Chapter Twenty Part 2
Presley
HER EYES FLASH OPEN.
Black as Midnight, her fingers tingling with heat with vines wraps around her left arm. She slowly floats to the top of the lake as the sound of Screams and wolves howling filled her ears.
"Welcome back Presley, " Anna's voice sways into her mind as she swam to the shore. As she rises out of the lake the roots of the nearby plant branches out to her. Presley glances down at her reflection in the lake. She wore a black grey gown that fits her upper body well, a hoodie attaches to gown was covering her Jet black hair that glistens with silver as the reflection of the moon shines on it.
"Welcome back Anna, we're one again, " she smiled at her wolf starring at her.
"Do I tell them?" Anna asked.
"No, meet me by Amber's bed." She told Anna. She reaches for her father's rod, she watches as it elongated. She watches as it shifts from silver to an obvilion vine with fire sparkling off.
"Thank you, Dad, " She uttered sadly as runs her hands against the rod. She turns to head through the forest when she came face to face with her mother.
"Mom, " she gushes out.
"You look so beautiful, so you." She uttered.
"I saved Dad, " she blurted out.
"I know, Paxton told me." Presley looks up at her mom. "Yes, your father's wolf is alive guarding vennox wolf." She glides towards her.
"But he's getting weak and needs you." She told her.
"Where is he?" She asked.
"Let Amber show you, " her mother whisper and just like that she disappears into the night.
"Presley!" Alec and Ramda shouted in the union, Presley turns her eyes black as midnight fire sparking from her nails. She looks to her side to see that she was surrounded by thousands of wolves. The same one's that came out of the lake that night she saved Alec.
She pointed her rod towards the forest and they went striding in full speed. "Need a lift, " the white wolf mind link her. It was Dazon her father's Beta. She climbs onto his back and he sprints towards the pack.
Presley glanced up at the sky to see that the moon as settle directly in the centre it was midnight. She looks to her side to see shadows sprinting in stride.
A rogue stood ahead. Without hesitation she lifted her right hand as vines unleashed wrapping itself around it, she blows fire on her hand and she watches as the vines sparkle with a fire burning it to ashes.
"Get me close to Anna, " she ordered as Dazon sprint ahead causing Ramada to scream out and without hesitation, I jump off his back and morphs with Anna causing a massive shake to the atmosphere.
"Presley!" Alec called out as Anna eyes flashes to Oblivion and back her silver ones.
"I need heat babe, " she mindlink and he sends a huge fireball her quick she caught creating a big ball wrapping it with vines as she sends it in air. After releasing the ball she unhinged from Anna and landed on her feet her gown hem sparkling with fire.
She strides towards Vennox who staggered back. "How?" He sputtered out.
"It's Midnight Bastard, " She started as she walks towards him, just as she was about to touch him he evaporated.
"Where did he go?" Sean asked.
"Save the others, Alec and I will deal with him, " She walks towards him. She cups his face as she looks directly into his eyes and her eyes connected with his Lycan.
"What are you do-?" He asked but his sentence was cut short when she disappeared and his wolf took control and she attaches herself with Anna and she follows in stride with Alec's wolf who leads them into a dark grovel of trees.
"Why do I know this place?" Alec asked.
"Amber brought you here once, " she told him and he morphs into his human form, dress in only a Khaki Shorts.
"I remember now, she came onto me and someone hit me from behind.” he started.
" You had your mouth and hand on my mate, " Vennox appear out of the darkness, his entire body was was as black as coal, his hands had thorns stick out of his membrane. His hair was wet as his water drips from the strands of hair.
"Everything was going perfect, I was on the verge of sitting on the throne, I almost killed Royal and I was getting connected to my wolf until you and your stupid father got involved." He growls.
"Did you really think my grandmother wanted you on the throne?" Presley asked starring at him as she stares at the ground.
"At least I had her blessing." He smirks.
"She was just filled with greed and selfish. And couldn't understand that everyone gets old." She told him.
"Is that why you reject Amber because she didn't have any wolf for you to rip apart.?" She asked.
"I'm not allowed to have weakness so I got rid of it." He strolls slowly towards them.
"Everyone is made of weakness that's what shapes us," Alec told him.
"I don't have a weakness, He does." He chuckled.
"You mean brother, yes I know you killed him and took his wolf but you could bear with the fact that his wolf was a pure heart so you dose him up with Oblivion and wolfbane." Presley breaks out.
He looks up at her.
"You were born without your wolf so you found a way to take your brothers to own. Violet showed you." Alec pipe in.
"It was your brother who was caving a message in the tree that night. I remember now because I saw him, I saw him before he crosses the bridge." Alec said Presley looks over at him.
Vennox looks at him.
"I inherited my mothers, seer eyes to see a ghost but because my powers we're masks I couldn't separate what I was seeing and feeling that night." He told him.
"But luckily she taught me how to use it, " he said as a splitting image of Vennox appears before him.
"Do you think bringing my twin ghost will stop me from killing you both, " he asked.
"No but it distracted you from the cove, " Presley spoke and as she sinks into the oblivion vines to stand in the coal of black emptiness. Everything around her was so cold she could see her breath. She slowly stood up as she was shoved deeper into the darkness.
"Welcome to hell, " Vennox gritted out as vines started to moves towards her.
"This isn't hell, this is Ambers Nightmare. She hates the cold and the darkness makes her dream about the day her parents died." Presley stood up and suddenly everything started to spin and as the lights started to cracks into the darkness.
"She's already dead, you can't save her, " he laughs out as the darkness started to seeps back in.
"She's drowning she just need someone to save her from you,” Presley growls at him.
" She's better in an asylum after this, no one will love a crazy obsessive woman." He laughs.
"Her mate will, " she gritted as she releases a massive heat into the darkness.
"I killed her mate, there's no one out there," he smirked as he sways him directly in front of her.
"Are you sure about that?" She asked.
"Hold on Amber!" Presley growls into the darkness as she grabs Vennox head and stares into his eyes. Her eyes shifting from black to hazel with fire simmering around her pupils.
"Anna now!" She called out, she looks away to see Ambers hand reaching for Ramada spear, Just as her hands connect with Alec Vennox sinks his hand into her side causing her to collapse, he turned to grab onto Amber foot, she lifted her left hand letting vines grab itself around his hand sinking into his skin and suddenly Vennox was turning into a full human being before he was engulfed in fire. Within seconds he exploded and scattered into pieces causing the darkness around her to crumbled and the pain in her side to increase rapidly.
She let out a massive growl that shakes the entire forest and an unfamiliar feeling to settle within her gut.
"Presley your okay, " Anna speaks out as she felt herself being lifted off the ground and was carried away.
"I got Presley, I'm here for you both, " Alec calming voice alerted her as her eyes cucumber to darkness.
