Lia's POV
The whole atmosphere in the car became quiet. Everyone is leaning on to something, I guess they were just as tired as me. All those running we had today did a pretty good job in draining my energy. I do exercising but I'm not really an athletic person, just pure academics. But, I still can't move on with my nails.
"I'm hungry ~" chaeryong said broking the silence between all of us. I'm so hungry too, and I really, really wanted to take a bath and change clothes.
"Yeji unnie, let's stop at some food stalls somewhere" yuna suggested and look outside "or maybe not" she said and closes the car's window. I look around outside and we are on a dark road with thick trees.
"I've found out earlier that there is a camp site nearby, would you like to stay for the night? If it's not behind your schedules" yeji said.
"A camp?" I ask. I have never tried camping before! My mom told me it's just a waste of time and there is nothing to be learn in it.
"Well you really can't call it a camp because they serve rooms in cottages. It's more like a haven in the middle of the forest" yeji responded. Room's in cottages? Sounds good! I want to sleep in a comfortable bed tonight, my body is aching, I think I have been stretched out so much.
"Behind in schedules? Why? Are you in a hurry chaeryong unnie?" yuna ask.
"Lia and ryujin is" chaeryong responded and position herself to face us.
"Our graduation will be held next week, and lia wanted to attend it" ryujin said as she join the conversation.
"We will attend it" I said, emphasising the word "we" to ryujin. I mean, graduation is one of the best event in life! It means you're done with this shit and move on to another stage.
"That's what I said. We are attending it" ryujin said as she also emphasis the word we to yuna.
"Oooooh ~ lia unnie just made it simple, and now your changing decision, you always get your diploma online" Yuna teasingly said to ryujin and let out a short laugh. She turn her back on the front and faces me as I was sitted behind them.
"Lia unnie, I think I forgot to introduce myself. I'm yuna, shin yuna" and smile widely. I was observing her earlier, she's like a walking barbie, her height, her figure, her long legs and her small beautiful face. Chaeryong is right, she is a princess. So pretty, really really pretty.
"I heard so much about you" she added and wink at me.
"Really?" I ask. Because for all I know, it is really my first time to meet her and she just told me she knew a lot about me.
"Oh yes! from those pretty eye smile of yours to your small lips. I know so much more than that" she said and wiggle her eyebrows to ryujin. Chaeryeong was laughing and so does yeji. Okay, what's going on?
"Yah! Shin Yuna!" ryujin said that made yuna burst out laughing. Can anyone give me a head's up? I'm not really following now, actually.
"Waeeee? I just introduce my self" yuna said while pouting. Ryujin is not buying it so yuna try to put on cute faces.
"It's gross to see aunties trying to be cute " ryujin suddenly said.
"RYUJIN UNNIE! Did you just call me auntie?" Yuna ask while her arms being crossed.
"I did" Ryujin responded and laugh "auntie" she added.
"AGGGGH! UNNIEEEE" Yuna said. "Take it back!" she added. And now they are fighting with each other, they were just so sweet earlier, hugging and crying. Now, well, nevermind.
After a series of long teases, ryujin explain that yuna look like an auntie whenever she go bare footed. And yuna isn't wearing anything on her feet now. I look at yuna and she was pouting. It's just so funny to see her being like this, a girl in a wedding dress throwing tantraums like a baby.
"Okay, shins. Stop it already." chaeryeong said in a warning tone. Ryujin and yuna stop teasing as soon as chaeryong open her mouth to speak.
They exchange looks and started to mouth words with each other again, this time chaeryong turn to face the both of them.
"I said, enough" chaeryong said. Both ryujin and yuna zip their mouth close and form a salute to chaeryong. Chae is like the mother of the group. I saw how she protected yuna and hold yuna's hand despite being also afraid of the situation. Yeji is like the leader, she stand for the whole group, she make sure know one should be left behind. On the other hand, ryujin is like the boss, she take risks for the group and lastly, yuna, she is sure to be the vitamin of this group. But, overall this is just purely my observation, I didn't know much about them, but I feel like they know so much about me.
"Lia unnie" yuna started that made me stop from thinking.
"Hmm?" I ask.
"If you were still be graduating next week, why plan a sudden trip with ryujin unnie?" she ask.
"We didn't plan about any of this, we just end up being in here. We are runaways" ryujin responded. Chaeryong and yuna is now looking at us.
"Why? Are you both in trouble?" yeji ask while looking at us in the front view mirror.
"We just crashed a party and lit up a whole diner on fire" I said.
"ARE YOU CRIMINALS?!" Yuna shouted.
"Yuna-yah, do you think we will be like that?" ryujin said and started to laugh.
"Ssh, Of course not" I said while laughing. "The events are cause by accidents, well except for gate crashing but, we are being chased by people and we can't stay there until everything is calm" I added. Another reason for me to pursue this trip is I can't let anyone hurt ryujin, I can't afford seeing ryujin being chase and beaten by her team mates, I know that she's good at fighting but we can't predict things.
"Tell us what happen" Chaeryeong said.
"It's a long story" ryujin said and yawn. Now that I notice, the trip is becoming more loud and crowded, ryujin and I haven't really talk with each other. I look at her and saw that she had small cuts in her hands.
"We're all on ears" yeji said. Ryujin shake her head and just curled up on her sit.
"Come on ryujin unnie, tell us the story" yuna said and shake ryujin's shoulders.
"Aaaah, it's a very long story" ryujin said and whine like a baby.
"Still on ears" chaeryeong said. Yeji nodded and so does yuna. Ryujin pouted and look at me. I give her a just-tell-them-look, because you can't escape with those blazing eyes they throwing at you haha
"Okay, okay" she said and raise both her hands as if she was surrendering with the argument. "Stop with those big eyes yuna" ryujin added.
Yuna give a short laugh and ryujin started to tell the whole story. As the story goes by, the listeners started to change looks from ryujin to me. Then me to ryujin. They all look so cute haha, like babies being confuse who is it's real mom between twins.
"and we end up with this baby" ryujin said as she ended the story while tapping the car.
"I can't believe heejin did that, I shouldn't have trusted her" Chaeryeong said. "You already know about this, am I right?" she ask and look at yeji. Yeji just nodded. Well, no question, yeji and ryujin are best friends. "But the problem is the both of you stole a car!" and now she is looking at us.
"I know! It's cool right?" yeji said while laughing. Chaeryeong gave her a death stare.
"Not cool ryu, not cool" yeji said and cleared her throat and then go back on driving. PFFT!
"What if you'll get up being on jail?" chaeryeong is giving us lectures now. Her cheeks started to get red when she's mad, and I think it the cutest ever! "And, ryujin you just made a trouble scene inside the diner! People might think that you're the one who started and cause the fire!"
"Chae, don't worry. We'll be okay" are we? I didn't think about the consequences when I stole the keys! I look at chaeryong and just gave her a smile to ease her angerness. Well, let's think about that when we go back to our neighborhood! haha
"So lia unnie just got dragged in your problem?" yuna ask ryujin. I let out a small laugh. I think about that too, but I wasn't dragged by ryujin, I volunteer to be with her.
"Maybe" ryujin responded and turn her head to me. She run a hand to her hair and flashes a smile.
"Okay, stop it guys. I can't take those stares anymore" chaeryeong said and shake her head. I didn't know that we are staring with each other for so long. Ryujin cleared her throat and pull her eyes from looking at me, she turn her attention to yuna who was wiggling her eyebrows to ryujin again, what's with those eyebrows?
"So, are we staying the night in a camp?" yeji ask. I didn't notice that we already stop at the entrance of some road. We all smile and nodded.
"THEN, LET'S GO!"
