The breeze was starting to get chilly as the winter season comes. Some people were wearing their not so thick jacket and some were not. The puff from their mouth indicates that snow is about to fall soon.
For the people who love winter, it's the best season for them but for those who does not, it is the worst. Just like Somi who is struggling to sleep under the snug room with three people detainees inside.
For the past year she has been here, she never talked that much. Somi always stay on the corner and do nothing, waiting for someone to visit her. When the judge sentence her three years imprisonment, she was totally devastated and had her mental breakdown. She was furious to touch Jennie and can't believe that something will happen to her unexpectedly. Up until now she feels completely mad at Jennie and Lisa's father for putting her in this situation. As much as she wanted to hold her son's hand, carry him and be with Liam all time, it's way very impossible to do. She have seen Liam once after a month of being detained and nothing follows. They didn't allow kids to stay and visit the prison with the age of three and below.
"You've been staring at the picture for two hours now" One of the detainees said while crashing the foods in her mouth "I know you missed them but you only have one year left and you'll be free. You're lucky that you have short period of time in here while w-"
"Shut up. Three years is too much. I don't deserve this. Basically, they have grudges on me that's why they had to do it" Somi said with her gritted teeth, she wiped her tears as she looked at her family picture. Liam's first birthday, they looked happy and then one day it turned into Somi's darkest days when Jennie showed up.
The two detainees just chuckled on Somi's response, they are used to her. Somi looks so thin and stressed, all she wanted was to see Liam and Lisa visiting her. She looks at the calendar next to her, she knows that Lisa arrived home. She smile and feel the excitement knowing that her ex fiance might visit her in no time.
"You'll see my ex fiance visiting me one of these days" Somi told them and they looked at each other "She's a surgeon and she still cares about me"

"Move over" Jennie mumbled with anger while glancing at Lisa who's under the blanket and still hugging her to look like they're one. She tried her best to remove Lisa's body from her until Lisa decided to.
"How can I move out from your unit?" Lisa whispered, she's getting sweaty from nervousness.
"It's your fault. Why you didn't go home?" Jennie hissed back and steal glances at the kitchen where Bobby and her Dad were, her father let the door open to check her from time to time. "Just use the balcony"
Lisa shoved the blanket and took her seat out of surprise "Do I look like spiderman?" She growl with low tone of voice.
"Jennie.. " Her Dad called and they hear footsteps.
Lisa dive back but this time she's on Jennie's tummy. The latter pull the comforter back and tried her best to look fine.
"Y-Yes dad?" She stuttered and pinch Lisa's hand when she accidentally hit Jennie's injury.
"Do you want to eat here in the kitchen or should we give you a breakfast in bed?" Her father peek from the door frame "You look very sick, after this you may take a rest"
"O-oh.. I feel like I'm sick" Jennie acted out and touched her forhead to look real "Can I sleep in peace later?"
"Sure. Bobby will go to work later so I'll stay here while Ella's in her school. She will sleep here for you" Her Dad said which made Jennie nodded "Okay, I'll go get you something to eat"
Jennie pull up the comforter a bit "Okay, you need to go as soon as Bobby left" She said.
"Stop pressing the comforter too much, I can't breathe" Lisa cough, few strands of her hair were a bit soaked because of sweat "Could you tell me what time is it?"
Jennie looked at the digital wall clock "It's 9am already" She whispered.
Lisa heave a sighed "I'm late"
"Not my fault" Jennie rolled her eyes.
Minutes passed and her Dad arrived in her room with tray in his hand. Jennie tried her best to gain her posture right while Lisa was on the top of her. When her Dad put the tray in front of her, he let her eat on her own and went back in the kitchen to join Bobby.
Jennie peek under the comforter and planning to give Lisa a bite of fruit but she found her sleeping with full of sweat. Despite of feeling the coldness of breeze, Jennie grab the remote of her air-condition and turn it on.
After an hour of staying in that situation, Bobby finally said his goodbye to Jennie and left to work. The latter can breathe now knowing that Lisa can sneak out easily since it's only Mr. Kim who is in her unit. Lisa was still asleep on Jennie's body so Jen didn't bother to wake her up.
"Dad?" Jennie called.
"Hmm? You need something?" He asked as he walked in.
"Nothing.. Thank you for taking care of me" Jennie said.
"Of course you're my daughter" He laughed "Don't worry, for as long as I'm alive, no one can harm you ever again"
Jennie bobbed her head and smile.
"I approve Bobby" He said out of topic. Jennie gazed on him with confusion "If ever Bobby ask you out, I won't stop you. I can feel his sincerity towards you. He's a great man"
"I'm not thinking about it Dad" Jennie scoffed and shook her head "He would not ask me out"
"He will. The gestures he was showing? I know one day, he will confess and take full of responsibility to you and Reign. That's the only thing we wished for Jennie. Someone who'll take care of Reign and not just you. I can see Bobby as a father figure to Reign" Mr. Kim seriously said while looking at Jennie's eyes "But still, it's your decision. I just don't want-"
"Dad stop" Jennie cut him off "I know what I am doing"
"Alright" He said "I'll let you sleep. Just call me, I'm only in the living room"
Jennie didn't reply and let his Dad left but this time, he closed the door. She removed the comforter on her body and let Lisa breathe comfortably. Jennie can tell that Lisa was in her deep sleep as the lady didn't even move on her position despite of being soak from sweat.
Jennie poked Lisa's forehead and stares at her. After seconds, she lean her head on the board and heave a sigh. She wiped Lisa's sweat on forehead by her hand and make her sleep comfortably on the bed. She can't fix Lisa's position so she just push her gently. She knows Lisa so well, she won't wake up easily by just a single touch.
Jennie closed her eyes for a moment and didn't realize that she fall asleep. A sudden movement from the outside made her flinch. She open her eyes and rubbed it, still Lisa was still on her dream. She covered Lisa once again and pull her body to stick with her. It's 10 in the morning and Lisa needs to go to work. Her phone is vibrating indicates that someone is calling her.
"Lisa.. " Jennie called her "Lisa"
"Hmm" She hummed and didn't bother to open her eyes.
"Wake up and you have to go" She whispered as she shook her body.
"Give me a minute" Lisa covered herself as if she's in her house. Jennie rubbed her face and removed the duvet.
"Okay then I'll expose you to Dad" Jennie threatened.
Lisa's eyes widened and quickly got up from the bed "It's already 10" She said when her eyes pinned on the clock "I need to go"
She get off from the bed and fixed herself "Be quiet. Dad is outside the room" Jennie reminded her.
Lisa took her deepest breath and swallow a lump "I need to go before 11. I have rounds that time" She said.
Jennie frown and nodded "Okay, I'll make a way" She said and tried to get off. Lisa quickly help her out to stand up but Jennie refused to hold her hand "Stay here in my room and I'll ask Dad to buy me something outside. Just give me a second and.. Brush your teeth"
When Jennie walked on her own, Lisa smell her breath and knitted her eyebrows "It smells good" She confusingly said.
"Hide at the comfort room first" Jennie said which Lisa did "Wait until I call you out"
Lisa nodded and stayed inside the bathroom, she didn't close the door and let it open to hear Jennie's voice. She took her phone out and found Jisoo's missed calls. She dialed her number and tried to call her but it was busy.
While Lisa was in the bathroom, Jennie was trying to talk to her Dad. She was convincing him to buy a meal outside which her Dad found very odd.
"Please? I'm craving for it" Jennie said as she balance herself.
"Are you pregnant?" He jokingly said.
"Whatever. Just.. Just please?" Jennie begged and glances at her room.
"Are you hiding something?" He raise his eyebrow which alarmed Jennie.
The lady scoffed and laughed "What are you talking about? I was-"
"Okay fine fine. I'll buy it really quick, just wait me here" Mr. Kim laughed at her daughter's reaction and help her to sit on the couch "Just wait me here"
Jennie bobbed her head and Mr. Kim left the unit. She waited for 10 minutes before she call Lisa, making sure that her Dad was out.
"Lisa!" Jennie called.
The tall Lady walked out, tiptoeing "Is it safe?" She asked.
Jennie nodded "Yeah, you may leave. Go" She said "My Dad will come back sooner".
Lisa nodded her head and took Liam's clothes "Are you sure?" She asked her.
"What do you mean by that?" Jennie huffed "You need to go"
Lisa smile at her and bowed her head "I'll be back to check y-"
"Don't. You came here because of Liam's and not this" Jennie sternly said which made Lisa's smile faded "Thank you for securing me last night, I highly appreciate it"
Jennie looked away as she crossed her arms "No problem. I hope you feel better soon" Lisa sincerely said and breathe out "I'm leaving"
Jennie didn't response and let Lisa leave. She just stares at Lisa's back until the Lady closed the door. Jennie lean her head back and shut her eyes because of stress.

Lisa's P. O. V
I yawned silently as I took the elevator in the hospital. My Dad was calling me but I didn't answer him, I know he'll ask me where I am. I still wanted to sleep. My body feels so numb for sleeping on the couch. I just took a shower in my unit and prepare myself to go to work, I want to lay on the bed all day.
When I reached the office, it's Ten who's inside. He was busy with her laptop and didn't think about bugging him. I open mine and sit on the chair as I waited for it to settled.
"You're late" Ten said.
"I went somewhere important" I replied while stretching my arms "Is everybody looking for me?" I jokingly said.
"Nobody but we thought you're absent for today and you'll pass your obligation to Jisoo" He said while laughing.
"Tsss" I hissed and started doing my business. I still have 30 minutes left before I start the visitation.
I purse my lips and started typing reports on my laptop then I remembered Jennie. Even though she doesn't want me around, I just couldn't help but to smile as I remember her but there's one thing that can make me feel bad, it is Bobby. I know how some men confess their feelings. It is by giving flower of course and that's what I've seen in Jennie's unit.
It's from Bobby. I'm not complaining because I can't blame him for liking Jennie if he does. I snapped out when someone throw a crumpled paper on my chest, it's Jisoo.
"You're late then you'll be home early today? That's very unfair" She complained and slump her body on office chair, it's still early yet she looks very exhausted.
I frowned as I looked at my phone to check the date, I almost forgot that I have something to do today after my duty. I asked my Dad to let me and he did.
"It is very important" I mumbled.
"I have schedule tonight and seems like I'll be home late" Jisoo sigh "Aaahh! This is stressing me out"
"As long as you're working under this field, you'll feel that way" I said as I flip the pages of my book. I got up from my chair and put the pen on my pocket "I have to check the patients, I'll be back" I said and made way out of the room.
I went to the station where the nurse stays and took the clipboard to check the names of patients. I didn't waste any minute and visited the wards. I still have out patients to check after lunch so I can't take a long break later.
After rounding, I went to the office to rest for 30 minutes before I take my lunch "Good afternoon Doc" A usual greeting from the patients I passed by. I put my hands inside the pocket and focus on walking when I bump into someone.
"Oh, I'm sor-"
"Lisa?"
My eyes widened when Somi's Dad was in front of me. I bowed my head and furrowed my eyebrows.
"Good day Uncle. How are you?" I asked.
He looked very shocked that I am here, well I didn't tell them. I just smile at him and look around to avoid awkwardness.
"Why are you here?" I asked.
"No, why are you here?" He asked "When did you come back?"
"Few days ago.. I'm sorry if I don't have chance to visit you but I've already met Liam" I stated and smile at the nurse who passed by "So why are you here? Do you want me to accommodate you?"
"No. I'm done with my check up" He said and looking at me from head to toe "So one year left?"
"Yeah" I nodded.
"I'm happy that you're here. Somi will be happy to see you. You're planning to visit her, right?" He asked with his eyes pleading.
I nodded my head and smile forcefully "Yeah. I hope she's fine" I said then someone call my name because of emergency "I'll leave you here, let's talk when I visit" I said and bowed my head. Up until I leave the place, Somi's dad still looked very surprised on my sudden appearance.
I hurriedly went to the emergency room and found a patient bathing on his own blood. I quickly wear my stethoscope and check the patient's heart beat.
"Let the family stay outside the ER" I told the nurse and let them close the curtain.

"Gonna bump you" Liam talked alone, he was playing inside his room with a lot of cars and robots. He heave a sigh as he put down the car he was holding and grab the bear that Jennie gave before he tiptoe to reach the window "I can't see anything" He said and pushed the chair beside him to step on it.
He stares outside and waited for someone he knows to pick him up and take him out to walk. He rested his chin on the window and breathe out.
"I'm bored" Liam mumbled and walked towards the door, he peek outside then got surprised when his grandma passes by.
"Oh Liam! Come here.. Don't worry. Your Grandfather isn't here" She said and encourage him to go out.
Liam took his grandma's hand and they made their way down the stairs. "I prepared packed lunch for your Mom, I've already gave it to your grandpa" Mrs. Jeon giggled and carry Liam, they stop right in front of Somi's graduation picture and pointed it "Do you want to visit her soon?"
Liam looked intently at it "Yeah" He softly said.
"You used to be with her all the time before but unfortunately something happened unexpectedly. I hope you didn't forget your Mommy's face"
"I don't" Liam uttered
The door went open and Mr. Jeon came in. She put Liam down and let him greet his grandfather formally. The young boy bowed his head and walked towards him to give a kiss.
"Can I talk to Liam for a moment?" He asked and took his grandson's hand gently "Just for a moment"
Mrs. Jeon nodded her head made her way to the kitchen but she seems very confused on her husband's action. She took a glimpse of the two and found them talking in the living room. She can't lie to herself that Liam likes to live here, the kid doesn't show any enjoyment under their roof. It is because of her strict husband, he doesn't want the kid to run around and create a mess that's why Liam always stayed in his room.
Mr. Jeon put Liam on his lap and showed something on his phone, they're both smiling and laughing, it's very strange to them to enjoy each others company.
"If ever your Dada take you away from us, are you willing to go?" He asked the kid.
"Yeah because she's my Dada" Liam said.
"But we raise you" Mr. Jeon replied and fixed the kid's hair "But if you want to go it's fine with me. Don't worry, your Mom will come home soon" He smile and kissed Liam's head.

Somi was busy folding her clothes and put it inside her small cabinet. She just took a bath and still wearing the same color of clothes for detainees. She looked somewhat happy because her Dad visited earlier.
A sudden knocked on the door made other detainees look and stood up to bow but Somi did not. She just gazed on them and stop from doing her business.
"Miss Jeon Somi, you have visitor" The police said.
Somi knitted her eyebrows "Do you mind if I ask you the name?" She asked.
"Lisa, she said her name is Lisa"
Somi's eyes bulge out when she heard her ex fiance's name. She stood up unintentionally and let the clothes dropped on the floor. She swiftly run towards the door and fixed her hair.
"Let me out" She excitedly said.
Before Somi go, she tuck in her hair behind hear ears and made her way out. The police put handcuffs around her wrist and escorted her towards the area where the visitors wait.
Lisa was seating straight on the area as she waited for Somi to arrive. When the latter saw Lisa's back, she couldn't get enough her excitement upon seeing Lisa's appearance. As soon as they open the door, Lisa stood up.
"We will give you one hour to talk. 5pm is the exact time that we don't allow visitors anymore" The police sternly said while unlocking the handcuffs "Okay, you're free to talk to her" He said and let go Somi's hand.
Somi didn't waste anytime and run to Lisa, she jump and hug her so tight. She burst out crying as soon as her body feels Lisa's.
"I missed you.. You're finally here" She cried.
Lisa smile a bit and tried to console Somi by rubbing her back.
