North Italy (Feliciano Vargas) x Reader
Each stroke of the paintbrush accompanied by a gentle humming sound seemed to lull (Y/N) into a daze. Feliciano remained focused on his art as he hummed an old Italian lullaby to fill the silence in the room. (Y/N) watched in silent admiration as Feliciano remained focused solely on his painting. It was a far stretch from his usual constantly moving behaviour that she had grown used to. Despite her adoration for his bubbly personality, moments like this brought her a sense of fulfillment and only increased her love for the northern Italian in front of her. The two had known each other for roughly three years but had not begun dating officially until six months ago. (Y/N) had managed to resist Feliciano's flirtatious comments when they had first met, but eventually succumbed when she had truly gotten to know him.
At first, she thought he was a bit of an airhead and flirted with any person, but spending time with him quickly got rid of her assumptions. He demonstrated his intelligence and talents through their friendly gatherings and throughout it all he kept his attention focused solely on her and the things he talked about. Her stomach grumbled and Feliciano paused in his painting. He turned to her with a bright smile "Go get some food. I'll be okay here!" (Y/N) nodded with a small smile and exited his art room to make her way to the kitchen. She pondered on what to eat and decided to open the freezer to look at her options. Her gaze fell upon a carton of ice cream and her stomach grumbled in agreement.
She closed the freezer door and turned around to be greeted by someone entering the room. She smiled as she placed the carton of ice cream on the counter "Feli, did you....?" (Y/N) paused in her question when her eyes met hazel eyes instead of the familiar brown she had grown to love. The male stopped in his walking in confusion "Who are you?" Her grip on the ice cream carton tightened in slight fear at the unknown presence. She shook her head and tried to intimidate him with a small scowl "Who are you?" She observed him and took note of the subtle similarities he shared with Feliciano. 'Are they twins?' She briefly thought, her scowl losing its intimidation factor. He grew amused at her expression "I'm Lovino. Feli's brother."
She released her grip on the carton that she was planning to use as a weapon and wiped the condensation off her hands "Sorry for the hostility. I'm (Y/N). Feli's girlfriend." She paused and gathered her thoughts "He did mention having a brother before." Lovino chuckled softly "I wouldn't put it past him if he forgot to mention me. He switches topics pretty easily." He walked across the kitchen and took out the ice cream scooper and placed it before her "He did mention a girlfriend before. I didn't expect you to be here today though." She thanked him as she placed ice cream into three bowls "He invited me this morning." She laughed lightly "It came as a bit of a shock. I wasn't exactly close to his house." Lovino raised an eyebrow but didn't pursue the question.
Feliciano ran into the room covered in paint and with a bright smile on his face. He moved to envelop Lovino into a tight hug, but his brother outmaneuvered him "I don't want paint on this outfit." Feliciano hummed in acknowledgment and attacked (Y/N) in a hug instead "You guys met each other!" "Did you plan this?" The pair asked, and the northern Italian nodded. He released her from his hold and took one of the bowls "You had to meet each other eventually. This was easy." Neither of the two could argue with him and they decided to grab their bowls of ice cream instead. "Did you finish the painting Feli?" She asked, internally frowning at the taste of the ice cream.
She wondered if she could convince the brothers to accompany her to get gelato. "Yep!" He announced, mimicking her action of setting the bowl to the side. She internally smiled at the sight as Lovino copied their action as well. "By the way" she began, glancing between the two "You guys aren't twins are you? You guys look similar, but I get the feeling Lovino is older." Lovino huffed "Of course I'm older. I don't even look that much like him either." She could sense his annoyance growing and she quickly attempted to explain "You don't. It's just subtle similarities. Plus fraternal twins exist." She gripped Feliciano's hand in hers and smiled charmingly at Lovino to calm him down "How about we go out together to get some gelato?" The Italian brothers both nodded in agreement.
