Dixie, the ambassidor.
When we woke up the next day it was Sunday so we had to head back to school. So we got breakfast and cheeked out and went outside to the limo that Hunter and Quinn had hired for the whole weekend. We got to the train station in record time and were on the train on the way back to the school. Once we were back on the road again heading towards the school. When we reached the school and got to the dorm we were bombarded by our friends, I was the first out of the car and Auby ran at me and Squeaked be until I couldn't breathe. Then when Hunter got out of the car all his elf (minions) friends came over to greet him and welcome him home. When Sookie got out the car Sky ran at her and gave her a hug. When Quinn finally emerged from the car he was greeted by all the other wolves. When Auby finally let me go I looked around for Luna. She had hung back with Winfred and they stood in the doorway. I headed towards them when someone grabbed my arm I spun around and it was one of Hunter's friends I think it was Angus Lucas. I looked at him in surprise and he looked angary. And I said, "Angus, are you ok?" he glared at me and said, "Why are you with Hunter?" I looked at him in shock and said, "Because I love him and I care about him." He scrutinized me with his eyes and let go of my arm and walked away. And I turned to see Luna and Winfred looking at me, Luna with shock on her face and Winfred looking like he was about to walk over and yell at Angus. I walked towards them and Luna said, "Are you okay? Why would Angus do that to you?" I nodded and said, "I'm fine and I have no idea why he did that. And how have you two been while I was away?" she looked up at Winfred and said, "Me and Winfred are fine." I rolled my eyes and said, "I wasn't talking about you and Winfred. I was talking about you and ......." I nodded towards her stomach. She smiled and said, "We are fine, thanks." I nodded and smiled and said, "Have you choose a name, yet?" Luna and Winfred looked at each other and Luna shook her head. I looked at them and said, "Cool, I guess when you find out what the baby is you will figure out the name then." I turned and said, "Bye!" over my shoulder. I headed over to where Sookie was being brought up to speed by Warren, Rosaria, Wendell, Rory, Sky and Jace. She looked relieved when she saw me walking towards them and she said, "Dixie, do you mind visiting another school to meet there wolves so that we can get to know all the people of the pack that you and I will be in charge of when we graduate?" I nodded and said, "Um sure, but why aren't you going?" she looked at me and said, "You remember when we were little?" I nodded and she continued, "And we had to go to another school for a while and there were some kids who picked on us because we are girls and we are going to be in charge?" I nodded and said, "Yeah, they always picked on you because you are going to be the Alfa and they tried to pick on me but I just ran away and they couldn't catch up with me." She nodded and I said, " I don't mind going if you really don't want to go besides I'm stronger and more confident than I was when we were little and I have better flexibility than then and I don't think they are going to get on my bad side once they meet and get to know me. Do you?" She shook her head and started laughing and I said, "So when do I have to leave?" she stopped laughing and said, "Right after you pack some different clothes and we see the Angles." I looked at her I shock and said, "Okay, I'm going to need your help to pack if I only have that much time. Um, maybe we should get Sky, Rory, Rosaria and Luna to help me pack because you know how long it took us just to pack my bag for the weekend trip." She nodded and said, "Sky, Rory, Rosaria do you mind getting Luna and telling her to meet us up in our room so she can help us pack Dixie's bag please and can you get started picking outfits so that Dixie can choose which ones she wants to wear when she goes while we go and meet the Angles please?" they nodded and headed off to find Luna. Whilst me and Sookie went to find the Angles when I spotted Hunter I grabbed his arm and pulled him along behind us and when Sookie saw Quinn she grabbed him by the arm and pulled him behind us. I saw from the corner of my eye Angus looked at me with angry eyes and I lowered my head. When we reached the dorms living room we saw the twins sitting together in one of the corners, it looked like they were doing their homework. We walked over to them and they turned to see us walking towards them. They stood up once we reached them and Sookie said, "I'm Sookie Stackhouse and this is my boyfriend Quinn." And I said, "I'm Wyne-Dixie Star and this is my boyfriend Hunter." They nodded and the boy said, "I'm Dan Angle and this is my sister, Shannon." She nodded and Sookie said, "We are sorry we couldn't welcome you earlier but we had a trip to go on and we can't stay long because I have to help Dixie pack for her to go to another school for a week to meet there wolves." Shannon nodded and said, "We understand. It is very nice to meet all four of you and a complete honour to meet you Sookie and you Dixie. I know our Uncle will be very pleased that we were welcomed to well." I looked at the clock on the wall and looked at Sookie and I said, "I'm really sorry but I have to leave soon so we better go and pack my bags for my trip. It was very nice to meet you both and I promise that I will get to know you both when I get back. And I'm sure whilst I'm gone my soon to be Alfa will take care of you and get to know you both." Shannon said almost instantly, "Wait, we want you to meet our cousin, Dawson. He just went into the kitchen to get a drink. Oh, look here he comes. Dawson, come and meet the famous Sookie and Wyne-Dixie and their boyfriends Quinn and Hunter." A tall, fair haired, good-looking boy walked towards us, in a very casual way. I looked at Sookie and she looked at me and we both had worried and dazzled expressions on our faces. Dan said "Dawson, this is Sookie Stackhouse and her boyfriend Quinn." He pointed to them and Sookie extended her hand to Dawson, in a polite gesture and Dawson took it and shook her hand, with his eyes fixed on me (The way he looked at me freaked me out but he looked oddly familiar.). Dan carried on, "And this is Wyne-Dixie Star and her boyfriend, Hunter." I extended my hand, as Sookie did, in a polite gesture and he shook my hand and said, "It's such a shame 2 of the most beautiful women here are taken." He smiled at me and Sookie and I dropped his hand and grabbed Hunters and I said, "Thank you, your very flattering but we really must go I have a bit of packing to do before I leave." I started to turn when Dawson said, "Where are you going to?" I turned around to look at him and said, "I'm going to Little Hamptons High School for supernatural beings." he nodded and said, "Well, then I hope you have a nice trip and goodbye." and Sookie, Quinn, Hunter and I said "Goodbye." Hunter and Quinn walked us to the stairs and I kissed Hunter on the cheek and said, "I'll see you when I get back and I'm going to miss you more than ever." He looked me in the eyes and said "Just thinking about it makes me miss you." He kissed me on the cheek. Whilst I was saying goodbye to Hunter, Sookie and Quinn had been saying see you later to each other and organising to watch a movie tonight together. Me and Sookie headed up stairs to our room were Luna, Sky, Rory and Rosaria had picked me some outfits to wear on my trip. I couldn't pick so I packed them all. I had enough for 3 weeks when I was only going for 1 week. We put them all into suitcases and headed down stairs. I had 2 suitcases for my trip and that was all I needed and the car that had ' Little Hampton High School for Supernatural Creatures' on the side I shook my head and said to Sookie, "I'm more likely to get attacked in that than in a normal taxi!" We all said our goodbyes and I climbed into the car and waved out the window as I drove away from my school, my home and the people I loved.
It took about 3 hours to get to Little Hampton High School. The only people who were out and about were a teacher who was waiting for me. I climbed out the car once it stopped and I grabbed my bags from the boot of the car and walked over to the teacher and she said, "Are you Wyne-Dixie or Sookie?" I said, "I'm Wyne-Dixie but I prefer people call me Dixie." she nodded and said, "I'm going to call you Wyne-Dixie as that is what you parents named you." I sighed (Great, a teacher who is going to call me by my full name even my parents didn't call me by my full name when there weren't missing). She started to walk to a building which I assumed was either the Shape-Shifter dorm or the Guest dorm I wasn't sure and she said, "This is the Shape-Shifter dorm, you will be staying in here in your own room next to the other female wolves but they are all in class at the moment so I will show you the way to you room so you can settle in." OMG!!! They have school on SATURDAY!!! I feel so sorry for the poor kids who go here. We walked up to a smallish room which was going to be mine for the rest of the week. She opened the door with a key and handed me the key once she had unlocked the door and said "Here is you key and this is your room there is a piece of paper stuck to the other side of the door telling you the times of meals and classes. I will leave you know and goodbye, Wyne-Dixie." Great, she said my full name again and I said "thank you and Goodbye." I walked into the room and closed the door behind me I put my suitcases on the bed and walked to the window and opened the curtains which were shut and turned to look at the room. It was very plain and not very extravagant. I walked over to the bed and opened my suitcases and unpacked my clothes and put them into the tiny closet at the end of the bed. Once I had done that I pulled out my 5 sets of shoes out of the other suitcases and put them by the door and went to sit on the bed after pulling all my other things out and putting them on the bedside table and putting the empty suitcases under my bed. I sat down and pulled my phone out of my pocket and cheeked the time it was 3:30pm and I looked at the sheet on the back of the door they should have finished school by now so I headed down to the Lobby/living room of the dorm and sat in one of the arm chairs which was facing the dorm and grabbed one of the magazines from one of the coffee tables and started reading then there was a lot of people flooding through the doors up the stairs and more back down. One of the many girls saw me and stoped her friends and pointed at me. They started to walk over to me and I stood up and the girl said, "Cool, a new kid. What do you change into?" I looked at her and said, "I'm not new for I'm only staying for a week and I change into a wolf. And I'm here to meet the other wolves here. Sookie was supposed to come but she does not like the reputation of the male wolves here so I have come instead. I'm Wyne-Dixie by the way but please call me Dixie." The girl stared at me in disbelief and I said, "What's your name?" she shook her head and, "My name is Ava Long, and these three are Amanda Grey, Jennifer Lowworth and Loralie Marks. We all change into wolves and those boys that your Sookie doesn't want to see are our boyfriends apart from Timothy and Paul they are single." I nodded and said, "It's nice to meet you and I do need to meet the boys as well please I only have a week to get to know you so I better get started." Ava snorted and said, "Who are you to get to know us and to tell us what needs to happen?" I looked at her and sighed and said, "You have not done much homework about the pack since I know all of your dads and you don't know who mine and Sookie's dads are and they are the 2 most important people in the pack shame on you. Because Sookie is going to be Alfa when we graduate and I'm going to be the Beta. So that's who I am to tell you what needs to be done and to get to know you." They looked at me in shock and Ava said in a small voice, "I'm sorry I talked to you like that, Dixie." She bowed her head and so did the other three and I shrugged and sat down and said, "So where are those Guys of yours then?" It was Loralie who answered me, "They are probably out on the field training." I nodded and stood up and said, "I'm just like any other person and I have one question." They all looked up at me and I continued "Why aren't you training with the Guys?" Ava said, "We are not allowed to train with the Guys just in case they hurt us." I snorted and they all looked at me in shock and I said, "Could you please show me to your changing room by the Field please I wish to see you Guys in action." they nodded and showed me the way to the Field and then pointed to the Changing room and I asked If I could borrow one of there spare Gym kits and that I would pay for a new set for them and Ava gave me a set and I asked, "Is there a locker I could use?" Ava nodded and showed me an empty locker I had a padlock from my room back at my school in my pocket it was indestructible so they couldn't steal my clothes if they wanted to. I got changed and put my clothes into the locker and locked it and Ava asked, "What are you going to do?" I looked at her and said, "I'm going to go and see what you Guys are made of by sneaking up on them and seeing what their reaction is to me interrupting there training with a surprise attack." They all looked at me in shock and I walked to the entrance towards the field and said "Can your Guys change in mid air?" They all shock their heads and I said, "That is one of the first things me and my three best friends were taught at my school. I'll show you watch. I'll see you later once I have interrupted your Guys Training. Bye." They looked at me in shock as I jumped and changed instantly. And ran fast and quietly towards were the 6 wolves were training. I made a wolf snicker and ran and jumped at the one closest to me and he went down immediately. I flipped of him when he was down and the other 5 came at me I dodged 4 of the attacks and flipped them over. When the last one came at me I just stood there and let him nock me down he was standing over me when I changed back when I was human I started laughing. I saw Ava running towards me with a arm full of clothes I grabbed the clothes and got dressed and turned to look at the 6 wolves and I nodded and said, "None of you could beat a girl that is so funny but none of the boys at my school can beat me either only my friend Sookie but that's probably because she is going to be the Alfa." I laughed. I started to head towards the changing rooms when Ava came to walk with me and she said, "You have some guts you know. They are really pissed know. They hate it when a girl beats them. And did you just let Alec beat you just then?" I looked at her and rolled my eyes and said, "Yeah, I did I just stood there. They are so stupid they didn't even feel me change and feel an extra head added to their thoughts and I felt all 6 of theirs when I changed. And was that a Lion that I saw their running round the field watching the wolves?" Ava nodded and said, "That was Alex, he is Alec's best friend. They have been best friends since before kindie." I nodded and, "Cool, so I'm going to go back to the changing rooms and get changed and then I'm going to head back to the dorm. Do you mind walking with me? I don't take long to get changed." We walked into the changing rooms and the other 3 were in there trying to open my lock and I yelled, "What do you think you are trying to do?" All three looked at me in shock, horror and fear. And Amanda said, "Your phone was going off so we were trying to get in there to answer in for you." I scowled at them and said, "No one answers my phone but me because I get very privet and personal calls on there and they are NOT for your ears do I make myself clear?" They all nodded and I moved towards the locker and they backed away and I unlocked the locker and my phone started to ring I grabbed in and said, "Hello?" and the reply was loud and familiar, "Dixie! Hi we all miss you already." I shook my head and said, "I miss you all too. I'll call you back in the minute I have to get changed the most funniest thing just happen and I have to tell you all so I'll call you back when I get back to my room." They all yelled, "Bye," down the speaker and I hung up. I turned to the 4 girls who were all staring at me and I said, "What?" Ava said, "You just hung up on the Alfa! Why did you do that? You are going to get in trouble." I sighed and said, "I won't get in trouble because she is my friend first and my Alfa second. So who is in charge of all of you here because it's Sookie at my school and the group of 5 who moved from one school to my school when it closed was Wendell. So who is your little leader?" Ava looked at me and said, "It's Alec. He is in charge I guess." I nodded and got changed into my clothes. I grabbed my lock and my phone. I put my lock in my small bag that I had brought with me. And pressed Sookie's number on speed dial. After 2 rings Sookie picked up and said, "Hello?" and I said, "Hey Sookie. I told you I'd call you back." She yelped in happiness and yelled to everyone else that I was on the phone and she put the phone on speaker and I heard a lot of hello's and hi's come through the phone. And I said, "One sec I need to ask someone something a sec." I put my hand over the speaking part of the phone and said to Ava, "Can you take me to the seats around the field I want to watch them train until they finish?" She nodded and she headed towards the field. And we sat down Ava and Amanda to my right and Loralie and Jennifer to my left and I said into my phone "Right, I'm back." Then I heard my favourite voice in the world - Hunters "Hey Dixie, so what was so funny that you wanted to tell us? We are all really excited now." I said "Well....." and I told them what had happen when I had first met the 4 girls and when I had done a surprise attack on the 6 boys. When I was finished I heard them all laugh and then I saw that the 6 wolves weren't on the field anymore but they were in there guy form. The one that was leading the others was shorter than the others with a bronze coloured hear that looked a little un-brushed but in away styled to look the way it did. There were 6 others that followed him and I assumed the blonde behind him who was a bit taller than him was not one of the wolves but the Lion that had been running around watching them. I was still talking to my friends back at my school when they reached us the four girls got up and headed to the wolves and Ava went straight to the one at the front and they all looked at me and the shorter one said, "Who do you think you are to come and interrupt our training, Girl?" he said the word Girl as an insult and I said into my phone, "I have to go now. Those Guys I told you that I kicked ass are here and the short one has a major attitude problem. So I'll call you later bye, Sookie. And I hope you have a nice time watching that movie tonight. I miss you all." and I hung up and turned in my seat and looked at the short Bronze haired one and said, "I'm Wyne-Dixie Star. Who are you?" and I looked at him and out stretched my hand in a polite gesture and he looked at it in disgust and said, "I'm Alec. Who do you think you are to interrupt our training?" I looked at him and sighed and said, "I'm your future Beta and my best friend, Sookie, who I was just on the phone to, is your future Alfa." All the Guys started to laugh. I stood up and said, "Is there something funny that I don't know about?" and Alec said, "Yes, 2 girls are going to lead a whole pack." They all started to laugh again. And I shook my head and said, "I don't think that is funny. But I see you have been raised in a world where Guys have power over girls. Obviously, you didn't hear about the women's right thing about 50 years or more ago. But I do believe my father and my mother know all of your parents." That stopped them from laughing and the blonde one stepped out from behind Alec and said, "I'm Alex. I'm not one of your future pack and you are rude to talk about Alec's parents since his father went missing not long ago." I shook my head and said, "I'm not being rude at all, Alex, because, you see, both my parents went missing in that mission so I'm just being perfectly nice." Ava stepped away from Alec and towards me and Alec grabbed her arm and said, "What are you doing, Ava?" She yanked her arm from his grasp and walked towards me and whispered to me, "I'm so sorry about your parents." I looked down at her and said, "Don't be sorry, you did nothing to be sorry about. I could have stopped them but I was too late and so it is my fault they are all missing."Alec looked at me and narrowed his eyes. I checked the time on my phone and said, "Oh look, it's time for dinner. If you'll excuse me I have to go and see your headmaster before I go to dinner." I walked towards the group of boys and the 3 girls and turned to look at Ava and said, "Ava, could you show me the way to your Headmasters office please?" She looked at me and I smiled a reassuring smile and her eyes brightened and she nodded and said, "Yes, of course I'll show you follow me." I nodded for her to go first and she did and I said, "Goodbye" to the others over my shoulder. A huge grim spread across my face as me and Ava headed towards the head teachers office. Once we got to the office with 'Headmistress L Lingword' on it Ava stopped and said, "Here it is. I better go and get ready for dinner and see if Alec hates me or not. So, I'll see you later bye." and I said, "Thank you, Ava, and bye." She nodded and walked back the way we came. I knocked on the door and an young voice came from inside, "Come in." so I opened the door and walked in and sat in one of the guest chairs. I waited for the woman to finish her page on the book and put the bookmark in. She finally said, "How can I help you?" I looked at her and said, "I'm Wyne-Dixie Star. I was told to come to your office right before dinner to talk to you." She gawked at me and said, "Your Wyne-Dixie. Sorry it's really nice to meet you. I have postponed Dinner today so that I could introduce you formally to the school. Do you have an evening dress?" I nodded and she said, "Well, you're going to need it for dinner every night here. We have a formal dress code for dinner. So, the students have been notified that dinner has been postponed. So I'll walk you back to your room so you can change and then I'll walk you through what we are going to do. If it's okay with you?" I looked at her and said "Um, it's okay with me but you might want to postpone the dinner a bit longer than half an hour. Maybe an hour and a half. If that's okay with you?" she opened a small book and said "Yes that will be fine. So let's take you back to your room. It's in the shape-shifters dorm right?" I nodded and she stood up and I stood up right behind her and we walked out of the room towards the Shape-Shifters dorm.
Once we got to the dorm and walked inside, the lounge was full of students talking about the postponing of dinner. When we walked in everyone turned to stare at us. I walked to the stairs and the headmistress said, "I'll wait here for you, Wyne-Dixie." I nodded and ran up the stairs. I reached my room, unlocked the door and walked in. I went straight to the small wardrobe and opened it and picked out my light blue evening dress, it was long enough to just go bellow my knees (and I'm pretty tall), the straps lay just below my shoulders, the neckline was in the perfect v shape. I went to the door and grabbed my favourite pair of light blue evening shoes they were small high heels (I don't walk well in high heels). I went over to the mirror over the small desk at one side of the room where I had put my make-up bag and put on my make-up. Once I was done I stepped back to look at myself in the mirror (I swear I looked like one of those run away models), I nodded and grabbed my small light blue handbag and realised I hadn't put on the necklace Hunter had bought me for my birthday. So I walked back to the table and looked in my small jewellery box and found it I put it on. And did my hair which I had forgotten to do as well, I decided to let it light lose with a 2 small plats starting at the form and ending at the back of my head and then the rest of the hair below the hair band lay loose. I stepped back again and nodded. I pick up my handbag from the table and cheeked to see if I had my phone, room key and my picture off all my friends, they were all in there and I walked to the door and opened it turned off the light and locked the door and walked down stairs. Once I reached the bottom everyone turned to look at me and I blushed a light pink. And walked over to the headmistress and she said, "You look like a runaway model, you know!" I looked up at her and said, "That's what my boyfriend Hunter says. He also says I'm too tempting for my own good. But I can handle myself." I smiled up at her and she smiled back at me and we walked out of the dorm.
When we reached the Dining hall, it looked exactly the same as the one back home. The teacher stopped and said, "I'm going to start the dinner the same as always by talking to the school about upcoming events and then I'm going to introduce you. You will be waiting in a small room with my assistant with you while all the students take their seats for dinner. Then once they are seated you will come out and wait outside those doors," she pointed to the large double doors we had entered through and carried on, "There will be two men standing on the inside of the doors and when I introduce you they will open the doors and you will walk along the middle ale and up to the teachers platform to stand with me and then you will sit with me at my table for tonight and then you will sit at the head of the Shape-Shifters table opposite Alec, have you had the chance to meet Alec yet?" I nodded and said, "Yes, I have met all the wolves here but only know a few by name." she nodded and said, "Oh look at the time, my assistant will show you to the small room. I'll see you later, Dixie." She bowed to me formally and walked away. And I followed the assistant to the small room. When I heard voices and shuffling of feet I opened the door a crack and peered through to see a bunch of Shape-Shifters walking into the hall. They we're all dressed elegantly but they didn't look like run away models. When I saw the other wolves I smiled as I saw that Alec didn't hate Ava. And I turned closed the door and said to the assistant, "Do the Shape-Shifters go in first or last?" she looked at me and I could tell she was a Fairy and she said, "They go in last. Why have they just gone past?" I nodded and she walked around me to the door and opened it the big double doors were shut and she ushered me out and said, "You wait here until they open the doors. I'm going to take my seat." I nodded and she went in the small door right next to the large double doors. It wasn't long till the double doors opened and the headmistress said, "I know present to you Wyne-Dixie Star, she is a member of the wolf pack and she is going to be Sookie Stackhouse's Beta," I walked in down the very long ale. As she was talking, "Unfortunately, Sookie couldn't be here so, Wyne-Dixie came instead. I wish that you will all welcome her here, during her stay." I reached her at the top and I nodded to her and she bowed formally and she said, "We will be having a ball after dinner in dedication of Wyne-Dixie's arrival. I expect at least all the male wolves to dance one dance with your Future Beta." I looked up at her in horror (Dance with Alec my ass.). She continued and said, "That will be all you may eat know." She showed me to her table and we sat down. The food didn't look very appetising so I only ate a little. When dinner was over another set of double doors opened but this time to our left. All the students' filed in and left a pathway for me and the headmistress. We walked in and she stood me in the middle of the dance floor and said, "Please may one of the wolves step forward to take the first dance with Wyne-Dixie." Only one of the boys stepped forward he was maybe a few inches taller than me and he had the perfect blue eyed blonde haired combo (He could have been Sky's twin) and he was very handsome (But I don't like guys who are handsome, they always break your heart.). And the headmistress said, "Thank you, Timothy." He nodded and walked towards me and he placed a hand on my waist and my eyes widened in horror and disbelief. And then he took my other hand in his and I placed my hand on his shoulder and the music started (Oh great, it was old fashioned dancing. Don't get me wrong we had to take it back at my school so I was pretty good but the music was so boring.). We started whirling around the dance floor and everyone stared at us and it looked like they were amazed at how well we could dance, as if they thought I wouldn't be able to dance like this, I snorted. Most of the other wolves had joined us know. I saw Ava dancing with Alec, I caught her eye I winked at her and smiled and she smiled back at me. I turned back to look at Timothy and I said, "So, how do you feel about having 2 females run the pack?" and he looked at me and smiled and said, "I don't mind and you a surprisingly good dance, you know?" I smiled and blushed and said, "We have to take dance classes, so just in case we get invited to see a King or Queen of any sort. I have already met the King of Shape-Shifters twin niece and nephew and there cousin who is not royal, they go to my school." He looked at me in disbelief and I said, "I don't lie, there is not point since I can't lie to Sookie because of two reasons, 1) she is the Alfa and 2) she can read my mind. So there is no point." I shrugged and he looked at me and said, "You're very pretty, you know?" I blushed and my smile widened and said, "If my boyfriend heard you say that he would probably have pulled you out of this room by know and would be beating you to a pulp. Don't worry it's not personal he just doesn't like it when guys compliment me on my looks, because he is a jealous fool and he believes my looks are a course. He is very superstitious." I giggled and he laughed with me. Then the song ended and he spun me around and all of a sudden I was dancing with another wolf this one had blonde hair and green eyes, he had the same hair style as Alec although he was quite a bit taller than him. And I said, "So, which one are you?" I smiled at him and he said, "I'm Mitchell, you're a good dancer by the way." and I said, "Thank you." He said, "I'm Alec's second in command if you'd like to call it that." He smiled and I smiled back and the song was over and he spun me around and I was with another wolf who had beautiful Ginger hair and I smiled at him and I said, "So, what's your name then?" He smiled at me and said, "I'm Deon. And I don't mind 2 girls running the pack." I smiled and nodded and my phone went off and I stopped and he said, "Are you ok?" I said, "Yeah, I'm fine. I just have to see who is trying to call me. Hold on." and I opened my bag and looked at my phone and it was Sookie. And Deon said, "So who is it?" I looked up at him and said "It's Sookie. She wouldn't call unless it was an emergency, because it's almost curfew. Hold on I'll answer it." I answered and realised we were standing in the middle of the dance floor. And I said, "Hey, Sookie." She answered almost instantly in a frantic voice "Dixie, you have to get back know Hunter and Quinn have gone missing!" I yelled, "What!?" and everyone looked and me and Sookie said "You have to get back here as soon as possible." and I said, "Ok, I'm going to get my stuff and ask the school for a car now. Okay, I'm coming as fast as I can." and I hung up and put my phone away and in one movement I took of my heels and I was running towards the door and I heard the sound of running coming behind me and people calling, "Dixie, Slow down." I just kept running and somehow I found the Dorm I slammed the doors open so hard they almost came off their hinges. And I ran up the stairs and ran to my room and I grabbed my key and unlocked my door I ran in without closing my door and ran to the bed grabbed the 2 suitcases out from under the bed and placed them on the bed, ran to the closet and grabbed all my clothes put them in the suitcase and then grabbed all my shoes grabbed my trainers and put them next to the clothes I had worn today and walked to the door and closed it and changed. When I was changed I put all my evening stuff in the suitcase and placed my handbag on the floor. I went to the Desk grabbed all the stuff there put it in the other suitcase and grabbed the stuff on the night stand and the bathroom and put them in the other suitcase I zipped up the suitcases and pulled them to the floor by the handles they made a loud bang against the floor and I grabbed my had bag slung it over my shoulder and grabbed the handles of my suitcases and ran towards the door and pulled it open with all my strength. All the wolves were standing there in the door way (In my way) and I yelled, "Get out of my way KNOW!" They all moved but Alec and he said, "Where are you going?" and I yelled "Home! I have to help Sookie go and find Hunter and Quinn. They are missing. Hunter is my boyfriend, I have to find him." I stopped because I was out of breath and I ran towards him with both my suitcases and my handbag and he moved out of my way and I ran down the stairs. To find that the headmistress was there I ran towards her and said, "I need a car. I have to go back to my school know please." I was on the verge of crying. She nodded and pulled out her mobile and dialled some numbers and said, "We need a car know please out the front of the Dorms please." Then I was losing my patients and I said "Hurry." and she patted me on the shoulder and the other wolves came down the stairs and headed towards me and either Paul or Torreon stepped forward and said, "I'm Torreon and we have volunteered to help you search for Hunter and Quinn. It would be good practice for us to get used to working together." I turned to look at them, my face must have been red (thank god I wore water proof make-up) because all of the girls gasped. And I said, "Fine, come but don't go any were near Sookie am I clear? If any of you stuff this up I will kill you all am I clear?" They all nodded and I turned to the headmistress and she said "The car is on its way round." I nodded and ran out the door with both my suitcases and my hand bag. Somehow Deon and Torreon caught up with me and grabbed my suitcases. We all stoped as the car came zooming towards us the others took a step away and I stood there and the car stopped inches away from me and I was in mission. I grabbed my suitcases from Deon and Torreon and put them in the boot of the car and the others got in the car as fast as they could Alec and Ava sat in the front. Amanda sat next to Mitchell and Jennifer next to Torreon and Loralie next to Deon. I sat in-between Timothy and Paul. I pulled my knees up to my chest and rapped my arms around them and put my head on my knees and cried whilst Paul and Timothy patted my back.
I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I knew Timothy was walking me up saying we were here. I jumped and unbuckled my seatbelt and pushed past Paul, who looked slightly annoyed, and jumped out of the car and into Sookie's waiting arms. We stood there hugging and crying for a while and then I pulled away and whipped my eyes and said, "I kind of brought reinforcements but I told them that they will all be on my half of the mission and our lot on your half." She nodded and said, "So, we can get used to working with them? Was this your idea or there's?" I looked at her and said, "It was Torreon's, I think." She nodded and I said "You lot can get out of the car know." They all climbed out of the car and stood there but Timothy moved to the boot of the car and grabbed my bags and pulled them out and I said, "Thanks, Timothy." He nodded to me. Once they were all in a line I stepped aside so they could see Sookie and she could see them. They all bowed a formal bow, and then straightened up. And Sookie said, "Right, we are going to follow the sent as far as we can. We will be able to catch up with them because we have Dixie." I nodded and she continued and said, "Dixie, you will be in charge of the Little Hampton group and I will be in charge of the Torrance group. If anyone has any objections speak know!" Alec spoke up, (Stupid, Stupid boy.) "Why can't I be in charge of the Little Hampton group?" Sookie growled and said, "Because you don't know Hunter's or Quinn's sent well enough that is why I have just changed my mind we will mix the groups because Luna can't go." and that snapped me in to focus and I said, "Is she ok? The baby....?" Sookie said, "They are fine but she can't go in her condition." I nodded and said, "You should take Sky, Wendell, Rory, Loralie, Deon, Jennifer, Torreon and Paul." She nodded and I said, "That leaves me with Winfred, Rosaria, Warren, Ava, Alec, Amanda, Mitchell and Timothy." She nodded again and turned towards everyone else and said, "Are these groupings okay with everyone?" Everyone nodded and I moved to one side and Sookie to the other and Sookie said "Sky, Wendell, Rory, Loralie, Deon, Jennifer, Torreon and Paul with me please." They walked over to her and I said, "Winfred, Rosaria, Warren, Ava, Alec, Amanda, Mitchell and Timothy with me please." They walked over to me and I said, "Stay here. I'm going to go see what Sookie's plan is." and I walked over to Sookie and said "So what's the plan?" She looked at me and said, "You and your group will go first since you're the fastest and then we will follow. We are going to head towards the Ship yard." I looked at her questioningly and said "Why the ship yard?" and she said, "Cause they said they have gone to join the Navy." I yelled, "What?!" She nodded and I ran back to my group and said, "We are going first we are running towards the Ship yard." They all nodded and I looked at Sookie who was letting the wolves from Little Hampton smell the letter Quinn left for her and then I remembered Hunter had given me a letter before I left and I opened my handbag and pulled out the letter but I didn't open it and I said to the wolves from Little Hampton, "This should have Hunters sent on it." They nodded and sniffed the paper. And then they nodded again. And I said, "Is everyone ready?" They all nodded and we all changed into wolves and started running in the direction of the ship yard.
Once we were outside the school grounds I caught Hunters sent and followed it. The others followed once they caught the scent. I saw a car up a head so I headed into the woods at the edge of the road and ran along the very edge of the woods. I relived very quickly that the car belonged to the school. I gasped and ran at full pelt to see who was in the car. I looked through the window; from where I was running it looked like Hunter and Quinn. So I ran at my full speed and ran a bit in from of them and then I ran into the middle of the road. It seemed like everything and everyone I loved flashed before my eyes. The car came at me at reality speed it wasn't like the slow motion from the films and it hit me and I heard the breaks stop as soon as it could. I heard the openings of doors and the shouts of people; I heard the growls and whines of wolves. Under the stress I must have changed back because I heard a loud roar of anger then a loud smash of something nearby. I could only see the 2 figures running towards me and I turned my head in the other direction to see 18 other figures running towards me. The hairs of the people were like blonde, brown and ginger fire. And then everything went black and I heard nothing......
When I started to wake up I didn't open my eyes but I heard a familiar voice saying, "Wyne-Dixie?" Then it said, "Wyne-Dixie can you hear me?" I groaned and whispered, "Don't call me that." I opened my eyes and I saw Hunter crouched over me and he sighed. I grabbed his arm with all my strength and said, "You are not going to leave me again. I repeat NOT." He laughed and said, "I wouldn't dream of it." He kissed me on my forehead and I winced and he pulled away quickly and said "Did I hurt you?" I shook my head and screamed out in pain. And a group of people ran to my side and I said, "Who was driving?" and Quinn stepped into my sight of view and said in a small voice "I was driving." I said "You ran me over, don't you know never to run down a wolf!?" He said "I'm so sorry, Dixie, I didn't see you till it was too late." His eyes were full of sorrow. And I shrugged and that was extremely painful and I said, "Accelerant I have super wolf healing." Everyone laughed.
