Origins: He was kidnapped by a underground group of scientists trying to improve humanity, out of gear of metahumans wiping out society. Matthew was held captive for two years as he was an orphan, but he did escape. In order to do so he killed every last scientist. When He got out he was 16 years old and hungry. Eventually he started to offer his enhanced abilities as a hitman. He then wound up fighting Batman and barely escaped. He avoids going back to Gotham just to be safe, but that didn't work. As he was doing a job in Central City and The Flash appeared. He managed to stab The Flash in the leg. As he was escaping Batman appeared with the rest of the league. Matthew thought through all the options and saw that surrendering was his best option. He was then locked up in Belle Rev, until he was assigned to Task Force X and a bomb in his neck.
