"All this in the name of my stupid best friend — Katniss Lightwood. "I roll my eyes walking inside the rehearsal hall.
"You are going to thank me later for this sweety " She winks fanning her face.
"All this aside why aren't you telling me what exactly happened to you and Jason ? You both just blew away from home last night " This is like umpteenth time I'm asking her the same question.
Her expression changed into nervous one. She swallowed hard looking away from me.
Oh boy! Something is seriously wrong.
"Sky we will speak about this later " She whispered biting her lower lip.
I was question her when a voice called for us.
"Can we have our two anchors on stage please — Katniss lightwood and Jason Henderson " A guy announced standing on stage.
"You've got to be kidding me. I and Jason? Can things get more lumbersome " Katniss muttered under her breath while fidgeting with her phone.
"We definitely need to speak about you and Jason after rehersal " I shot her I-know-something-is-going-on look.
Katniss and Jason were acting weird no actually very weird.

"You are suppose to look into Damon's eyes Scarlett " Dance tutor said.
I lift my eyes to look at Damon, he gave me a small smile, "It's okay. You can do this. It's just a dance "
I nod and my eyes avert past Damon to look at xavier. Xavier and norah were dancing next to us.
"I can't believe you both are real couples. You have zero chemistry " The guy who is assigned to teach us dance is pissed to another level. He was now yelling at norah and xavier.
"With this chemistry I don't know how you will kiss in front of audience " He huffed placing his hand on his hips.
"What?! " Both Damon and xavier yelled at the same time.
I understand why xavier yelled but what's up with Damon. The tutor didn't ask us to kiss. He told it to norah and xavier.
"At the end of act I expect you to kiss norah "
Xavier looked at me with skittish eyes, "I can't " He blurted running finger through his hair.
"Yeah even I feel he shouldn't " Damon interrupted.
"Can we get back to dance please " Norah made a statement.
We all were back to dancing.
"After a song switch your partners" Tutor announced slumping on chair.
After a song Damon twirled me once and then I embraced by Xavier. My heart fluttered the second Xavier placed his hand on my waist.
He pulled me a bit close as his eyes bore into mine. I place my hand on his shoulder while we waltz slowly.
"I heard you and Damon kinda had a heated discussion " I whispered looking straight into Xavier eyes.
"Yep! I didn't mind cause it was his love towards norah which was speaking "
I gasp blinking my eyes "Love?! "
"Can't you see he still has feelings for her.I don't know how Norah hasn't observed it yet " Xavier snakes his other hand around my waist and I shudder due to our close proximity.
"Many things go unnoticed " I lower my eyes.
Xavier also didn't notice me and my feelings for an year.
"That's it for today. Thank you guys. Please go through the script once " Tutor announced clapping his hand.

After rehersal we all moved towards basket ball court.
Norah hadn't spoken to me today. I know something is wrong.
Damon, Xavier and Norah walked inside the court. Norah held Xavier hand and whispered something in his ear and Damon made his way towards me.
"Hey " He chirped settling down next to me.
"Hi "
I turned towards Katniss who was speaking about her plan to hit span this weekend. I avert my eyes towards Damon to see he was keenly observing Norah and Xavier.
"Um.. You okay?! " I placed my hand on his.
"Yeah." He sighed looking at me for a second and turned his gaze back to Norah.
" You like her don't you? "
He snapped his head in my direction "Who?! " He questioned with his eyes narrowed.
"Norah "
"I - " He started looking here and there.
"I understand. You can share with me. I won't tell anyone. " I gave his hand a light squeeze.
"Xavier is quite lucky. He always gets the girl I like... Norah is first girl whom I loved with all my heart but Norah has Xavier in her heart. You - I kind of like you now and you also have Xavier in your heart " He said looking directly into my eyes.
I removed my hand from his and batted my eyelids.
"How did you know?! " I am sure I never told Damon about my feelings towards Xavier.
"I can clearly see through it. You steal glances at him and you tend to get very nervous when he is around you " He stated reading my face expression.
"I regret leaving her with him. I should have fought for my love " He whispered with a feeble voice. His voice dripping with the pain which is bottled up in his heart.
So basically I and Damon are in same phase, we can't have the one we love.
"You shouldn't give up so easily. You walked out of her life when she told you about Xavier. Give it a try. Maybe you won't regret at later point of time. Who knows maybe Norah also loves you? Might be she is in denial stage. "
Damon looked straight through my eyes and blinked few times. He seemed to thinking something.
"Will you help me scarlett?! I don't want to give up this time. I want to try this. Life has given me second chance by sending Norah back in my life. I really want to try this... And I really like you, I do but I love her " He averted his eyes at Norah, his eyes dazzling with love.
"You can count on me. I will help you in every ways after all you are my crush " I giggle winking at him.
"Wait? I am your crush?! " He questioned
"Yeah " I shrugged reclining backwards.
Damon suddenly leaned closer to me and kissed my cheek.
"Woah! Love birds huh! " Norah chirped clapping her hands.
Xavier clenched his jaws glaring at Damon. He directed his gaze towards me , his eyes held abhorrence. Without speaking another word he stormed out of the place.
So much for helping Damon!
