"Michelle? Where are you going?"
"I'm shifting to my sister's!"
She started walking towards the door.
"Why? Why?" I stopped her and hold her hand.
She left her hand from mine.
"She needs me."
"What? Is she okay? Let me call her."
I picked my phone from table and typed her name.
She took phone from my hands.
"What do you want? I'm leaving this house! That's it!"
"But why?"
She was silent and looking down.
"Because of that kiss? Listen. I'm sorry for that! I didn't even knew anything! Even you did so!"
She saw up.
"No I mean…"
"What?"
"Nothing. Please don't leave me!"
"Why? Why are you stopping me?"
She turned around and opened the door.
"Because you're really pretty! Really Really Pretty!"
I had tears in my eyes! I don't want to lose her! I… I Love Her!
"So what? Is this a reason to stop?"
"Don't you remember that lucky pretty girl? That's why I'm saying you're really pretty!"
"I can't understand anything."
She was still facing towards the door.
I took me steps forward to her.
I hugged her from back.
"I Love You Michelle!"
A tear dropped on my hands!
Is she crying?
"So..." She said in a low voice.
"So?"
"So what if you love me? Everyone loves me…"
She turned around with a light smile on her face. I can see her eyes are wet!
"I'm pretty famous, intelligent and good at work. So What If You Love Me? Everyone loves me. What's specific about you? Tell me… Tell me."
I hold her hand and pulled her closer to me. Her smiley face turned into red!
"The ones who love you didn't did this to you. This is specific Michelle!"
I kissed her on her soft cheeks.
She smiled.
"So?" I asked.
"So what?" She said having a mischievous smile.
"So, is it enough or should I show you something more specific!"
She put her hands around my neck.
She came close to me and touched my nose.
"You took such a long time to confess this Alex!"
"I'm sorry Michelle!"
We hugged each other! A tight warm hug! Full of love! The love I needed from so long! From the day I saw her! My First First Love!♥️
Her phone buzzed.
"Wait a sec." She said.
"Hello."
"What? Okay. I'm coming. Please start the treatment. We'll be there soon."
She cut the phone and hold my hand.
"What? What happened?" I asked while stepping down from the stairs.
"Your mom met with an accident. She's in hospital. We need to rush."
I stopped.
She came upstairs.
"Alex! She will be fine. Let's go."
I took steps slowly. We reached hospital.
She was in ICU.
I sat on the bench. I feel shattered!
I was so happy before a moment. And now! I feel like what happened?
Michelle bring application form to me.
Nurse came with her.
"Are you patient's relatives?"
"Yes." Michelle said.
Michelle started filling the form.
"What is your relationship with patient Mam?"
She looked at her.
"I'm his girlfriend. I'm filling the form for him. He'll sign it later. I'll submit it on the reception."
"Okay Mam!"
She looked at me and gave a small smile.
"She'll be fine. I asked the nurse. The accident wasn't too big. Relax!"
I nodded my head.
Operation was going on. It was for 2 hours. We were sitting on the bench outside waiting for the doctors. Doctors were running from one room to ICU. I was hell scared.
Michelle hold my hand. I had tears in my eyes!
What will happen to Mom! I'm hell scared!
After an hour, doctors came out. We ran to him.
"How's my mom? Is she fine?"
"Yes. She's fine."
We got relieved!
"She need bed rest for a week. It wasn't a big accident but there was a huge blood loss and some internal injuries. So she will recover in a month. You can take her home after a week."
"Okay Doctor."
We went in to see Mom.
Her eyes were closed.
She had white bandage rolled over her forhead.
I sat on the table and hold her hands.
She opened her eyes and saw me.
She smiled.
"I'm fine bacha! Stop crying!"
I started crying!
Tears were rolling down my eyes!
Michelle put her hand on my shoulder.
"Are! I told you to stop crying not to start it! Stop acting like a kid! You're a big boy."
I smiled!
"Aunt! Are you seriously okay?"
"Yes. I'm okay."
She sat on the other side pn the table and hold her hands.
"Both of you. Stop being so emotional. It was just a small accident."
I hugged Mom.
"Aunt! This mumma's boy was crying so much! He is too hard to handle. How did you handled him this many years?"
"Correct! He's such a kid!"
"Both of you! Stop teaming up and makin fun of me. I'm not crying anymore."
"Good Boy." Both of them said and smiled.
Michelle started teaming up with her
mother-in-law on the first day itself. Not fair!
They were talking and laughing. They are such a good pair.
"Mom! Take rest."
"Yes. I will. Both of you. Go to your home."
"Why? We'll stay here!" Michelle said.
"You must have college tomorrow! I'll be fine here. You must go."
"We'll not leave you. Now close your eyes and go to sleep. Come on!" I said.
We went out and sat on the bench.
"Michelle!"
"Hmm."
"You can go home. I'll stay here tonight. Dad will come tomorrow morning."
"Nope. I'll stay here. You are looking tired. Go and rest at home."
"No."
"Let's stay here tonight then."
"Hmm. Well..."
"What?"
"Why were you leaving home? Because of kiss?"
She had a serious look. Something has surely happened.
"Something happened right?"
"No. Nothing. I just acted going out. I wanted to listen your confession. It was a plan by Di!"
She gave me a mischievous smile.
"Really! Then I should thank Di!"
"No ways! Don't even think about it. I told her this plan is stupid. And I don't want to be with you. She was teasing me like she usually does."
"Do you get always red when she talks about me with you?"
She put her hands on her cheeks.
"Red? Me? No ways!"
"Thank You Michelle. "
"For what?"
"For coming into my life."
She smiled.
Next morning, someone was saying my name.
I realised it's Dad.
I opened my eyes. Dad was infront of me.
"Dad!"
I realised about Mom.
"Mom!"
I moved my leg.
I realized Michelle was sleeping. Her head was on my shoulder and hands across my arms.
I look at Dad. He was looking at us. I gave him a small smile.
I called Michelle.
"Michelle! Wake up! Dad's here!"
She opened her eyes. She saw Dad in front of her. She stood up.
"Hello Uncle. Good Morning!"
Dad smiled and wished her Good Morning!
Dad went in the room to meet Mom.
Michelle sat on the bench.
"Omg! What was that! My heart started beating faster!"
"Why? After all you're my girlfriend!"
She put her hand on my mouth.
"Why? You only said the nurse last night. Don't you remember, my dear girlfriend!"
"Shhh! Don't say it in front of our family, otherwise they'll start talking about our marriage!"
I laughed.
"Okay! Relax!"
We met mom.
She was looking better.
Michelle's mom also came to see Mom.
We reached home.
"Do you want to go college early?" She asked me.
"No. I'll go later. I'm thinking to take a leave for a week. I want to spend time with Mom."
"Hmm. I've to go early. So I'll have bath first."
"Okay. I'll make breakfast for you."
"No. You must be tired. Take rest."
I went to her and hold her hands.
"No. I'm relaxed. Because you were with me last night. We are with me now. And you will be with me forever."
She smiled and went in the bathroom.
I made her breakfast.
She ate it and left.
I got ready and went to professor.
"Where were you since last night? I called you so much!" I entered his office and Harry bumped to me and started speaking.
"Professor, I need leave for a week. My mom met with an accident last night."
"But we had a meeting. Didn't you saw my messages?"
"No Sir. I came home in the morning. And my phone was at home last night."
"Ohh. Okay."
"What's going on?"
"There is an exam after a month. If you pass that exam you can go to abroad for job. It's a great opportunity. So, we were going to discuss about it today."
"Can I start after a week?"
"Okay. I'll text you details about it."
"Thank You Sir."
I left from there and went to hospital.
Mom started scolding me because of leave.
"Your dad was here na! Why did you take leave? Sanya was also here! They both were enough to take care of me!"
"Mom! Stop scolding me! I wanted to spend time with you."
"Alex!" She glared at me with anger.
"Mom! Stop staring me like that!"
"Go to your college and cancel your leave now!"
"No!"
"Alex!"
"Fine! I'm calling professor to cancel the leave!"
"Good boy."
She smiled.
I went to college and fill the form of the exam.
Harry and professor were sitting in lab.
"How's your mom now?" Harry asked me.
"She's fine now. "
"That's why she send you here again?"
I laughed and nodded a yes.
"Did you confess to your crush?" Professor asked.
"Oh Yes. Who's she?" Harry said.
"Yes. I did!"
"Woah! Finally someone is in love from our lab!" Professor said in excitement.
"I've been in love too!" Harry said.
"Lending your notes to girl and have a small talk is not love!" Professor said smiling.
"Professor come on!"
"In love, you have to hug. You have to feel warmth of your partner. You have to love a lot."
"Ask him. Did he do all the things?"
"Yes. I hugged her."
"Learn from him Harry!" Professor said Harry.
We went in the lab and performed our experiments.
Michelle texted me.
"Are you at home?"
"No! I'm at college."
"Okay. Did you met Aunt?"
"Yes. She's better today. She gave me an order to cancel my leave and come to college."
"Haha! Now I guess she is fine."
I smiled.
"Professor! Look he's smiling and using phone. I don't use phone in lab!"
"Stop it! It's recess. You can do anything in recess."
"I didn't use phone in class!"
"I saw you using before! Stop acting like kid!" Senior said in low voice.
"Huh! People in love do everything that they haven't done before!"
Someone's pen dropped.
I look down.
Senior took her pen from the floor.
"Who? Who's in love?" She asked.
"This guy!" Harry pointed me.
"Who's your girlfriend?" She asked.
"Michelle."
"What! I talked her last…"
"Huh?"
"Umm. Nothing. Congratulations."
I smiled.
"You know her?" Harry asked Senior.
"Yes. I know."
"I know her too. She's very intelligent. Just like Alex."
"Why don't I know her? Alex! I want to meet her."
"Keep dreaming."
I stood up and went from there after taking permission.
At night, I went to hospital to meet mom. Doctor said-She is feeling much better. She is recovering very fast.
I went to her room. Michelle was already there. Mom and Michelle were gossiping!
"Hy Mom. How are you feeling?" I went in and asked.
"I'm feeling really good."
"Good."
"Where's Dad?"
"He went downstairs to bring food for me."
"And Aunt?"
"She went home. She was a bit tired."
"Home! Our home?"
I saw at Michelle.
"Yes. What's the problem?" Mom asked.
"Did you have any plans today?" She added.
"No! No! Nothing." I said.
"Is something going on?" Mom said.
Her eyes were rolling from me to Michelle.
"Mom! Stop thinking so much! Nothing like that! We're still friends!"
"Ugh! When will you guys be in relationship?"
I saw to Michelle. She was busy smiling and blushing. Let's play a bit.
"Michelle! Tell mom!"
"Huh? What?" She came to her senses.
"Why are you turning red Michelle?"
"Alex! Stop it! I'm not turning ed n stuff! And aunt. Find some other girl. He is veryyy famous in his department. There is a girl named Megha. They both hang out a lot."
"Hey! Stop it! That's my senior!"
"So what if she's your senior? Can't you love your senior?"
"Nope!"
"Why?"
"Because I know someone who is more pretty than her."
She smiled.
"Fine! Then Love her only.!"
"I Love Only and Only Her."
"What are you guys talking about? I'm unable to understand." Mom said in between. We can see her confused face.
Dad came in afterwards and we went home.
Aunt had already made food for us.
"Enjoy the meal"-She kept a note for us.
"She is very sweet." I said to Michelle.
"Just Like me!"
"Should I try some sweetness! I haven't tasted anything sweet yet!"
She was glaring me.
"Alex!!!"
I came to her and bent.
"Yes my Michelle!"
"I'm really hungry!"
"What do you want to eat my love!"
She pointed the bowl on the table.
"Ohh! So you were talking about food?"
"Alex! Stop it!"
I laughed.
While having dinner,
"You know" I said.
"I always wanted to say you mine."
"Then why did you take it so long?"
"Are I was going to confess on that day. That snowfall day!"
"Oh yes you called me down."
"Yes. I was going to tell you that day. But then…"
"Then? Got scared by me?"
"I… I saw a dream that you slapped me!"
"What?"
She started laughing!
"Stop laughing!" I said.
"You dreamt such a hilarious thing! How can I beat you when I…"
I stood up and went closer to her. She stopped talking. We were lost in each other's eyes. As if our souls were interacting instead of our voice. I went close to her. I slided my face to the left amd she to the right. We were going to kiss. I heard a voice of door opening.
I went back and sit n the chair.
"Mom! You woke up?" Michelle said.
"Yes. Did you both have dinner I made?"
"Yes Aunt. It's yummy."
She smiled.
She saw towards Michelle.
"What are you doing Michelle?"
Michelle look towards her.
"Nothing! Just having water."
"Don't you want to go to college tomorrow morning?"
"Umm yes."
"Come and sleep."
She saw towards me.
"Go! I'll have sweet next time." I said her and gave a smile.
"Alex!" Aunt called me.
"Yes… Yes Aunt."
"I heard Sweet. Do you want some sweets?"
Michelle laughed.
"What's there to laugh Michelle?" Aunt asked her.
I smiled.
"Yes Michelle! What's there to laugh?"
I went to Aunt and stand to her back.
"Yes Aunt. I want to have sweets. Loads of Sweets."
"Alex! Sweets are not good for your mouth!"
"I know very well that Sweets are so good for my mouth!"
"Mom. I'm going to bed."
She went towards her room.
"Aunt! You also go to bed. I'll go to bed too."
"Okay beta. Good Night. "
I smiled.
My phone buzzed.
"Such playing such games in front of mom!"
She texted me.
"Tit for tat! Who told you to talk about Senior in front of my mom!" I texted back.
I didn't texted me for few minutes.
"Good Night. " She texted after few minutes.
"Good Night My Love." I texted back.
