After S meditated and collected a few herbs she planned to head back, but as she looked at the plants a certain highly rare one caught her eye.
"Freezing Heart." (AN: This was mentioned once before in the earlier chapters)
It was one that she had never paid much mind too before but now she wondered if she could make use of it...
"Perhaps I should use it when facing again Liu Wei and Li Mei, or-"The Villain lightly shook her head. "No, I don't think I'll need it."
Like this she got up and began walking back to the familiar sparring area.
Although it had been hours, both men were still pumped full of energy sparring, each one equally stubborn as they refused to let the other win.
Even as they dripped with sweat and blood they were still equally passionate about winning, so much so that the Villain had an odd thought. "Hmmm perhaps instead of a woman, I should have tried pairing Jun up with a man in all those worlds."
After all they somehow seemed to have a lot of chemistry...
The Villain sighed. "Oh well, too late now."
Like this she approached them both as she plainly spoke. "That's enough, it appears you two have sparred long enough. For now you should go back and meditate Jun-"
"I can still fight!" Jun's voice was cold and deep as he wiped off some blood from his mouth.
S was surprised, but her eyes quickly sharpened as her tone grew serious. "You. Are. Done."
Jun grew stiff.
"Now Huizhen you come with me, I shall prepare you a place to stay for the night." Like this she calmly turned her back to the two men as her robes gently swayed in the cooling evening air, one of the men followed while the other was left behind.
Jun watched the two figures leave as he stood in the dust, his heart growing tighter...
Huizhen walked behind S for a while as they walked back to her familiar wooden hut.
Huizhen: "Is it alright leaving your disciple like that? He somehow... seems conflicted deep in his heart..."
S calmly smiled hearing such a thing. "So you're saying you can understand his heart? If that's the case, it should be fine if I leave him under your care when I "leave.""
Huizhen grew surprised. "What do you mean?"
S didn't respond as she instead pointed towards a small side room. "Tonight you can sleep or meditate in that room, and tomorrow we will leave, fulfilling my end of the deal."
Huizhen: "Already?!"
"You came here to kill me, did you not? After all it has been just about three years, I expected you of all people to be in a rush."
The man was silent, he couldn't deny that he didn't have such notions to begin with, but now, now as he saw his former Sensei begin to change before his eyes, his heart once again turned conflicted. "How... how do you intend to explain this to your disciple?"
S: "What's there to tell?"
Huizhen: "You're not going to tell him anything!?"
"Maybe I'll tell him a lie or maybe I'll simply leave...." The Villain wasn't good at goodbyes, if anything she was terrible at them...
"All I ask is that we leave without causing a commotion, that man doesn't know anything and I wish to keep it that way."
"Why...?" Why go so far for that younger man named Jun, why was he able to save his Sensei when he couldn't...? Was he no longer needed? Why-
S: "Hmmm?"
"Nothing. I have no intention of sleeping tonight, I'm going to go outside to meditate for awhile." With that Huizhen flashed off as the Villain was left alone in the hut.
It would still be awhile before Jun came to get the familiar tea, so the Villain simply turned to her thoughts.
"System, what is the world progress?"
....
The Villain was used to this so she simply asked the slow system once more. "What is the world progress?"
【*Ding, Story Progress: +79% 】
The progress was slowly but surely progressing, by the time she met up with the FL and ML it would definitely reach +100%.
The Villain pulled out her tiny death orb like pill, it lightly glowed filled with immense power.
Once upon a time she could have used it to go back to her original world, but now it was her death sentence, her last relief.
It had long since been filled with too much power, no human soul could handle so much energy.
She would say goodbye to Jun and shortly after ingest it.
"No longer exist..." The Villains eyes grew a calm bleak, like a black bottomless ocean.
She felt like she was sinking, sinking deeper and deeper into a black abyss, but at least she could control where she sank to.
She would finally find her end, her means to escape.
She would end it all, she would get out of the cruel destiny bestowed on her by the mysterious god Jupiter.
She wouldn't ask for revenge nor would she be filled with hate, as long as she could end it all...
After all she had no reason to continue living, she simply wanted it to end.
She had no reason-Just as the Villain thought this her mind suddenly flashed to Jun, and his cooking...
"What am I thinking about?" Quickly she silenced her straying thoughts as she put her small death orb away.
With that the Villain instead turned her attention to brewing the familiar tea.
As the sun threatened to completely disappear a young man appeared.
The Villain heard a soft knock upon the door of the hut as she turned to see Jun.
Due to S's Qi depletion she hadn't sensed him.
"Come in." S gave her usual cruel smile as the fire softly crackled.
Jun slowly walked in with the hint of a darkness in his eyes, but as he noticed the seemingly empty hut his eyes slightly brightened. "That man... left?"
Although Huizhen had left the Villain knew he would be back, at the very least by morning, so she simply replied. "He'll be back soon."
As soon as Jun heard this, his mood once again turned dark as a subtle bitterness hung in the air.
"Come, drink some tea." S passed Jun the pill and a cup of tea.
As the young man looked down at it, he grew hesitant. "Huizhen won't be sleeping in the same room as you... right?"
"Whether he does or not, it shouldn't matter to you." S's reply was cruel and firm, with this Jun's eyes grew darker but he simply stayed silent, swallowing both the pill and tea.
His mood grew unreadable as he left in silence.
Once again the Villain was left alone in the quiet hut.
With this she once again began meditating, as she meditated she silently thought.
"My last night with Jun. He is already strong enough..." The Villain recalled the afternoon, Jun had already reached the 4th stage, there was no longer any need for her interfere.
However with one last night she decided she would do one more check up on Jun to ensure his body was doing fine.
Although she no longer needed to give him Qi, she could at least ensure his bodies health.
"One more night..."
"One last night."
The moon rose and shone it's light on silky black robes, the Villain knew it was her time.
Swiftly she got up and darted off into the cool night.
Desert Note: For a timeframe, the Villain intends to leave the next day.
Sorry that this was more of a depressing chapter but the next one is more "up beat." (* ≧艸≦)
