Jaehwa was confused. Why would someone from Dowon's company erase his autopsy?
"I'm going to book an appointment with them." Johnny said, taking out his phone and stepping out of the room.
"Appointment? Why are you all so eager to get this autopsy anyways?" Donghyuck asked, glancing around the room.
"We need it for the investigation." Mark blurted without thinking. He soon realized his mistake, covering his mouth.
"Investigation?!" Donghyuck exclaimed.
"Nice one." Jaehwa muttered just as Johnny returned.
"They didn't answer." Johnny said just as he noticed the looks on everyone's face. "What happened?"
"You aren't business people, aren't you?" Donghyuck asked, narrowing his eyes.
Johnny looked towards Jaehwa for an explanation but she motioned to Mark, who mumbled a "sorry."
Johnny sighed, knowing their cover had been blown. "No, we're not. I'm Detective Seo, Johnny."
Johnny showed Donghyuck his badge, which shocked the male. "Oh my gosh, you're part of the police."
Johnny nodded his head. "Yes, I am."
Donghyuck let out a loud groan, throwing his head back. "Ah, I'm screwed, aren't I? All the illegal hacking I've done. Are you taking me to jail now?"
Jaehwa bit the inside of her cheek, trying not to laugh. He really is a child at heart, isn't he?
"Just between the people in this room, I can let you go and pretend that I don't know anything," Johnny said before adding, "on one condition."
"What is it?" Donghyuck said, looking at Johnny desperately.
"Help us out when we need a hacker." Johnny told him.
Donghyuck immediately nodded his head.
"For sure, I can definitely do that. Just give me a call when you need me." Donghyuck told the elder male.
Jaehwa watched as Johnny smiled in satisfaction.
"It's a deal then."

Johnny had returned to the police station with Mark and Jaehwa, Donghyuck going home for the day. They had thanked Jungwoo for his time and the pathologist said he would continue looking for the report.
In the meantime, Johnny already had a plan in his head.
"Mark, can you find everything that you can related to the Kim's and the death?" Johnny asked.
"Of course." Mark replied, settling down at his computer.
"Great." Johnny said before doing the same at his own. Time to work on some other cases while he does that.
"Um."
Johnny looked up to see Jaehwa and remembered the girl was still there.
"Are you hungry?"
"Huh?"
Jaehwa motioned to Mark who had pulled out a sandwich and was munching on it while he worked. Johnny glanced at the time on his computer. "It's lunch time, isn't it."
Jaehwa nodded her head. "Yeah, you seem busy though so I was going to offer to go get you something."
"Yeah, that would be great." Johnny said, searching for his wallet but Jaehwa reached out, patting his arm.
"Don't worry about it, it's on me." Jaehwa told him.
"Are you sure?" Johnny asked, feeling guilty.
Jaehwa nodded her head. "I owe you for my breakfast the other day."
Johnny gave the girl a small grin. "Thanks Jaehwa."
"No problem."

Jaehwa didn't know why she offered to get lunch for Johnny. She rarely ever did favours for strangers, reserving the time for the people she cared about instead.
Does that mean that I care about him?
Jaehwa immediately shook the thought away.
Disgusting.
Jaehwa took a deep breath as she entered the station, the paper bag with both her and Johnny's lunch inside.
By now the receptionist was used to her presence, letting her go straight to Johnny's office. Jaehwa was surprised to see Johnny sitting on his desk, Mark's monitor turned towards him.
"Quick, come. Mark got some information." Johnny said, motioning her over.
Jaehwa nodded, putting the food down before taking Johnny's side.
"Alright." Mark said, clearing his throat. "So here's the deal."
"Kim's Enterprise is ran by the Kim Family, the wealthiest family in Neo City. Mr. Kim is the current CEO and him and his wife has two children. Er, they had two children, before Dowon died."
"Two sons, the eldest being Kim Dowon and the younger one being Kim Doyoung. They both are pretty smart and did well in school, training to take over the company."
"Anyways, a few weeks ago, on a rainy night, the two sons were on their way to a camping trip when their car went off the rails, rolling down, stopping right before the cliff. When the paramedics came, they found Doyoung there with minor injuries but Dowon was no where to be found."
"According to Doyoung, his brother had slipped and fallen down. Since it was dark and rainy, it was hard for Doyoung to see so he wasn't quite sure what happened."
"The police searched for the next few days but gave up, deeming Dowon missing until his body showed up one day, with the bullet wound through his head."
Jaehwa didn't know what to say once Mark finished, taking a deep breath and sipping his water bottle. "Sorry, that was a lot, wasn't it?"
"No it was good. I'm just thinking." Johnny responded.
Jaehwa couldn't help but wonder what the detective was thinking about, Johnny's face serious as he tapped his desk.
Johnny looked up, meeting her eyes and Jaehwa immediately looked away, moving towards the food. She grabbed one of the sandwiches inside, passing it to Johnny. "Here."
"Thanks." Johnny said, taking the item in his hands. Their fingers brushed as she passed the food item, and Jaehwa couldn't help but wonder if Johnny had felt it as well.
If he did, he didn't show it as he sat back down in his seat, searching on his computer.
"I'm going to try to book an appointment with Doyoung. I think we need to get a better idea of what happened that night." Johnny informed the two.
Jaehwa eyed the untouched sandwich, sitting at the corner of his desk as she sat down in her seat across from him. "Are you going to eat that?"
Johnny gave her a small smile as he took the sandwich, unwrapping it and taking a bite. "Thanks for getting this."
"No problem." Jaehwa said.
But after that one bite, Johnny had placed the sandwich aside, continuing his work instead.

Johnny was happy to see that Doyoung's secretary had responded to his email, able to book an appointment that afternoon.
As he looked away from his computer with a huge smile on his face, it disappeared as soon as he saw the glare Jaehwa was giving him.
"What?" Johnny asked the girl who motioned to the sandwich on his desk.
"It's been half an hour and you've had one bite." Jaehwa pointed out. "Why did I waste my money buying lunch if you're not going to eat it?"
Johnny ran his fingers through his hair as he picked up the sandwich again. "Sorry, I'm just trying to close this case as fast as I can."
"I know, and that's not a bad thing but you're neglecting your own basic needs." Jaehwa responded.
Johnny couldn't help but giggle, earning a look from the girl. "What, did I say something funny?"
"No, I just never thought that the sister of a gang leader would be here, acting like my mother."
Jaehwa had nothing to say after his comment, only making Johnny more satisfied with himself.
"Don't worry Jaehwa, it's not a bad thing either."
