We sat down and looked at the view as Colby held me in his arms. I let out a deep sigh as I rested my head on his chest, looking out at the view.

"What's the craziest thing you've ever done?" I asked as I leaned my head on his chest. "Hm..Sam and I have done some crazy things..uh..I don't know. I think when we went to the abandoned six flags. Something about climbing the tallest rollercoaster was something I've never experienced before." Colby's said longingly as he looked up at the stars.

"I miss doing stuff like that all the time. It felt like we were on top of the world. Nobody could stop us." He said as I smiled and looked up at him. "That sounds like a lot of fun." I said quietly as he grinned and pressed his lips to my forehead.

"What about you? What's the craziest thing you've ever done?" Colby asked as I chuckled. "This." I said as he snorted. "No it's not. This isn't even crazy." He said as I shrugged. "The only really adventurous things I've ever done have been with you." I said as he grinned. "I'm glad I get to show you the crazy side of living, this isn't even crazy though." He said as I scrunched my brow.

"Isn't it illegal to be up here?" I asked Colby as I looked at H in Hollywood. "Yeah, I think so." Colby said with a laugh as I rolled my eyes. "I seem to remember you getting arrested? Daisy wouldn't shut the fuck up about bailing you out." I said as he laughed.

"Yeah. Almost two years ago." He said as I squinted at him. "So...why did your bring me up here?" I asked as he shrugged.

"I'd risk getting arrested to see this view with the prettiest girl I know." He said as I rolled my eyes. "Alright. Then you wouldn't mind if I did this." I said and pulled my phone out and recorded the view, then panned the camera to Colby and I as he kissed my cheek.

"I don't mind that at all." He said as I turned my face. He kissed me gently as he laced his fingers through my hair. I smiled against his lips then crawled into his lap so I could straddle him.

We made out for a little bit before we heard rustling in the bushes behind us, causing me to flinch away from Colby.

"We should go." I whispered as the rustling continued. "Shhh wait." Colby whispered as he covered me with his body. I clung onto him as the rustling continued.

I wouldn't normally be scared in a time like this but I was feeling a little vulnerable right now because of the whole threat thing.

Would they follow us up here?

"Hey! Who's up there!" A man's voice yelled as I looked at Colby with wide eyes. "Run. We have to run." Colby whispered as I scurried off of his lap and stood up reaching my hand out to help him up.

"HEY!" The guy yelled as I squealed, grabbing Colby's hand. "Let's go!" Colby said then raced down the mountain, pulling me along as we both giggled. "I'm gonna call the police!!" The guy yelled as I squealed and ran faster.

"Go!" Colby yelled with a laugh as we ran towards the car. As we ran I whipped my head around to see an older guy chasing us.

Colby quickly unlocked the car door as I swung the passengers side door open.

I dove into the car as Colby jumped into the drivers seat. "Go babe go!!" I yelled as he started the car and drove off. "Oh my god!!" I yelled as we died of laughter.

"I thought he was gonna catch us." Colby said as he wiped the tears of laughter that were spilling onto his cheeks. "Me too." I said as I looked over at him with a grin.

"Thank you." I said quietly as he grinned and took my hand. "For what?" He asked me as I smiled widely. "For making me feel like I'm on the top of the world." I said as he smiled and brought my hand to his lips.  "You're welcome, baby." He said as I smiled and grabbed my phone.

I watched the video I took a couple times and smiled at it. I wanted to post it so badly but I didn't want to be attacked.

It was my life though. I deserved to be able to post a video of me and my boyfriend going on adventures together. I should be able to post what I want to post without having to worry about other people's feelings.

So I did.

I went to Instagram and picked the video, putting it on my story, then locking my phone. I knew I would probably regret that decision but it felt good to be able to post something that made me happy.

Going to the Hollywood sign made me happy.

Being with Colby made me happy.

I was allowed to be happy.

When we got home we walked into the living room where Sam was editing his video. "Hey guys." He said as we sat on the couch next to him. "What's up?" I asked as I pulled my knees to my chest and leaned into Colby.

"Just editing. How was the Hollywood sign?" Sam asked as Colby scrunched his brow. "How did you know we went to the Hollywood sign?" He asked as I chewed on my lip.

"Violet posted it on her story." Sam said as I looked up at Colby, waiting for his reaction. "You posted that?" He asked as I nodded. "Yeah. It made me happy." I said as he breathed out a sigh. "That's not a great idea." He said and raised his brows as I rolled my eyes.

"I should be allowed to post what I want to. It's my story." I said and leaned away from him. "Yeah, I know that but we already have someone who genuinely wants to kill you. You're just fueling the fire at this point." He said as I shrugged.

"Consider me gasoline." I said then stood up. "I'll be in the kitchen." I mumbled then walked off.

I knew he was right, but it pissed me off a little bit that I had to tiptoe around my own relationship. It made me mad that I couldn't just be carefree and post pictures or videos of us without the entire world exploding.

I shouldn't have posted it though. I should have just kept it to myself.

I sighed and pulled my phone out so I could delete the story. Once it was deleted I sighed and turned towards the pantry.

Whenever I was stressed out I found myself baking or cooking something. Tonight I wanted to make brownies from scratch, since I was feeling a little stressed.

I pulled out the ingredients then sighed and walked to my room. I walked to my drawer and pulled out a blunt and my lighter.

I walked out back then sat by the fire pit. "Can I join you?" Colby asked as I nodded and lit the blunt, letting the smoke fill my lungs.

"I'm sorry if I made you feel bad." Colby said as he sat next to me. "You didn't. I shouldn't have posted it." I said then handed him the blunt after taking a couple hits.

"It's not fair that you can't post what you want. You didn't sign up for that." He said then took a couple hits. "I guess I did when I decided I wanted to date you." I said with a small laugh as he shrugged. "I guess but not really. You shouldn't have to walk on eggshells because of my career." He said as I shook my head.

"No, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make." I said then took a couple more hits, giving him the roach so he could finish it off. "I want to be with you more than anything, if it means I can't post a stupid Instagram story then that's fine." I said as he looked at me.

"You're amazing. You know that?" He asked as I nodded. "Yep. Wanna bake brownies with me?" I asked and stood up as he tossed the remnants of the blunt into the fire pit. "That sounds so fucking good." He said as I giggled and took his hand.

We started putting the ingredients into the bowl as Sam came in. "You guys made up?" He asked as I just giggled and dipped my finger in the bowl of batter and smeared it onto his nose.

"Was that necessary?" Sam asked with a laugh as I nodded. "Yep!" I yelled then licked my finger and turned to pour the batter into the pan. "You guys are high aren't you?" He asked as Colby laughed at me missing the pan as he snacked on some Cheetos.

"Nope." I said then wiped the bowl with my finger and licked it clean before putting the brownies in the oven.

"We're totally sober." Colby said with a chuckle as I ran up to hug him. "Totalllly sober." I said and wrapped my arms around his waist as he kissed my head.

"Alright...well...I'm gonna go. Don't burn the house down." Sam said as I nodded. "Yes, sir." I said then turned to Colby.

We finished baking the brownies and ended up eating them out of the pan as we sat on the kitchen counter.

I couldn't help but feel so much joy in my heart knowing I could be goofy with the person I loved. I hadn't been able to be this laid back since my parents died.

I had to grow up faster than everyone else and I was constantly worried about money. I was still worried about money but Colby never pressured me about it. I was excited to get back to work but I was also excited that I wouldn't have to work two jobs anymore.

It felt good to be able to be carefree again.

It felt good to be happy.
