Nothing changed for a certain Raizada. He been found in Lakshmi Nagar sitting in a car parked in Darkness staring at Buaji House. He watched her many time packing, saw her counting sarees,watching stars, enjoying tea, having fun with Payal . It became a routine for Arnav to go to Lakshmi Nagar because smile on her face gave him so much of peace.
Arnav doesn't know why but he can't do without seeing her .But today he couldn't .He looked through all the windows he used to see her .She was a no show today .Arnav couldn't sleep that night. What happen to her? Is she ok? The worry was eating him. He hoped to see her next day. But he was not lucky .so when he didn't see her for 2 days he was so restless that it forced him to leave his office and come to Lakshmi Nagar as he couldn't wait till night to see her.
Arnav parked his car near happy's garage and got down .That's when he noticed Shyam ,his juju leaving Buaji house and Guptas bidding a happy good bye.
What was he doing here? How come he have such an easy relationship with them?
As if answer to his question, he heard a lady's voice
"Happyji when is our Khushi getting engaged to Shyam babu. Madhu didn't say anything about it later or did they get engaged without anybody's knowledge.
"Vimalaji app bhi na, MadhuJi will surly tell all of us if they got engaged, you know how she is."
"Yah, You are right.She wont be able to keep such a news.She must have already distributed sweets in the whole Lakshmi Nagar.Workers in happy 's garage mocked Buaji's outrageous ways.
ASR felt the tsunami of emotions. How dare she think of being someone else. How could she agree to marry someone else.All the thoughts of Khushi's well being flew away and the jealousy that she was getting engaged and the betrayal that engagement was with non-other than his jijaji made him boil in anger. How dare she betray my Di? How dare they play with my di's life. I will destroy you Kushi. That's was the only thought left in him.
Arnav entered Santhivan with the fire emitting from him. Anybody can say he will give Mount Vesuvius a competition with his Anger. It's like DARE TO TOUCH HIM, YOU WILL BE ASH.
Raizada ladies saw him entering the hall. Anjali couldn't help but to ask her chotte what made him so angry.
HIS DI, his mother like sister was betrayed. Khushi dared to play with her life. She touched the dangerous territory of Arnav's life and she will pay.
"Where is Jijaji?"
"He went for work ,will be back by Afternoon"
Arnav nodded. He was sure it must be Khushi who is behind this. She must have lured his jijaji .He Knows how much his Jijaji loves his Di, and how much His di loves him. (The sight of a happy Shyam bidding Guptas didn't occur to ASR who was blinded by anger and the betrayal or what he thought of) .Kushi betrayed the family who loved her. so the first step to her destruction is her insult right in front of his family. Unknown to the fact that he was causing problems to not only his only chance of happiness but also his brothers love life too.
"Di ,call Ms.Gupta and ask her to come here . You are sure Jijaji will be back by Afternoon ,Isn't it?"
"Yah, he will be most likely be back in an Hour."
"Ok then call her and ask her to come here, no excuses"
"Why chotte. Seeing your anger it won't do any good to that poor girl. You will unnecessarily took your anger out on her" Nani who was listening till now couldn't help but to wonder why her grandson wants to see her khushi bitiya.
"Poor, she is anything but poor. She is nothing but a characterless gold digger even luring married men.Do you get that nani."
"Stop it chote. It's okay if you don't like her but you can't degrade someone's character like this "Anjali didn't back down from showing her displeasure.
His di, who that girl is betraying is now fighting with him for that characterless girl and all the anger came back.
"Hoo yah, let me enlighten you .Your Khushiji is getting engaged(Arnav didn't miss the joy in Anjali's face which turned to shock with next sentence)And you want to know who she is getting engaged to...your husband..
"What" all the ladies exclaimed at the same time
"Yes I heard it myself from one of her neighbor and saw jijaji in her house too today"
"Bitwa you may have misheard anything or misunderstood"
"No nani ,I didn't. As far as I knew Jijaji didn't know khushi much or have seen her to have the kind of relationship that make him go to their house and chat.so why was he there? And why were her neighbors talking about her engagement.You still have contact with her Did she tell you anything about it? And Why will she when her groom is your Damad?"
Anjali was shocked. she remembered a certain paying guest with same name of her husband staying in Khushi's house. Now she was panicked, is this the end of her relationship? Was her fate too like her mom's? No she was certain that she have seen love in Shyam's eyes for her. she was his ranisahiba who even agreed to stay with her family for her sake. He will never betray her.so it must be Khushiji. She must have done something. Now all the love for Khushiji went like magic and loath and anger took front seat.
" Nani ,you remember the name of her PG? why was shyamji staying with them when he have a house here.And why will chotte lie about something like this?"
"I am not saying he is laying bitiya. He must have misunderstood"
"Hello hi bye bye, that chit for a girl betrayed us and is trying to cause problems in our Anjali bitiya's marriage and you are supporting her. Our bitwa heard it himself. Don't forget that sasuma .Do you want the history to repeat .hello hi bye-bye"
That did the work, all the protest ended there. Nothing is more important for her than her grandchildren's happiness especially Anjali's. so she herself took the phone and called buaji house and asked khushi to come santhivan immediately without fail.
She then asked Anjali to call Shyam and to ask him to come. By the time she says this Manorama called Akash and asked him to return immediately without saying why.
Khushi was still not fully well but her temperature was down .so thought to go as nani herself called and asked her to come. Payal offered to accompany her but she refused as Payal was already working more due to her illness as both buaji and Payal has to manage her work.
She took an auto and went to santhivan. Akash reached before her, Shyam was yet to return.
She pressed the bell and waited to get the door open Hp opened it for her and said everybody is in the living room, so she went there.
The moment Arnav saw her
, he roared
"Here she is, come Ms.Gutpa "she could make it that Arnav was angry, not only angry but sarcastic. All the thought of seeing him and capturing his image in her eyes for coming days to pass took a back seat.so she brushed him and asked nani
"You wanted to see me nani?"
But to her surprise it was Anjali who replayed that too in a tone she was unfamiliar of.
"It's not just her but all of us wanted to see you. After all you are hell bent on destroying what I have" she could make many emotions from her sentence Anger, betrayal, loath.
Now khushi was shocked, what's happening here? She was summoned here and has been accused of something she doesn't have any idea about.
"What do you mean Anjaliji?"
"Why did you do that khushi ji, why? After all the respect and love we gave you, you are trying to spoil my life. What has I ever done to you that you cast your evil eye on my married life?"
Now khushi was all the more confused, what the hell is happening here"?
Arnav doesn't hold back "Then what do you expect from girls like her Di .Girls like her are adept in luring men to their doom.Who can do anything for money. But tell me Khushi were you so desperate that you went behind a married man, that too husband of the same women who gave you so much of love?"
Khushi stood rooted. She is been accused of luring shyamji whom she consider as brother. But what hurt her most was Arnav's thoughts about her. Did he think so low of her? Khushi swallowed the lump she felt .Khushi didn't know what to replay and whom to give justification. All her words dried at the throat .Her eyes gave away tears with the pain of accusation.
"You are so correct Arnav bitwa, cheap girls with no morals will do anything for money .what did we now of what she is capable of doing?Mami supported her Arnav bitwa. Accusations were coming from all sides. If Anjali, Arnav and Mamiji accused with words Nani and Akash accused her with their look, the disgust and loath was clearly seen on their face.
"ENOUGH" everybody turned face hearing the voice; there stood the man who was blamed of treachery. Shyam himself. He clearly heard Arnav's and Mami's words.
"What the hell is going on here "
"Oh I will answer you jijaji, we come to know about her outrageous ways of luring men like you. I came to know about how she and her family are planning her engagement with you, a married man and my di's husband."
Shyam turned to Anjali and said
"It's not like what you think rani sahiba"
"Then how is it Shyamji? what did she offer you which I am incapable of that made you forget me. Didn't you stayed in her home as paying guest hiding from us. How did she charm you to make you stay at her home living all the luxuries of Shanthivan."
"How did you know her jijaji? As far as I know you have only met once or twice? How did she manage these things within a short time that made you have an easy banter even with her family? Don't try to lie me, I have seen it myself?"
Shyam rubbed his face with his palms. He felt like pulling his own hair. How did things took such a nasty turn. BUT if it was just about him he would have never thought of giving explanation but now it was a question about Khushi's integrity and character. He will never let anybody do more damage to her especially him and Raizadas who have done so much damage to her already.
"Did any one of you asked Khsuhiji,How did she Know me?I am sure nobody asked that before accusing her."
"How does it matter Damadji?Isn't it true what my Arnav bitwa said?Mamiji questioned.
"Yes I know Khushiji, not from here but from Lucknow. I saved her from something and then we met again in Delhi .she and her family was grateful for my help that made them treat me like a part of them. I stayed with them for a short time because I started craving for the love and care her family especially her buaji bestowed on me .I found a family with them .I found mother's love and care in Buaji's love which I lost with my mother death."
"What a great plan Gupta, you used his weakness to lure him and your whole family is involved in this. Who is your sister aiming at?"Arnav's sprouted nothing but venom. Khusi shut her eyes tightly and clenched her hands into fist to prevent herself from smashing his face.
"What the hell Arnav?"
"Then what jijaji, they used your weakness and forced you get in to relationship with her"
"I am shocked her family is also involved in this" Nani exclaimed loudly.
"No Arnav you are totally twisting the situation like you wish"
"Then tell me. Didn't her family plan your engagement with her "
It's waste to tell something when they are hell bend on believing nothing. Even then he tried.
"For a very short time buaji wanted me and Khushiji to get married as she was not aware of my marital status. It was on the day of sathya Narayan puja, Khushiji came to know about me being Anjali's husband. She didn't know that Anjali's husband was the same man who was staying at their house saying he was an orphan.
"what made you say so Damadji? and what made you hide your marital status? Did Khushi's charm force you to an extent that you forget about all of us especially my Anjali Bitiya "Nani who was silent till now spit out her anger.
That made khushi cry more, what has she ever done to receive this? So much venom for her. She tightlyheld the nearby sofa to prevent herself from falling.
