King was sitting on my lap as we were listening, Luz sighed "Luz" King called "your getting all swoony again" he pointed at her as I laughed a little
"I can't help it, Azura is able to befriend everyone! Even her biggest rival! I wish I had that kind of power" she said hugging the book close on her chest
"Rivals are meant to be annihilated, not befriended... Now keep reading, I've been sucked into your awful fandom" king said
"Okay" Luz nodded as she opens her book "suddenly the door swung open!"
"DING DONG DING, HOOT HOOT!" hooty slams the door open making me jump "The book has come to life, burn it!!!" King yelled
"Hm no it didn't" I said as I patted his head, Luz helped me up as we checked on what was outside
Their was a basket "what.." I mutter as I carried it and Luz closed the door
"Eda you got a package" I said as I placed the basket down on the table "must be from ex boyfriends" I joked
"It looks like a gift basket" Luz said "probably an offering, ahh being the most powerful Witch in the boiling Isles has its perks"
King moves down the blanket revealing a sleeping baby "mm.. fresh meat!" King rubs his hands
"nope we're not eating that" Luz said as she carried me bridal style away "ok you didn't really have to do these kind of stuffs-" I said but got distracted by her beautiful hair
As we sat down we heard Eda mention a name 'Bat queen' which made is more interested as we stood up again to go back to Eda
"Who's the bat queen?" Asked Luz as I follow behind her "she's the wealthiest demon in the boiling Isles! Get in with her and your set for life" Eda responds as she held a shiny coin
"So! We keep this thing alive for a few hours and we get paid? Pftt easy!"
"Our greatest adventure yet!" Luz exclaims "learning about love and life through a child's eyes!"
I stayed quiet for a bit "what she said" I pointed at Luz "not you two, you both have to return the books I checked out from the library"
Eda made her borrowed books appear as me and Luz were able to catch some. It was overall Ten books so we get to carry Five books each
We started to walk slowly out of the door, Eda was whispering something to king but we weren't really able to hear it clearly
"Now let's take a look at this little darling.." Eda took of the whole blanket as the baby stared screaming, a painful scream. It was able to make the house shake
"I take it back maybe we could really use your help!!" Eda yelled as she covered her ears "What? We better head to the library!" Luz yelled "oh and we're not going to come back that quick cuz look at all of these books!! We might take ages! Bye!"
I finished it off by closing the door as we ran

We were walking by the neighborhood, we saw the little girl carrying a large book, Luz almost tripped but was able to catch her balance
And there in front of us, was the library "woah!" Luz looked "wow even on the outside it already looks magical" I said
We walked in carrying the books, we were looking around seeing different kinds of genres
I saw an green aura in front of me as I looked and saw the books flying to the librarian
"Late, Late.." he grabbed on of the books "coffee grass and blood stains? These are Eda's aren't they?"
Luz laughed slightly "that was a crazy Night!." Luz said as the librarian sighed "I'll put them on her tab" he said as he wrote it down
"By the way were closing early for the whaling star meteor shower" he added
"Ohh, what's that if I may ask?" I asked (lawl-) "your in a library, read a book" he said
That hits me 'ok wow- how stupid of me' "We are in a library.. eheh..." I laughed it off "we will read a book!" Luz said as she held my hand as we ran. We walked in more area's, Their were cabinets on the side, their were banners, and more books
I took one book as I scanned it 'way's to cheat in your exam without studying'? how's that even allowed!' I then heard some paper falling as I turned around and saw Luz getting pilled up

we were then at the second floor "flying books in the library? awesome..!" I tried reaching for one, so was Luz but the book just continues to fly around. I felt her left arm wrapped around my waist as we flew with the book Luz was hanging onto. She was squirming around "SHH" some students shushed her sound "sorry..!" Luz apologized
we were checking every single part of the library "this place is amazing!" Luz exclaims as she held my hand "I know! this is way more cooler than the original library's we have at earth" I giggled a bit as I felt Luz's hand moved some hair away on my face "your hair was slightly covering your face" she said with a smile. I didn't know how to react, but my face felt warm "aha.. thanks..!"
"what do you think you're doing?"
we jumped slightly "ah! we've been caught! quick pretend to be a book!" Luz held me close as she positioned herself as a 'bookshelf'. We suddenly heard children's laugh as I looked at Luz "wait.." I mumbled as she also got the idea on what I just noticed
we moved forward and looked at the children's area "we're your friends, and we want to help! said the tin boy with a yelp, Otabin smiled and paced the floor "i've never had real friends before..!""
"I can't believe were actually seeing this" I said "Amity reading to kids?" Luz questions as she pulled us together behind a small bookshelf "come on sit on my lap" she whispered, my face explodes "w-what??" I asked as she pulled me down to sit on her lap. I covered my mouth 'oh my gosh oh my gosh this is the second time-!!' my head was swirling as I panicked a little, She wrapped her hands around my waist while listening to Amity's story telling
"Otabin couldn't believe his luck! so book maker Otabin surrounded by friends, bound a book of friendship.. and that's the end" Amity closes the book, we peeked up "Amity seems so nice in this way..!" I whispered to Luz "and smiley! maybe we could befriend her like Azura befriended her rival!" we panicked again as the kids were not walking out, Luz actually pushed us down to cover, I was at her left as her right hand was in front of me like in a protective pose
"thank you!"
"yay!"

"good bye miss amity, thank you :D" Another kid said goodbye as he hugged Amity's leg "thank you Braxis see ya next time" Amity pats his head "yaaaaay" the kid ran off. She looked at us for a second then realized as she jumps aside
at this point there were books over our heads, because Luz placed them their to be more like the "books" "Ugh.. you.. and your bestfriend.." she held her book tighter as we stood up "hey Amity.." I waved, After seeing her treat those kids with respect, I actually think she has a good side in her.. it's worth of try on befriending her like Luz said
"Amity! woop-" Luz accidentally slips a book down "reading to kids! wow!" "I never knew you actually had a soft side Blight" I said putting a hand on Luz's shoulder. Amity rolls her eyes slightly "It's for extra credit, don't get your clothing's in a butch" she said and picked up the book that just fell walking away, but did that stop Luz from talking to her? absolutely not
"Hey we could help with the kids! The three of us could take turns reading, and do voices!" We approached Amity as she walked away again
"I do the best Monster voice and (Y/n) could voice the main characters while you are the narrator-"
"Human!" Amity slams the books down, not to loud tho as she turned around facing Luz and I "do you see ME going to the owl shack and bugging you and your peas while you.. fry up owls!? Ugh! Okay I don't really know what you do there but Evey time you come near me I get in trouble! Just leave me alone! Your just dragging your peas everywhere!"
"I'm sorry!.. I'm sorry.." Luz apologized twice as she looks at me and wrapped on arm around my neck as we head out
She lets out a groan "so much for befriending rivals.." she mumbled slightly hitting her head with her fist "it's okay Luz.. I'm sure she'll accept us..! Eventually.."
She looked at me then smiled "your the best (Y/n).. my best comforter.." she gave me a quick hug. I then question myself 'why does Amity still calls me peas- am I that small looking?-' "your gonna let her get to you like that?" A voice asked
We looked at her left as we spotted a girl with long green hair, and a boy with also green hair "who are you guys?" Asked Luz
"Well wisher's on a mission" said the boy "a noble quest" continues the girl "watch this, hey mittens!" The boy called out to this 'mittens'... Oh wait, it's Amity-
"Mom says stop forgetting your lunch, and stop being jerk go your friends" he hands her the bag as Amity snatched it "they are not my friends" Amity responded
Luz looked down feeling gloomy, I held her hand, the girl then placed a hand on our shoulders "yeah make sense..they seem too cool for you"
"We are?" Luz questions "you can leave now, all of you!" Amity points out with a growl and walked away
The girl chuckled a bit as the male winked at us, our cheeks flushed a bit as we nervously laughed
