Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well today! Today we are showering a minor character with some love, specifically the noise hater that for some reason moved to Vinyl City! But hey I'm kinda glad he did cause he's just a wholesome-looking geek, plus his voice is adorable too, by the way, the lovely person who requested this was the lovely xhjenx! I've got nothing else to say so, I hope you enjoy reading this!

(Y/N)'s POV

"Zeeeeeeed!" I pestered, shaking my boyfriend who originally was sleeping peacefully in his bed,
"5 more minutes...." He groaned, shooing me away and snuggling his face into his pillow,
"Awweeee," I laid myself on top of his side, "But it is our one year anniversary!" I droned, pursing my lips and looking at his face, he slowly opened his eyes, and looked towards me,
"Has it really been a year now...? It didn't feel that long..." He said as he rubbed his eyes, squinting to try and find his glasses on the nightstand, I grab them and moved them closer to his outstretched hand, he mumbled a quick 'thank you' as he put them on.
He sat up on the bed, and I moved my body so that I wasn't weighing him down, before laying my head on his shoulder, peering over it to see him scrolling through his feed on his phone, I gave him a kiss on his cheek and ruffled his hair before I got up and went to his closet. I usually stayed over at his house so there were a few sets of clothes ready for when the frequent sleepovers occur, which I enjoyed a little then I should, but spending time with my boyfriend is the most peaceful time of my days.
Zed was the infamous noise hater, he hated all the loud music that blasted through the speakers at every corner, his only savior being soundproof walls and sound-canceling headphones, while I, (Y/N), am an obsessed music lover and life of the party, if I didn't fear for my safety I would have my windows and doors wide open to have the music flow and take over my home.
"Do you have any ideas on what to do today, Zed? I ask as I went into the bathroom to change,
"Not really, what about you, (Y/N)?" He returned the question,
"Mmmmmm, how about we go out somewhere?" I suggest, brushing my hair a little before leaving the bathroom, covering my eyes just in case he was still changing,
"That sounds good, got any places in mind?" He replied, peering over at me,
"I heard there was a beach party downtown, how about there?" I said, already knowing how he is going to reply to that,
"But what about the noise, (Y/N)? You know how much I hate loud noise, especially loud music!" He said pouting, but then I brought out his sound-canceling headphones and waved them in front of his vision,
"Buuuuut, you have these! Besides I want you to enjoy yourself too, not just having you go just to please me. You don't have to agree with this, I want our anniversary to be enjoyable for both of us!" I chirped, wrapping my arms around his neck from behind,
"I don't know...." He mumbled, patting down loose strands of hair, as he contemplated on the idea,
"...Promise me we will find a quiet place there?" He asked hopefully, turning his gaze to me,
"Of course! I will scour the whole beach if I have to!" I beamed, a cheeky grin forming on my face,
"(Y/N) you don't need to do that..." He chuckled, shaking his head and fixed his shirt around his waist,
"Mmmmmm, I think I will because I want you to be happy!" I grinned, snuggling my face into the crook of his neck,
"Ah! (Y/N) your hair!" He said, his body moving squeamishly at the tickling sensation, making me giggle and move my hair away from his neck,
"Hehe, sorry, so is that our game plan?" I ask, looking at his yellow-framed glasses with curious (E/C) eyes,
"Yeah, I guess so." He replied nonchalantly, but a smile sneaked its way onto his face, making my excitement almost shoot through the roof,
"Thank you!" I whispered happily to him, squeezing his body into a hug before I ran out of his room and down the hall, into the living room, before I yelled out 'yes!' into the silence around me, afterward, I heard Zed laughing in his room, making my grin wider.
He came out of his room not long after, seeing me grabbing towels, sunscreen, and other things needed to go to the beach, placing them down onto the arm of the couch before looking out into space, thinking of what else we would need, starting to mumble myself items off of an imaginary list in my head. The closing of a cabinet broke me from my trance, looking over towards the sound to see Zed covering one of his ears, a picnic basket in front of him, I walked over and stood next to him then curiously watched him fill the basket with food, water, and even some desserts,
"I figured the party would have expensive food, knowing how the parties around here are." He explained, slipping in one last water bottle before closing the lid of the picnic basket,
"Awe you're too sweet Zed!" I said, gently hitting him on his forearm, his lips pursing as he mumbled incoherent words, a soft blush covering his cheeks, and with his lime skin, it was very noticeable,
"Zeeeed, are you blushing?" I teased, poking his cheek as I rested my head on my palm, successfully making his cheeks grow redder, giggles starting to bubble in my throat,
"No, I'm not." He responded stubbornly, picking up the basket and placing it next to the other items set out and ready for the beach, I was going to tease him more until a lightbulb shined over my head,
"Oh! That's right we'll need a picnic blanket!" I said, dashing down the hallway once more to grab a said blanket,
"Sand will get on it though!" Zed exclaimed from the living room,
"Don't worry, I'll wash it!" I said as I walked up to him with the red and white checkered blanket in my arms, "But if we're bringing this blanket then I guess we don't need the towels anymore." I continued.
Zed nodded in agreement, picking up the towels in one hand and took the blanket from my hands with the other, giving me the towels so I could put them away. Exchanging the items, Zed put the blanket down as I walked off to put away the towels,
"Alright Zed I think that might be everything, did you already get your swim trunks?" I ask walking up to him, he nodded and patted against the pile,
"It's in here, what about your suit?" He asked, fixing his glasses,
"It's at my house, but it'll be quick to get it," I answered, picking up the basket and sunscreen bottle,
"Let's go!" I cheered, walking out of the door as Zed trailed behind me.
We had gone to my house real quick so I could get my swimsuit, I giggled to myself as I realized Zed hasn't seen this one yet, and it might surprise him, and all I'm telling you is that it is a two-piece. I tucked it under my arm and walked out of my house to meet up with Zed once again, us walking in sync to the beach, having small conversations along the way, although he sometimes had a hard time hearing me with the headphones on, I didn't mind. The Sun was high in the blue sky, leaning towards the right telling us that it's either noon or past that, and with the hot weather today, it was a perfectly convenient day to go to the beach!
The sandy dunes came into sight after a small walk and detour out of Akusuka, the waves crashing into the rocks of the cliffside, the fresh salty air greeting you with open arms, it felt so beautiful and peaceful. The pounding music from the beach party soon came through to our ears, while I had enjoyed the music, Zed clearly did not as he was holding the headphones close to his ears and glowered in the party's direction, yet no one noticed the menacing glare as they were too busy partying.
"Hey Zed," I said tapping his shoulder to get his attention, "I'm going to go change into my swimsuit, okay?"
"Alright." He said, trying not to be too soft, I smile giving him another kiss on the cheek before I ran off to go change into my swimsuit.

ZED's POV

Holding the picnic basket in one hand, and the sunscreen and blanket in the other, I walked around and gauged how loud the music was in that spot before I moved on to a different spot farther from the previous one, then gauging the music again. That spot seemed just right but the music was still a nuisance so I moved a few steps farther before I set down the basket and sunscreen so I could lay out the blanket, crabs scuttled around the beach's soggy, wet sand curiously looking over to me with their beady black eyes before scuttling off once again. Once the blanket had been laid out, I placed the picnic basket in the middle of it along with the sunscreen, dusting off my hands of any access sand that got onto them, I then sat down and waited for (Y/N) to come over here so that I could change as well.
"Is this the perfect spot Zed?" A familiar voice spoke as they walked to me, I looked over and saw (Y/N) in quite the um, bikini, my cheeks start to blush furiously and I looked away from her,
"Y-Yeah." I stuttered out, finally taking off the headphones and laying them on top of the comfy blanket, suddenly she grasped my chin and turned me to look at her, a mischievous smile on her face,
"Hehe, do you like my swimsuit?" She teased, giggling a bit at my crimson face,
"Y-yes..." I mutter out, my eyes darting everywhere else to avoid looking down at the swimsuit,
"Heheheh, you're so easy to mess with! I love you so much!" She laughed, putting her forehead on my shoulder, her (H/C) hair slipping over from her shoulder,
"I love you too." I snicker, ruffling her hair this time, making her laugh some more,
"Hey, you want to go get some ice cream?" She asked out of nowhere, pulling her head up and laying her chin on my shoulder,
"Ummm," I paused looking up to the stand that's in the midst of the partying people and overbearing music, "Eh, sure, why not?" I answer, grabbing the headphones again and putting them over my ears,
"Come on Zed, let's go have some ice creammmmm!" She shouted in the distance, jumping around excitedly like a child,
"I'm coming don't worry!" I shouted back, slowly walking to where she was, but she kept running off as soon as I got to about a meter away from her.
It didn't take us long to get to the ice cream stand, neither did the line, as we were already at the front, choosing which flavors we wanted,
"I want to have, umm, mint chocolate." I told the person, then he looked over towards (Y/N) as she was still trying to decide what she wanted,
"I'll have...uh...(Favorite flavor) please!" She said, grasping my arm.
The person had gotten out two waffle cones, and a scooper, opening the mint chocolate container first and got a couple of scoops of the flavor, plopping it into one of the cones, doing the same for (Y/N)'s ice cream. I had already put the cash onto the counter in front of him as he handed both of us our cones, (Y/N) grabbing hers quickly, already licking up the ice cream, while I didn't rush at all in grabbing my cone and eating my ice cream, the mint, and chocolate colliding perfectly, bringing a smile to my face.
(Y/N) grasped my free hand with her own, swinging our arms with a hop in her step, both of us laughing at her own silliness, and she stood up on her tiptoes and gave a kiss on the lips, pulling away moments later,
"Love you Zed!" She chirped,
"I love you too, (Y/N), happy one year anniversary!" I said, raising my icecream to the sky and she followed suit.
Despite our differences, we clicked perfectly.

(A/N)- Wholesome Zed, yes, imagined his soft voice speaking his lines either awkwardly or cutely, double yes. Since there isn't much known about Zed's character and personality other than he hates the loud music being blasted in Vinyl City, I decided to go for a stubborn yet loving boio. He is actually one of my favorites, and I love just talking to him as he stands there in misery in the midst of the loud music even though he doesn't have much dialogue, as horrible as that sounds.
