that will change his life forever. A story of strenght and bravery, a story that see a young female Dwarf approaching to the world and her responsabilities as a princess. A story of love, love for her family, love for the men of her life. Bilbo Baggins and the fellowship will welcome her in their journey.
