2 months later..
I woke up out of my sleep and yawned a little..its been about 3months since I last heard from Kendal and I refuse to ever speak to him again. I am officially done with relationships for good! Why should I have to keep dealing with heartbreak after heartbreak? I'm done!. I was staying with my brother Jarvis..but it's only until I find an apartment and I've been searching hella' hard...its barely anything out there. I work at a hair salon owned by my best friend Angel not too far from where Jarvis lives. I got up out of bed and walked across the hall to the bathroom, I took my usual morning shower, brushed my teeth and got dressed for work. I unwrapped my mid length hair and sprayed some oil sheen onto it. I walked downstairs into the kitchen and saw Jarvis and his best friend Jeremy sitting at the kitchen island.
I smacked Jarvis's neck and kissed his cheek. "Morning big bro, Wassup Jeremy"
"Wassup beautiful" Jeremy winked at me.
"Mmhh keep flirting with my sister and imma beat that ass." Jarvis spoke jokingly but also being serious
I laughed a little and grabbed a green apple out the refrigerator. Jarvis didn't have a problem with guys flirting with me until my 2nd boyfriend Zane broke my heart.. Ever since then he's always been quick to fight any nigga who decides to flirt with me or even look my way. My first boyfriend Damarcus was shot and killed, then it was Zane who was abusive and always cheating then it was Kendal who cheated on me and now I'm single . Jarvis hated all my boyfriends except Demarcus..he was actually the only guy who didn't break my heart.
"Drive us to the gym Dani" Jarvis demanded.
"Nigga what's wrong with your car?" I asked.
"We'll be done at 4 today, you get off at 4 so you should just drop us off and pick us up.." He grabbed his beats headphones.
".....Be in my car in 5 minutes" I rolled my eyes.
The ride to the gym was pretty quiet, well I was quiet the boys wouldn't shut up, always yelling and shit. When I pulled up to the gym Jarvis gave me a hug and got out the car along with Jeremy. As I was pulling out the parking lot, a black Mercedes Benz came speeding in almost hitting me head on.
"What the hell?!" I yelled slamming on breaks
Whoever was driving the car had some dark ass window tint, I rolled my eyes and started driving to work, when I got there it was around 9:30am and my first appointment wasn't until 10:00am.
"Hey Dani!" My best friend Angel said hugging me
Angel was a very hyper guy, he was also gay and we've been friends since sophomore year in highschool. He's the owner of this salon too. He's always been there for me, I even had to bail him out when he stabbed my ex Zane when he hit me..Don't worry though Zane is still alive ..he just lost of blood but he survived.
"Hey boo" I kissed his cheek
"Last night me and Fabian had a fight....but it didn't matter because I made him forget about it before he left for work." He smirked.
I loved my best friend but some times he could be annoying sharing this sex life with me all the damn time but I loved him no matter what. My client walked in and took a seat. She was somewhat apart of thee clique we had, her name was Tianna..but her and Angel were never really that close. Deep down I don't think Angel liked her at all and sometimes I don't think Tianna liked him at all but sometimes they could be okay together.
"So you going with your brother to the pro bowl game tomorrow?" Angel asked me.
"More than likely yes I will. Why? You wanna come with me?" I asked already knowing he did.
"Yes girl you already know I do !" Angel yelled
"Well I'll come too." Tianna said.
"I bet ya ole annoying ass will." Angel mumbled but spoke loud enough for her to hear.
"What'd you say?" She asked with her eyebrow raised
"No need to repeat it, I know you heard me!" Angel rolled his eyes
Tianna glared at Angel as if she wanted to say something but she didn't know if that'd be the right move or not. Angel wasn't even from New York his ass was from Puerto Rico, he moved here when he was 16 and trust me this nigga plays no games. Tianna was crazy but she wasn't stupid, fighting and arguing with Angel was like pouring gasoline onto a house fire.
"..You know what, Danielle call me later...I forgot I had plans tomorrow." Tianna gathered her stuff.
"Tianna! Really?" I said sighing
"Nah let her go girl.." Angel said turning back to the sew in he was doing.
Tianna stormed out the salon doors and my head snapped over to Angel who was humming the words to a Babyface song like nothing just happened.
"Angel...why are you so mean to her?" I asked
"Girl I been telling you since 9th grade that hoe was fake, I don't trust her and you shouldn't either" he said shrugging
"No! You just don't like anybody trying to come up and be my friend." I laughed
"Shit, damn right! You was mines first!" We both laughed.
I didn't have another client for another hour, so I was just sitting there chilling. I was scrolling through Instagram when. I got all these likes at once on my picture, I went to my notifications and instantly started to laugh my ass off. Everybody my brother was friends with liked my picture at once, I swear Javaris and his friends are so goofy at times ! My next appointment came in taking me away from my phone.
Since Angel was coming to the football game with me tomorrow I told him to just stay the night with me. Once we closed up the shop for the night I headed over to the gym to get Jarvis while Angel headed home to get some clothes. When I got to the gym everybody was still insude, ugh I'm ready to go home and eat !! I told his ass to just drive his own car to the gym. I parked my camaro and walked inside the gym
"Hey Danielle" Jeremy smiled at me.
"Hey, where Jarvis?" I smiled.
Jeremy pointed over to the bench pressing area and started lifting weights. I walked over to my brother and watched him lift all these damn weights, I swear I would die if I had to lift that much!!!
"Wassup Dani" Jarvis pushed my head
"Hey big bro" I mushed him back
"Imma go get my stuff,I'll meet you at your car" he walked away
As i was walking out I heard yelling coming from the other side of the gym, I was curious so I walked to see what the commotion was all about a tall light skin guy with dirty blonde on the tips of his somewhat curly mowhawk..he was gorgeous. I kinda eyed him up and down staring at his muscular body, with tattoos covering his arms and chest...yes hunny. I snapped out of it and headed out the gym before Jarvis would come and see me staring at him and snap.
I walked out to my car and sat there forever, just waiting for Jarvis. Damn what was talking him so long. I rolled my window down letting the cool breeze come through my car..
I saw that gorgeous ass guy who was lifting weights earlier unlocking his car and placing his duffle bag in his trunk. Wait THATS THE SAME NIGGA WHO ALMOST HIT ME THIS MORNING!!! I swear he must've been reading my mind because he spoke before I could.
"Hey! ..umm I'm sorry about this morning, I was running late and I didn't notice how fast I was going." He approached my car.
"Its fine..don't even worry about it."
He nodded his head."I'm Odell...you are?" He held his hand out.
Before I could even speak Jarvis's black ass came up and smacked his hand away.
"My little sister...get in the passenger seat, I'll drive,"
"But I was tal.." Jarvis cut me off
"GET IN THE DAMN PASSENGER SEAT !!!" Jarvis yelled in my face...
I glared at him and rolled the window up, I got in the passenger seat and watched Jarvis turn back to Odell. Jarvis said a few words then Odell laughed and shook his head no. Jarvis said something else and pointed towards me. Odell laughed again and shook his head again. They did a little handshake and went their seperate ways. When Jarvis got in the car I didn't say anything. I understand he's over protective but sometimes I'm like DAMN NIGGA !!! Its not even that serious he was just saying hi.

Before she could even reply Jarvis's black ass came up and smacked my hand away from her hand.
"My little sister...get in the passenger seat, I'll drive," he said to the girl
"But I was tal.." Jarvis cut her off
"GET IN THE DAMN PASSENGER SEAT !!!" Jarvis yelled in her face...
I could tell by the look on her face she wanted to say something back to him but to avoid conflict she ignored him and got in the passenger like he said.
"That's my baby sister, we been like brothers for awhile but Danielle is off limits" Jarvis said angrily
"Jarvis chill the hell out! I was just apologizing for this morning, we had a little run in" I explained
"Mmhh..well i mean what I said..stay away from my sister"
I sighed "JARVIS! Chill bro..I ain't trying to get with her or anything..chill, me and Jeremy still coming to ya house tomorrow after my game..you still coming right?" I asked
"Yes nigga you know me and Jeremy gon be at the game. Dani and her friend De'Angelo coming too" he said before getting in the car.
I nodded my head and got in my car. Damn, Jarvis was over protective as hell over his sister, she was beautiful believe me, she was no where near ugly.... Me and Jarvis were roommates in college and we've been close ever since, only reason I never met his sister was because she lived with their dad in Compton, California and we lived in Baton Rouge Louisiana.. She never really got to visit. I left the gym parking lot and headed home, tomorrow was the Pro Bowl and of course my Royal Familia was gonna be there to support me..for those of you who don't know, my Royal Familia is Jarvis & Jeremy its a couple other ones but they the main ones. When I got home the house was silent like always...I had a 3 bedroom house, 2 bathrooms, a game room, in ground pool, a sauna, and a big ass basketball court out back.. Soumds beautiful right? Well it is and I love it.,it just sucks when you have nobody to share it with. Sometimes my boys will come over, sometimes my little sister will come over but other than that its just me and my single ass. After taking a shpwer , I ate dinner and fell asleep watching Boyz in the hood
