Despite that, they began to drift apart as they both began developing solo careers. One day Marie was able to get a three day vacation and left for Calamari County. Callie on the other hand could not come because of an important meeting. The two planned to meet on the second day of Marie's vacation. However, danger was lurking in Octo Canyon. Mara is an Octoling grow up in Octo Canyon. She has been taught to hate Inklings and kill them (or capture them) on sight. After helping steal the "Great" Zapfish and kidnap Callie, Mara is approved to help fight the inkling and take them down once and for all. But once she starts she realizes how terrible the thing she is doing are. After getting her act together she go and try's to help the Inklings. Only a few believe and the rest... they try to kill her. On the verge of being caught she has to act fast. Note: I do not most of the characters credit goes to the creators of Splatoon 2
