"Finish your lunch then you can go play, ok?" I told Moe as we sat at a table in the park.
He nodded so I held the sandwich up to his mouth allowing him to take a bite. He took a bite then kicked his feet looking at the kids play.
"You like your sandwich, baby?" I asked, reaching into my chick-fil-a bag.
He didn't reply.
I got him subway, anytime I got it he always finished all his food so I knew he enjoyed it.
I took out my macaroni and spoon while watching Moe take a bite on his own to make sure he didn't drop it.
As soon as I was about to take a bite of my food he tapped me, immediately grabbing my attention. "What's wrong?"
He pointed to a tomato that fell off his sandwich onto the wrapper. "You want me to put it back?" I picked it up about to put it back on the sandwich.
"No, no, no, no, no." He pushed my hand away.
"I'm sorry, I thought you wanted it back on there." I wrapped it in a napkin, throwing it in my bag so he couldn't see it and throw a fit.
"There you go, it's gone." I kissed his forehead.
"Noooo." He looked around.
I chuckled. "Yes it is, I promise. You can eat." I held the sandwich to his mouth.
This little boy just liked tomatoes.

I watched as Moriah played with the x and o blocks on the playground. I really wanted him to play with the kids but him not being afraid was good enough for his first time at the park, well since he was about three.
I looked down at my phone for a split second looking at my Twitter feed.
I didn't watch two girls and one cup maybe that's why I'm better than y'all

"I remember that shit." I chuckled looking back up. I saw a little girl standing next to Moe. moving the blocks. She moved her arm in a come here motion but Moe only backed up.
She followed him grabbing his hand pulling him back to the blocks making me sit up. I could see her mouth moving but I couldn't hear her. They both started moving the blocks playing together making me want to cry.

"Mykile sit the fuck down, I'm not gon' tell you again." My eyes moved to the left of me seeing a mom yanking up her son sitting him on the bench. "Pissing me off."
I shook my head minding my business.
A loud sound went off, making me duck and look back. "The fuck." I mumbled. My eyes widened when I saw a car flipped over.
"Ahhhh." Kids screamed.
"Unt unn, come on Mykile ghetto ass shit."
"Moe!" I yelled looking for him. "Moriah!" My anxiety shot through the roof when I didn't see him. "Moe, baby!" I started jogging around the park. I then saw a kid with a red shirt running. I looked again, seeing Moe so I began to chase after him.
He made it to the basketball court before someone squatted down and stopped him.
I jogged to them then called Moe. "Moe baby." He looked at me, walking away from the person who stopped him. "Thank you." I told them, slick outta breath.
"No problem, I seen he was running towards the street and didn't want him to get hurt." They stood up making us make eye contact even though he was way taller than me.
That's when I recognized him as the man from the basketball court.
"Yea, thank you so much."
"Damn, this what you really sound like." He chuckled.
"Huh? Oh—um, yea I don't really yell a lot but y'all was—."

"Nah, don't say y'all, I defended you." He grabbed the basketball.
"Right, thank you for that also." I picked Moe up.
"It ain't no problem shawty, niggas need to learn to respect females."
"Yea." I looked around.
"Why you so nervous, chill out." He chuckled.
I sighed looking him up and down. He didn't have on a shirt, exposing his caramel colored skin tone, some black nike shorts, and some black 97's.
Moe laid his head on my chest, making me realize I was staring at the visible print in his shorts. "Um, have a nice day."
"You too."
I turned walking towards my car since everything was already in there.
"Who was that?" I heard another voice.
"Ion know for real man, but this my second time seeing her."
"Get her number."
I sped up my pace once I heard that.
"Nah man, she seems scared of m--." His voice faded away.
Scared? I seemed scared? Oh my god.

I watched Moe sleep on the couch since it was bringing me peace. He fell asleep in the car before I could even ask if he wanted ice cream or cupcakes.
I rubbed the side of his forehead then looked up at the TV. "Damn." I chuckled when I seen Ghost and Tommie on a run. "Wasn't even paying attention."
I felt around for the remote and my phone.
