We were outside with Eda helping her sell some of the stuffs she got back at our world
Luz was telling a story to king as I listened while cleaning some things "emboldened by the dishonor Hecate had shown, Azura lifted her staff to the cotton candy skies and shouted "i challenge you to a witch's duel!""
She then held the bottom part of the book " and look I drew a flip book! Phew pheww!"
"Show me the picture" king said "what?" Luz didn't seem to hear what he said "show me the picture!"
As Luz did he laughed and pointed "I can draw better than that! You know they once called me the king of artists"
I laughed "I though you were the king of demons", are you just making this up now?" I asked as Luz giggled
He turned around "doesn't matter! What's important is that my followers would leave me offerings in fear if me!"
"Well i can offer you more of this tantalizing book" Luz said as she showed him
We then heard Eda groan "please stop reading that, it's flowery language is an insult witches and driving away all our serious costumers!" Eda dusted Luz's face making her stop talking
"Well Eda.. what costumers? I haven't seen any at all" I said as we looked around, empty "there aren't even any other stands around. What's going on?" Luz says
"This is a bad omen.. there must be something horrible happening today.." Eda said in a whisper
"(Y/n)! Luz!" We looked to the side seeing our friends, Willow and Gus "something amazing is happening today!" Gus added
"Hey Gus! Hey willow" I waved as Luz also greeted. Willow raised up her hand holding onto a poster "it's the annual convention! Student witches get to see all the types of covens before they're place in one, theirs even a mystery guess this year!" Said willow
"A job fair for witches!" Luz exclaimed "ooh sounds interesting! Very interesting!!" I second exclaimed
Luz leaned on Eda as her hands locked together "Eda can we go??" "Absolutely not"
Luz pouts then sunks herself down to the ground "I never joined coven for a reason! Sure it's like a fun club for witches, but your also giving up your magical independence to be part of a crooked system!" She slammed her hand on the table as I placed the wet cloth on a table
"Eh.. but you know, no judgement" Eda crossed her arms as I elbowed her on the shoulders as I glared at her
"In any case I haven't been to one since we were girls.."
I looked at her confused ""we"?" I asked "I mean-" "who's "we"??" Luz popped up behind me and placed her hands onto my shoulders
"You have a mysterious past! Now we gotta go!!" Luz said in excitement "no."
Luz then had an idea "okay then you leave me no choice" I was pretty confused on what she meant with that
King opened the book and read one part of the book "you shall not shan't do it! No more harm, Azura calleth out-" king continued to read "so flowery, so awful" Eda mumbled as she walked away from the "terrible" story telling
While king continue to read Eda used the magic door and walked in without looking back at us. I laughed a bit as Luz held king and threw him in before the door closed
The door then opened back quickly "stop it!! Stop it! I will litterally do anything to stop this!!" Eda yelled in defeat

We then made it to the convention, Eda groaned and pinched the bridge of her nose as the four of us were excitedly hyped for this
Eda then tried to cover her head with the cloak but king was blocking it making her struggle even more "gotta-keep.. a low profile..." She mutters
As Luz also helped by pushing her hair in "is this how really necessary?" Asked Luz as Eda responded "do you think all my wanted posters are for petty theft?"
Suddenly small objects then fell from her dress "partly, but the big whammy is I disobey the law and refuse to join a coven"
She then glared at a wanted poster of her "if I'm seen I could go to jail, again" willow then walked over "maybe this informative event will inspire you to join a coven"
Eda then used her magic to cover willow with her cloak as I quickly helped her out if down "Eda!" I yelled as she sighed "let's just get this over with"
I looked around and saw more witches from Hexside. We then walked in as me and Luz awed in amazement
Their were banners hanging, witches flying, magic! "Oh.. was I even Alive before now.." Luz mumbled "those are the main nine covens, but there are hundreds of other ones you can join" Gus informed us as we walked forward as he showed us more about the covens
"Theirs flower coven, artist coven, big dog coven, small cat coven, tiniest cat coven" willow said as me and Luz were more excited

Eda then groaned again "also the grumpy coven" willow whispered to us as I laughed a little "what was that?" Eda says with a grumpy look as we ran away from her
Luz then clinged on willows arm while her left hand was locked with my hand "ooh what's that!" Luz pointed at a construction area
"That's the construction coven" the strong man then threw some bricks up and lands perfectly as a house
"One of the main nine, they use power gloves to increase their strength" speaking of power gloves, the man placed one into the little girls nose.. hey haven't we've seen her before-
Then the little girls pupil then shrank as she suddenly got powerful and glowed "Goku??" I mutter quickly
She lifted the man and threw him up "I am the destroyer of walls!!" She began throwing stuffs while the other members of the construction coven tried to stop her
"Yawza wawza" I then noticed a blue glow behind Luz as it separated it from Luz revealing another Luz! "Yawza wawza" it repeated what Luz said
"Woah" I was shooked as I also felt a glowing feeling behind me as it held my shoulders "woah.." this other me repeated
It goed to the illusion Luz as the two waved at us and disappeared "ah.. you've been taken in by the allure of the illusionist coven" Gus says "we like to magic with a hint.." Gus then disappeared and reapers on the left side "of showmanship.." two more magic dust then appeared revealing the other two members
"Wow that was really impressive, acceptance? Camaraderie?" I looked over to Luz "A sense of belonging!?" Luz added
"These types of covens sounds so incredible! Eda why didn't you join a coven when you had a chance to?" I asked as she held me and Luz's shoulders to look
"Watch closely (Y/n) and Luz, when you join a coven all your other magic is sealed away.. from now on that kid will only be able to make illusions, since I never joined a coven I can do every kind of magic" she made water and fire appear in her hands
"That's why I'm the most powerful Witch of the boiling Isles" she walked away leaving us as we just followed
We made it to some kind of... Magic representation? Their were also guards guarding the side
"That panel looks Popular" Luz pointed. We then heard Gus gasp "it's the emperor's coven! You think they'll sign my forehead!!?" Gus excitedly says as the three of us smiled excitedly
"Only one way to find out!" Willow held my hand as we went in smiling a lot

We sat down, this place was like an old battle place
Luz was holding my hand, we then saw Eda coming as I scooted a little so theirs room for her to sit "all right let's see this mess."
The lights then turned off.. then green smokes appears as a familiar old man showed up, Principal Bump
A lot of cheering and clapping was heard
"Hello bonesboro! Student asks me all the time, "principal bump what's the height of magical achievement?""
A student then stood up "is it this?" He used his magic to make his head bigger which made me cringe a little as it fell onto of another student
Principal stays quiet for a second "wow, I failed you as a principal. It's being selected to join the best of the best, and there are none better than the jewel of the coven system and the enforcers of his will, the emperor's coven"
Guards then slowly rose up from the ground amazing everyone
"Woah.." Luz looked at me and shook me a little "this is going to be good!" I looked at her and smiled warmly "yeah"
We then looked to the side and saw willow and Gus as we waved at them, willow was standing up pointing at Gus's forehead which was actually signed
"Luuuuz! (YYY/nnn)!!"
"Feast your eyes on this elite force, each member hand-picked to help usher In a new age of controlled magic"
Everyone cheered even more as red confetti's were flying down, me and Luz were able to grab a few as we were giggling with each other on how fun this had been going
"Members if the emperor's coven has access to all, yes all forms magic. ooh, aah"
The students then followed "ooh ahh" "but only the best Candice in these ranks, someday that could be one of you!" Principal Bump pointed at someone, and that someone was Amity
Luz and I looked down "Amity? Well she was the 'top student' but her attitude is.. uegh.." I mumbled
The three guards then disappeared "and now I am pleased to introduce, the esteemed leader of this coven, and this year's mystery guest.. you know her! You love her! Lilith!!"
As Eda was done laughing, when she heard the name 'Lilith' her laughed died down as gasp's were the only thing I heard for a second
A blue illusion bird appears and went down to principal bumps stage, then a woman with a mask appeared. She rose her hand as the mask flew up revealing her cat like eyes
Everyone was clapping and cheering, me and Luz were clapping as we then noticed Eda in a statue expression
"Eda you okay?" I asked as we looked at the woman again "you know her?" Luz then asked "you could say that.."
Luz gasped "mysterious past!"
The woman the spoke "thank you all" she removed her cloak and threw it at the back hitting principal bump but he just didn't mind-
"It wasn't easy fro me to rise to the top, I also started from humble beginnings.."
The kid with huge head then whispered "like me.."
"Now I have the highest honor of enforcing the emperor's will, so be more!.. the emperor's coven awaits you!!"
"Wow!.. she got some good skills like Eda" I whispered to Luz "I know right? But just a little different"

Now that was done everyone walked out to explore more covens
Eda walked to the right side as Luz held her arm to stop her "Eda! We're you going?" Luz asked as I also held her right hand "I'm gonna head home and wash the confunk off my skin"
"But we haven't even take a quiz to determine our coven type!!" Luz raised up a magazine with the quiz on it
Eda then suddenly lasers the middle spot if the magazine "you go do that with (Y/n)" Eda then walked away
I then sighed "let's just.. go" I said as Luz nodded as we changed the subject. We looked at the magazine while walking "ooh a pumpkin potionist" Luz pointed as I nodded too and looked
We then bumped into someone as we dropped our magazines
I looked up and saw a familiar hair color.. see then turned around as me and Luz backed away a little
"Watch were your- oh, it's you two... Willows abominations thing" she then looked at me "I knew their wasn't only one. I should have remembered..!" She glared at us
"Hey.. Amity.." I greeted "hey..!" Luz also greeted " so.. funny story, not an abomination! Sorry for the confusion last week, I'm Luz and this is (Y/n), the humans and my bestfriend"
She puts a hand out for Amity to shake but instead slapped it away "ugh put that away, your the two "humans" that got me in trouble with principal Bump and I NEVER get in trouble"
She turns around and walked away "Luz it pretty seems like she doesn't want to talk to us, let's just mind our own business and go-"
When I was about to walk to the other side Luz grabbed my arm and clinged it dragging me with her
"well to be fair.. you were okay with him trying to dissect me so-" Luz got cut off as Amity yelled "you can't be here! This convention is for witches only!" She pointed
"Well.. me and (Y/n) are learning how to be a witch, were receiving Magic lessons from a powerful Witch and a ferocious demon"
Amity doesn't look interested and looked behind us "it's THAT your "ferocious demon" there"
We turned around and saw king with a lot of goodies, their were bakers following him as he was holding a cupcake
"Oh hey Luz! (Y/n)! Look at all these offerings-" he accidentally tripped on his scarf as he fell throwing his cupcake down
Me and Luz then kneeled down to help king stand up, we then saw the cupcake down as Amity stomped on it making king tense up
And gasp
"Oops that was an accident" Amity said like it was nothing. I felt my anger boiling in what's she did, my hands were shaking ready to punch this.. MEAN witch
"Why are you being mean Amity!" Luz yelled "because you and your weak peas and YOUR pet are giving witches in training a bad name"
"I am not a pet!!" King defended "AND I AM NOT WEAK" I yelled as Amity laughed slightly, Luz then hugged us "he's a very good boy AND the king of demons! And it's not true my friend isn't weak!! And she's not just a friend! It's Bestfriend!! I'll tell you what Amity."
Luz stood up as king held me tighter as I hugged him "it's one thing to say I can't be a witch" Luz said "Cause you can't." Amity responded
Luz looked like she was about to snap "BUT ITS ANOTHER thing to bully my friends!!"
"Like the good witch Azura said when facing down her rival Hecate at the bog of immediate regret, I CHALLENGE YOU TO A WITCH'S DUEL!"
My eyes widens as my mouth parten's away, shocked
Everyone also gasped, king looked at me with worry on his eyes
Amity goes closer to Luz with a determined glare "I accept, let's set the terms of this duel shall we?"
"One, if I win you apologize to king for squashing his cupcake and apologize to (Y/n) for calling her weak!"
"And two, you admit that humans can be witches too"
"Fine by me, but when I win not only do you have tell the whole convention you're not a Witch with your peas of yours, you both have to stop training.. FOREVER."
"do it Luz!!! For my honor and (Y/n)!!" King encourages. I was getting more worried
"Fine, let's shake on it" Luz lends a hand but Amity draws a circle in the middle then shook her hand "the everlasting oath is sealed"
She then let's go if her hand "that's probably fine" Luz said "meet back inside the theater in one hour" Amity says as she turned away walking
"Let's see what kind of witch you are" Amity flips her hair
"K..King.. I could win this right?" She turned to king as he only ate the cupcake from the ground. She then looked at me as I gave a nervous chuckled then shook my head
Luz then panicked
