Jaimi and Darshan reach home. Darshan helps Jaimi situate herself in their bedroom. He goes down to the kitchen and makes lunch for the two. Jaimi comes down around 12 as she's starving. They have lunch together and Jaimi helps him clean. The bell rings. Jaimi opens the door and sees Zain at the door. She lets him in and leads him into the living room. Darshan comes out to the living room hearing a manly voice. He sits close to Jaimi on the sofa.
Darshan: Hi!
Zain: Hi! I'm sorry aap dono ko disturb kar raha hoon. Ayesha ne bataya ki Jaimi ka accident hua hain. Yaha paas se hi jaa raha tha toh milne aa gaya. Sorry, kuch laana bhul gaya!
Jaimi: It's fine!
Darshan: Tum aae wohi badi baat hain.
Zain: Tum thik ho ab?
Jaimi: Yeah! Tum kuch loge? Chai, coffee, or anything else?
Zain: No. Thank you!
Jaimi starts to feel drowsy as her head is getting heavy.
Darshan: Jaimi, tum jaake aaraam karo!
Jaimi: Baith ti hoon thodi derr!
Zain: Tum aaraam karo! Mein waise bhi nikal hi raha hoon. I just dropped by to check on you.
Jaimi: Ok. Bye! Thank you for coming!
Zain: Bye! Take care of yourself.
Jaimi goes upstairs and hits the sack. Darshan and Zain are staring at each other blankly.
Zain: Umm... agar tumhare paas thoda waqt ho toh baat kar sakhte hain?
Darshan: Uh... haan.
Zain: I know ki yeh tumhara aur Jaimi ka personal matter hain but I don't want ki meri wajah se tum dono ke beech mein kuch problems ho. Ayesha ne mujhe bataya ki...
Darshan: Ki?
Zain: Heli ne tumhe mere aur Jaimi ke kuch photos dikhaae hain par woh bilkul galat hain. Yeh sab Heli aur Surbhi ka plot tha Jaimi aur mujhse badla lene ke liye. Mein tumhe saboot bhi dikha sakhta hoon.
Darshan: Konsa aur kaisa saboot?
Zain: Set ki CCTV footage!
Zain shows Darshan the CCTV footage in which it clearly shows what Heli and Surbhi did that day and how they plotted everything against Jaimi and Zain. Darshan is shocked seeing it not knowing what and who to believe.
Darshan: Heli aur Surbhi aisa kyu karenge?
Zain: Jaimi se badla lene ke liye kisi baat ka aur meine uss din Jaimi ki help ki thi Ayesha aur Mehjabeen Bhabhi ko bachane mein iss liye!
Darshan: Bachane mein par kisse?
Zain: Tumhe Jaimi ne bataya nahi?
Darshan: Nahi!
Zain: Uss din Heli aur Surbhi ne kuch gundo ko appoint kiya tha taki woh Ayesha aur Mehjabeen bhabhi ko kidnap kar sakhe aur wohi hua. Mein uss din Jaimi se takra gaya aur uski madad ki.
Darshan is still looking at Zain with a 'are you out of your mind' look.
Zain: I know yeh believe karna hard hain tumhare liye kyuki woh tumhare friends hain par Jaimi ke paas proof hain. I don't know if you know this or not, but haan mein aur Jaimi 2 saal pehle date kar rahe the. Meri galti ki wajah se meine usko kho diya. Hum dono ab kabhi bhi saath nahi ho sakhte!
Darshan: I...
Zain: I just want to let you know so you don't fall for what Heli and Surbhi say! Mein aur Jaimi sirf dost hain aur iss se zyada hum dono ke beech mein kuch nahi ho sakhta. Woh dono Jaimi se nafrat karti hain aur usko chot pochane ke liye kisi bhi hadd tak jaa sakhti hain. Ab inn teeno ke beech mein aage kya hoga depends on you. Tum abhi bhi mujh pe yakeen nahi kar rahe ho toh Jaimi ke paas saare saboot hain par tumhe usse dhoondhana padega.
Darshan nods his head.
Zain: Mein chalta hoon!
Darshan closes the door behind him. He sits in the living room and thinks about it for a few minutes. He gets up and goes to the bedroom. He quickly looks through Jaimi's side of the closet for any evidence but finds nothing. He quickly checks her files and still nothing. Darshan spends the whole day thinking where Jaimi can keep all the evidence. Jaimi continues to give him a cold shoulder.
It's April 13th. Darshan wakes up around 7:30 and doesn't find Jaimi in the room. He goes down and sees Jaimi leaving. He runs down the stairs and stops her.
Darshan: Tum drive mat karo! Mein tumhe drop karta hoon.
Jaimi: Not needed! Mein thik hoon ab.
Darshan: Bacche jaise react mat karo! Mein drop karta hoon. And, ab se jab tak doctor tumhe green signal na dede tab tak mein hi tumhe pick up and drop karuga!
Jaimi: I can do it myself so no thank you!
Darshan: Yeh mera final decision hain! Tumhe ghaadi chalate waqt kuch ho gaya toh. Chakkar aa gaya ya phir kuch aur... so tum ab doctor jab tak na kahe tab tak drive nahi karogi.
Jaimi: Aur, mein tumhari baat kyu sunu?
Darshan: Thik hain, mat suno! Mein Jaivardhan Uncle ko call karke batata hoon tumhari health ke baare mein kyuki tumne toh kal bataya nahi.
Jaimi rolls her eyes and stomps her feet as she walks out of the house. He looks at her skeptically.
Jaimi: You coming or should I call a cab?
He nods his head and grabs his keys. He follows her into the elevator. He opens the door for her and then they hit the road. He pulls into the Indie Music office's parking lot by 7:55. She gets her stuff and gets out of the car. Just before she's about to close the door, he grabs her arm.
Darshan: Medicine nahi hain iska matalab yeh nahi ki kaam mein kho jaana. Khaana waqt pe khaa lena aur zyada pain ho toh call kar dena.
Jaimi nods her head not wanting to argue or take it any further. He lets go of her and she makes her way into the office. He drives home. He takes the elevator up to the 8th floor and finds Hardik, Jyugal, and Siddharth standing outside the door.
Darshan: Tum teeno yaha kya kar rahe ho?
Siddharth: Tujhse milne aae the!
Hardik: Kidhar tha?
Jyugal: Kab se phone kar rahe hain? Uthaya kyu nahi?
Darshan: Mera phone ghar mein hain! Mein Jaimi ko office drop karne gaya tha aur jaldi jaldi mein phone hi ghar pe bhul gaya.
Hardik: Bhabhi ki ghaadi ko kuch hua?
Darshan: Nahi! Meine hi kaha ki ab se jab tak doctor usko nahi kehte ki woh puri tarak se thik hain tab tak mein usko drop aur pick karunga.
They nod their head. Darshan unlocks the door and they go into the penthouse.
Darshan: Tum teeno dekho ki kya karna hain tab tak mein fresh hoke aata hoon.
He goes to the bedroom and into the bathroom. The other three chat in the living room. Darshan comes down around 9:30. They all go to the kitchen.
Darshan: Chai peeoge?
Siddharth: Yeah.
Jyugal opens the refrigerator and scans it for a few seconds before his eyes stop on the chocolate, pastries, and sweets. He grabs a chocolate bar.
Darshan: Jyugal, saari cheeze ek ek chod dena! Jaimi ki cravings aadhi raat ko shuru hoti hain toh aadhi raat ko mein kidhar lene jaaunga?
Siddharth: Cravings?
Hardik: Bhabhi ko Jyugal ki tarah sweet tooth hain!
Siddharth: Oh!
Darshan: Aur waise bhi month end aane wala hain, so sweets aur saari cheezo pe stock karna padega.
Jyugal: Haan!
Siddharth: Log month ke beginning mein stock karte hain aur tu month ke end mein kar raha hain?
Darshan: Teri shaadi hogi na tab pata chalega ki usko jo dates hoti hain wohi month ka end aur beginning hoti hain.
Siddharth: Kya bol raha hain? Gaanja ya kuch phook ke aaya hain?
Jyugal: Yeh periods ki baat kar raha hain. Ladkiyon ko periods ke waqt usually sweet cravings hoti hain.
Siddharth: Oh. That makes sense!
Hardik: What does?

Hardik: Tune Bhabhi se maafi maangi?

Darshan pours the tea into the cups and hands them each. The thing that Zain said to him yesterday is still playing in his mind. He decides to find the evidence and truth.
Darshan: Tum teeno ki help chahiye!
Hardik: Kis liye?
Darshan: Kal Zain aaya tha!
Siddharth: Ab phirse kuch nahi karne wale! Last time Bhai ne daata tha uss wajah se.
Hardik: Kya kiya tha?
Siddharth: Bhabhi kuch kaam se Zain se milne gae thi for a lunch meeting. Aur, in janab ko laga ki woh waha Zain ke saath lunch date pe gae hain. Humne date ruin karne ke liye food attack kiya tha aur baadme pata chala ki Naushad bhai bhi waha the unn dono ke saath.
Hardik giggles.
Jyugal: Tujhe kis cheez mein help chahiye?
Darshan: Sach jaanane mein!
Jyugal: Bhabhi aur Zain ka kuch nahi chal raha hain so hum iss mamale ko investigate nahi karenge.

Usne mujhe uske shoot ka CCTV footage dikhaya jis mein Heli aur Subhi ne plan karke woh pictures kheeche the. Usne yeh bhi kaha ki Jaimi ke paas Heli aur Surbhi ke khilaaf saboot hain. They nod their head.
Jyugal: Hum ne bhi yeh evidence nahi dekhe!
Siddharth: Bhabhi kaha chupa sakhti hain?
Hardik: Unke saamaan mein check kiya?
Darshan: Haan par kuch nahi mila!
Siddharth: Phone aur laptop?
Jyugal: Bhabhi aise toh kabhi nahi chupaegi! She's very smart aur unko pata hain ki electronic devices ko hack karke Heli aur Surbhi saboot mitwaa sakhte hain.
Hardik: Aur koi jagah?
Jyugal: Wait! Wait! Meine ek baar Bhabhi ko Ayesha aur Mehjabeen Bhabhi se baat karte hue suna tha about some evidence jo kisi pen drive mein store kiye hain.
Darshan/Siddharth/Hardik: Kaha?

Siddharth: Jaimi Bhabhi toh nahi bataegi par Ayesha ya Mehjabeen Bhabhi ki madad se pata laga sakhte hain.
Darshan: Ayesha ko tum teeno dekh lo because I think Ayesha aur Bhabhi ko Jaimi ne sab bata diya ki uss raat kya hua tha. Mein Bhai ko iss plan mein shaamil kar leta hoon aur woh hume Bhabhi se kuch informtion nikalne mein help kar sakhte hain.
The boys chat and make a plan on how they will figure out where the evidence is stored. On the other hand, Jaimi is sitting with Ayesha and Mehjabeen in her cabin.
Jaimi: Bhabhi, Bhai kaha hain? Aaj dikhe nahi!
Mehjabeen: Haan woh unka ek cousin ko hospitalize karna pada hain so woh Lucknow gae hain milne.
Jaimi: Oh!
Ayesha: Jaimi, yeh Heli, Surbhi, aur Aashi ki kundali nikalwa!
Mehjabeen: Inn teeno ka permanent kuch karna padega.
Jaimi nods her head and dials a number.
Jaimi: Brijesh Kapadia! Kaisa hain?
Brijesh: Mein toh thik hoon! Itne saalo baad hume kaise yaad kiya?
Jaimi: Haan! Bahot saal ho gae. Last toh high school ki graduation mein mile the.
Brijesh: Yeah. Long time!
Jaimi: Very long! Tere se actually ek kaam hain.
Brijesh: Bol!
Jaimi: Kuch logo ki kundali nikaal ni hain.
Brijesh: Kinki?
Jaimi: Surbhi Jyothi, Heli Daruwala aur uski family, and Aashi Daruwala!
Brijesh: Ek ghante mein tere paas saari information hogi!
Jaimi: Thank you! Payment?
Brijesh: Tujhse thodi le sakhta hoon?

He hangs up the call.
Mehjabeen: Brijesh?

Jaimi's phone rings and she answers the call.
Chetana: Jai, tu thik hain?
Jaimi: Haan! Mein thik hoon par aap itne darre hue kyu ho?
Chetana: Ek ladki ka call aaya tha!
Jaimi: Kaun?
Chetana: Naam nahi pata par ussi number se aaya tha jis ne Mom aur Dad ko tere aur Darshan ke rishte ka sach batane ki try ki thi.
Jaimi: Kya kaha usne?
Chetana: Usne dhamki di hain! Mein tujhe recording bhejti hoon. Woh tu sun aur mujhe phone kar.
She sends the recording which Jaimi plays it loud.
Girl: Namaste!
Jaya: Tum kaun?
Girl: Mein aapki subhchintak hoon! Aur, aap ko yeh batane ke liye phone kiya hain ki Jaimi aur Darshan ko ek dusre se alag kardo warna aap ki family ke liye bahot bura hoga. Apni bhatiji ki khushi ke liye apni beti aur grandkids ki life line pe na lagado.
Jaya: Kya bakwas kar rahi ho? Jaimi meri beti hain! Aur tum chahti kya ho?
Girl: Darshan! Aur, agar mujhe Darshan nahi mila toh aap ki family ka iss duniya se naamo nishaan mit jaaega!
Jaivardhan: Tum ho kaun?
Call ending sound is heard and the recording comes to an end. Jaimi calls Chetana.
Chetana: Mom aur Dad, India wapas aane ki baat kar rahe hain!
Jaimi: Kyu?
Chetana: Tu waha akeli hain aur teri safety important hain.
Jaimi: Yaha aane ki koi zaroorat nahi hain! Yeh jis kisi ne bhi kiya hain mein usko dekh lungi.

Jaimi: Jisne aap ko dhamki di hain woh yaha ki well known star hain aur isse mera kuch hisaab baaki hain jo barabar karna hain!
Chetana: Teri safety zyada matter karti hain! Kisi se badla nahi.
Jaimi: Di, mujhe kuch nahi hoga! Let me handle this my way. Aap sab kuch dino ke liye California chale jao. Mind fresh ho jaaega aur dimaag se yeh baat bhi nikal jaaegi.
Chetana: Tu waha problem mein hain aur hum yaha vacation pe jaae?
Jaimi: Vacation pe nahi toh kaam pe hi chale jao!
Chetana: Kaunsa kaam?
Jaimi: Mein humari saari factories wapas kholna chahti hoon!
Chetana: Kyu? Hum ab sirf dealer hain. Patel Industries production nahi karti.
Jaimi: Mein production wapas shuru karna chahti hoon jaise Dada, Papa, aur Kaka chahte the. California mein ek company ke saath baat chal rahi hoon for the machinery and technology so aap waha jaake sab kuch dekh ke deal finalize kardo!
Chetana: Par?
Jaimi: Di, tension mat lo! Aap sab yaha aaoge toh I don't want ki Adi aur Diya danger mein aae kyu ki woh dono easy target hain. Aap log waha raho wohi meri sabse badi help hogi.
Jaivardhan: Yeh kya hain Jaimi?
Jaya: Tune hume iss ladki ke baare mein bataya kyu nahi?
Jaimi: Aap dono shaant ho jao! Yeh ladki kuch nahi bigaad sakhti aur uska kya karna hain mujhe pata hain.
Jaivardhan: Mein aata hoon waha!
Jaimi: Zaroorat nahi hain Kaka! Mein dekhlungi. Aap pareshaan mat ho!
Jaya: Kaise pareshaan na ho? Humari beti waha musibat mein hain aur hum uski chinta bhi na kare?
Jaimi: Uss ladki ne ab tak meri patience dekhi hain par ab woh yeh dekhegi ki jab family pe baat aati hain tab Patel family kis had tak jaa sakhti hain.
Jaivardhan: Uspe toh mujhe koi shaq nahi hain ki Jaimi Ved Patel kya kar sakhti hain!
Jaimi: Toh yeh trust kuch aur din ke liye rakhiye aur company ki opening cermony ki taiyaari kijiye!
Jaya: Sab kuch ho gaya?
Jaimi: Sab nahi par bahot kuch meine ready kar diya hain! Dada aur Dadi ki birthday July 15th ko opening ceremony hogi!
Chetana: Tu khyaal rakh apna aur kuch bhi ho toh call karna.
Jaimi: I will! Aur, please California wala sab kuch kar dena.
Chetana hums in response. Jaimi bids them goodbye and hangs up after a minute.
Mehjabeen: Tu ab bhi Heli ka sach Darshan ko nahi bataegi?
Jaimi: Haan, mein nahi bataungi!
Ayesha: Itna sab hone ke baad bhi?
Jaimi: Mein nahi bataungi! Heli khud Darshan ko apne gunaho ka baare mein bata degi.
Mehjabeen: Kaise?
Jaimi smirks.
Jaimi: Thoda intezaar kijiye! Brijesh ka call aa jaae uske baad plan finalize karte hain.
The two nod their head. Jaimi sees Brijesh is calling her. She quickly answers.
Brijesh: Okay then! Heli Daruwala aur Surbhi Jyothi ko saare production houses ne mana kar diya hain jab woh dono kaam maangane gae the iss hafte mein. Iss liye woh dono ek clinic kholne ki soch rahe hain in Mumbai!
Jaimi: Konsa clinic?
Brijesh: Heli ek dentist hain so dental clinic. Surbhi receptionist ka kaam karegi. Unn dono ne ek jagah finalize ki hain jiski woh isi hafte mein deal final karne wale hain!
Jaimi: Background check?
Brijesh: Heli ko tune ek baar jail mein bhijvaya tha wohi ek records mein hain par isse pehle drunk driving aur rave parties mein shaamil thi. Celebrity status ki wajah se bach gae hain. Surbhi bhi ismein involved thi.
Jaimi: Aashi?
Brijesh: She's very studious and naive type of girl. Woh Heli ka tujhe hurt karne mein iss liye saath de rahi hain taaki apne Dad ki treatment karwa sakhe. Heli ne promise kiya hain ki jab woh Darshan ko paa legi tab woh uske Dad ki treatment sponsor karegi. Aashi uske Dad ko bachane ke liye yeh sab kar rahi hain! Iss wajah se uski Heli aur uski Mom se bahot kaha suni ho gae hain aur woh dono usse bahot badtameezi karte hain and they treat her like a... naukar.
Jaimi: Yeh jo jagah Heli aur Surbhi ne tair ki hain uski puri details chahiye aur Aashi ke Dad ka naam, bank account, address, aur kaun se hospital mein hain woh mujhe chahiye! And, make sure ki unn dono ko India ke kisi bhi production house se offer na aae.
Brijesh: Give me five minutes to send you all the details and I'll take care of the other two!
Jaimi: Brijesh, tum abhi kisi company ke saath contract mein ho?
Brijesh: Nahi! I'm looking for one.
Jaimi: Patel Industries join karoge?
Brijesh: Wait, what?
Jaimi: Mein Patel Industries ko wapas khadi kar rahi hoon and I need talent like you so will you be willing to work with me?
Brijesh: Definitely!
Jaimi: Expect a contract from the company at your doorstep before the end of the week.
She hangs up the call and finds Ayesha and Mehjabeen staring at her with so many questions in their eyes. Jaimi dials the number of Pujit NGO. Rishabh shortly answers the call.
Jaimi: Hello! Mein Jaimi Patel bol rahi hoon.
Rishabh: Hi! Mein Rishabh hoon.
Jaimi: I remember you. Mujhe kuch help chahiye!
Rishabh: Ji, boliye.
Jaimi: Mein ek patient ki details mail karti hoon jo abhi Surat ke hospital mein hain. I want ki NGO ke through uss patient ki treatment ho. Treatment ka jo bhi kharcha ho woh mein de dungi. Ok?
Rishabh: Yes ma'am!
Jaimi: Keep in touch with me about the process aur family ko mera naam nahi pata chalna chahiye!
Rishabh: Yes ma'am!
Jaimi: Thank you very much! Have a good day!
Rishabh: You too!
Jaimi hangs up the call and looks ahead of her.
Ayesha: Ab kiski treatment tu apne paiso se pay kar rahi hain?
Jaimi: Aashi ke Dad!
Mehjabeen: Usne tere saath itna sab kiya aur tu uske dad ki treament ka paisa de rahi hain.
Jaimi: Usne mere saath jo kiya woh majboori mein aakar kiya hain. Heli ne kaha tha ki woh agar Darshan ko paane mein uski help kare toh Aashi ke Dad ki treatment ka paisa dengi par ab woh toh impossible ho raha hain aur Heli usko help nahi kar rahi hain. They're treating her like a servant. Parent ko khone ka dard mujhse zyada kaun jaan sakhta hain?
Ayesha: Mahaan hain tu!
Jaimi: If it makes you feel better then look at it this way, agar Aashi ke Dad ka treatment ho gaya toh woh Heli ka galat cheezo mein saath nahi degi. And we have one less person to worry about.
Mehjabeen: That's true! Tera aur Darshan ka ek hona phir tair ho jaaega kyuki teri saari khabar Aashi hi Heli ko deti hain.
Jaimi doesn't react and continues to do something on her laptop.
Ayesha: Ab plan bhi bata do!
Jaimi tells them of the plan which is roaming around in her brain.
Mehjabeen: Heli hi apna bhura karegi!
Ayesha: Baby, kya idea nikala hain?
Jaimi: I'm not a baby!
Mehjabeen: Iss baar toh Heli se picha chutega!
Jaimi smiles. The three get back to their work and finish it around 5. They step out of the office. Darshan is standing against his car waiting for Jaimi. She says her bye to Ayesha and Mehjabeen before making her way to Darshan who stiffens seeing her. They hit the road. Jaimi continues to stare out of the window as Darshan plays the radio. The song, Jashne Bahara, plays. They reach home.
Darshan: Meine dinner order kar diya hain!
Jaimi simply nods her head and makes her way up to the bedroom. She gets fresh then, goes to the home office where she works on her project of rebuilding Patel Industries. They both have dinner by 9. They clean up and make their way to their bedroom. Darshan grabs a pillow and lays down on the sofa like the last night. He started to sleep on the sofa again since they return from the hospital as he wants to give her some space.
Darshan: Good night!
Jaimi: Night!
Jaimi drifts off to sleep while he sits beside her on the bed. He stares at her faces and runs his fingers through her long silky hair. He kisses her on the bruise after a few minutes before retiring to the sofa. He falls asleep in a few minutes as well.
