I broke up with my long term girlfriend, Y/ N. A few months ago. It was about 6 months ago when we broke up. We've been together for about 4 years and share a 2 year old son called Changhoon. I still see him and have him on weekends. He's my world and means everything to me. I don't know what I'd do without my son. I wanted to marry Y/ N when she was pregnant with him but she wasn't ready. We had a huge fight one night and I said i was ready to marry her soon but she started yelling at me and calling me names. It really hurt me so I walked out. I'm glad I still get to see my son and take him out and spend time with him. I'd be even more hurt if Y/ N never let me see Changhoon again. I'm so glad I can see my son and still he his dad. I think about Y/ N all the time and wish we were still together raising our son. That's all I want but I don't think she'll listen to me and forgive me. Today I'm going to take Changhoon out to the park. He loves going to the park. I have him for the weekend and can't wait. I get him on Saturday mornings and drop him off Sunday evening. Sometimes I get him Friday evenings if Y/ N is working. I am on my way to pick up my boy now. Can't wait to see him and take him to the park for some fun. I arrived soon at Y/ N's apartment and walk out one flight of stairs and then knock on the door. "Hi. He's all ready" Y/ N said. "Hello" I reply. "Appa" Changhoon exclaims running to me. "Hi, son. So good to see you, my boy" I say. Y/ N gives me Changhoon's bag. "He'll be back tomorrow" I say. "Have fun with Appa, Hoonie" she said. He waves to her. I hold his hand as we walk out the door. "So we are going to the park first to have some fun" I say. "Yay! Ice cream" Changhoon says. "You can get ice cream" I smile. I take Changhoon to the park for the afternoon and he had so much fun and we both had ice cream
It's Sunday evening and I am taking Changhoon back to his moms. Y/ N is expecting him soon so I better not be late with him. I also want to have a little chat to her about things. I don't know if she'll have the time to listen though. Maybe it's worth a shot. Changhoon is almost asleep in the back of my car. Bless him. He gets tired at this time. Soon we arrive at Y/ N's place and I carry him in. I have my sleepy boy in my arms. I knock on the door and she answers a minute later. "Hello" I say. "Hello" she said. "He's kinda asleep" I say. "No problem" Y/ N said taking Changhoon from me. I wait by the door as she lays him on the couch. "Y/ N, before I go can we talk" I say. "Okay but not for too long. I have to get Changhoon to bed soon" she replies. "Okay it won't be" I reply. I think what to say for a moment. "Look, Y/ N. I really miss you. I miss us being together with our son. You are the best mom to our boy" I say. "Thanks, Hyunwoo. You are the best dad in the world to him" Y/ N replies. "My life isn't the same without you, Y/ N. I really miss you. I don't know why we broke up" I say. "Yeah I know but I think it was for the better" she said. "Y/ N, how can you say that. I miss you so much. I don't want Changhoon to grow up without two parents who love each other" I say. "I know, Hyunwoo. I don't want him to either. I know it's not good" she replies. "Y/ N, I can tell you're happy without me" I say. "I never said that" she said. "Sorry. I just want us to be a happy family again. I love you and Changhoon so much" I say. Y/ N goes all silent on me for a few minutes. "Okay, Hyunwoo. Maybe we can move on. I know you didn't do anything bad and you're a great father. Okay we can be one happy family again. Changhoon will be so happy" Y/ N says. "Are you sure? Really?" I reply. "Yes I'm ready to get back together" she said. I pull her in and kiss her. She welcomes me in and we snuggle up with Changhoon. I'm the happiest man in the world that Y/ N has forgiven me and we are now back together as one happy family
Y/ N's POV
Hyunwoo and I have been back together for the last few months now and it feels amazing to be back together. I'm very glad I forgive him and we are back together for our little boy who needs us both together. Hyunwoo is the best daddy to our son Changhoon. I couldn't ask for a better one. We got engaged a few weeks ago when we went out for Valentine's Day dinner. Hyunwoo got down on one knee and popped the question to me and I couldn't resist. We are getting married but we don't know when. We'll have to figure that out but maybe soon or maybe it will be a while. We have taken Changhoon to the park for the day. It's his favourite place to go and have fun. He's a playful little boy and he loves having fun. Especially in the park. He is playing there now and letting off steam. Hyunwoo goes and plays with him and I watch my boys together. "Appa, swings" Changhoon said. "Okay, son. Appa can take you on the swings" he replies. Hyunwoo lifts Changhoon up on the swing and pushes him for a while. I watch them play and have fun. Changhoon is laughing and smiling away. "More, Appa. More" he said. "Okay, Hoonie" Hyunwoo said. He pushes Changhoon more till he's had enough. "Ice cream" Changhoon said. "Sure let's go and get ice cream" I say. "Absolutely. It's your favourite" Hyunwoo said. We join the line at the ice cream place and decided what we want. Changhoon is a chocolate monster so he goes for chocolate. Me strawberry and Hyunwoo, mint chocolate chip. We all get our ice creams and sit on a bench and eat. "Is it delicious, Changhoon" Hyunwoo asks. "Yes amazing" he replies with chocolate ice cream all over his mouth. I had to wipe it off him. Haha. We take another walk around the park with Changhoon. We both hold his hands and swing him. He enjoys that. Awww. We had a great day in the park with our boy. We are now happily back together and engaged
Hyunwoo and I got married a few months later in California. We just got married and we are still there. I am 5 months pregnant with our second baby. Just before our wedding, we found out that we are having a another baby boy. We are happy to be having a boy but I would've liked a little girl. There is time in the future though. We are loving being in California and we love being married as well. We've been married for a week. Changhoon is with us of course. It's a kinda honeymoon I guess. We are on the beach today. Well we have been we are leaving now and taking a walk along the pier. Hyunwoo has all the things we brought with us. Changhoon is holding my hand. "Eomma, up" he said. "Well you're getting a big boy now" I reply. "You don't want to hurt your eomma or baby brother, Changhoon" Hyunwoo said. "Okay. Can you, Appa?" he said. Hyunwoo picks him up and carries him across the beach. "He's tired" Hyunwoo said. "He is" I reply. "This was the perfect place to get married" he said. "Yes it certainly is. Best place to get married" I reply. Changhoon fell asleep in a few minutes. We walked along the pier with him in Hyunwoo's arms. We sit down on a bench to take a rest. "I don't want to go back home but I know we have to as we are having another baby soon" he said. "Yeah I know and I can't wait for baby number two" I reply. "Me too. He will be loved just like his brother" Hyunwoo replies kissing my cheek. We had a perfect wedding and honeymoon in California. A few months later we were parents again to our second son. We have two beautiful boys now. You never would think we briefly split up. Hyunwoo is the love of my life
A/ N: I really liked this one. The idea of having a son only came into idea yesterday. Glad I did it like that. Shownu is one of the best leaders in kpop. I used his real name Hyunwoo. I actually never call him that though so I don't know why. He's awesome though and is so handsome
