"Now let me explain the rules of this Cavalry battle." Midnight said, waving her whip in the air. "There is a time limit of fifteen minutes. Each team is worth the total of its members points and the riders will wear a headband with that number on their foreheads. Teams will try to to grab others headbands until time runs out. Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up, so the more you steal, the harder it'll be to manage them. Most importantly, if your teams headband is stolen, or if your team fails, you're not out of the game!"
"There are 40 people who passed, which means there will be at least 10 teams running around." Rin mumbled.
Things are gonna get messy really fast.
"During the game, it'll be a cruel fight where you can use your quirk." Midnight said. "But it is still a Cavalry battle. You'll get a red card for attacks that try to make other people fall on purpose! You'll be removed immediately!"
"Damn it." Bakugo cursed.
"Now, you have fifteen minutes to build your teams. Start!"
Great, here comes the masses. Quick, pretend you don't speak Japanese!
The girl who held second place was swarmed with people asking her to be on their team. Through the crowd she noticed her green haired friend wasn't as popular. It looked like he tried to get Ojiro, but was rejected by the blonde who was awkwardly scooting away.
No, we are not taking pity on him.
The girl ignored Venom and politely rejected the requests and made her way towards Midoriya.
She lightly tapped his shoulder to get his attention, "I'll be on your team Izuku."
His eyes turned into geysers which startled his friend. "Rin! Are you sure!? Everyone will be after me because of my ten million points."
Uraraka joined the conversation, "Deku, Kaibutsu! Let's be a team!" More tears made their way out of Midoriya's eyes.
"Let's talk strategy." Rin said to her teammates. "Everyone will be coming after us. If we simply play keep away then we can get into the finals."
You're torturing me. I wanna kick some ass!
"I think you are either overestimating me or underestimating everyone else here." Midoriya said softly.
"No way!" The two girls exclaimed at the same time.
"Anyway, it's better to team up with
who you get along with!" Uraraka said with a smile.
Rin hummed in agreement. "Also, you two seen so determined that you're willing to fight to the end." The duel haired girl said, filled with determination.

Midoriya had a weird face and a small hint of pink in his cheeks.
"Are you okay, what's with that ugly face?" Uraraka commented.
"N-nothing...It's just that you two are so bright that I can't look at either of you." The grass haired boy said while rubbing his leaky eyes. "Actually I wanted to team up with both of you, so thanks."
"Since we all get along, there shouldn't be any issues with communication." Uraraka said.
"I've figured out a plan, we just need one more person." Midoriya scanned the crowed then stoped when he found who he was looking for. Midoriya and Uraraka ran up to him while the other girl calmly walked to their side. "Iida!"
All four people got into a group huddle then Midoriya started explaining his plan. "The three of us could be horses with Iida in the front. Rin, you will be the rider. Your quirk is much better suited for combat than any of ours. Uraraka will make Iida and me lighter, that way we can maneuver easily."
Hehe, we're topping.
"I see." Uraraka said. Rin noticed something was wrong with Iida, he wasn't talking as much as he normally would.
"Iida...You already have a team don't you." All three of them looked at the girl then Midoriya and Uraraka looked at Iida to see his reaction.
"I expected no less, Midoriya, Kaibutsu..." Iida said. "Ever since the entrance exam, I just kept loosing to you. You are wonderfull friends, but that's why if I just keep following you, I will never grow. Bakugo and Todoroki have challenged you already, but they aren't the only ones who see you as a rival." Iida turned his back to the three students and walked towards Todoroki's group. "Midoriya I will try my best to defeat you."
Wait, I thought he was talking to us. DOES HE THINK WE'RE NOT STRONG ENOUGH!?!
Midoriya and Uraraka were shocked at this sudden turn of event. Rin noticed the tense air and tried to lighten things up.
"Damn, things are getting intense... and I thought Thanksgiving was stressful." The dual haired girl earned a small giggle from Uraraka while Midoriya gave her a smile. "I have an idea." She looked around the crowd and spotted who she was looking for. "I'll be right back."
After walking towards him she asked, "Tokoyami! Do you have a team?"
The bird boy turned towards her with his arms folded over his chest. "No I don't have a team yet."
"Perfect, do you wanna join mine?" She held out her hand waiting for him to accept. The boy didn't say anything and grabbed onto her stretched out hand. Once he did, she ran towards the students waiting for her, still holding onto Tokoyami's hand.

The timer went off and Rin covered her ears from the sound it made, not enough to make her scream bloody murder, but it still made her irritated.
"Now then, it's about time we get started!" Midnight said while stretching her arms.
"After 15 minutes to form teams and talk strategy, 12 cavalry teams are ready to go head to head!" Mic shouted over the intercoms.
"You guys ready?" Rin asked her team mates. They all hummed a yes. Uraraka was the left wing, Midoriya was the right wing and Tokoyami was the front, while Rin was the rider. Their headband total was 10,000,510. "Alright then, let's do our best!"
"Let's start the final countdown!" President Mic shouted.
"Three!"
"Two!"
"One!"
"Begin!" Midnight declared.
As soon as it started everyone went for the one mill. "An attack without delay huh." Tokoyami said. "What's your call Kaibutsu?"
"Simple, let's start running." The girl on top said while still watching the other teams.
"I won't let you!" An unfamiliar voice shouted then the ground turned soft and the team was sinking.
"What's happening?" Uraraka asked.
"It's gotta be the other teams quirk, Uraraka, use your quirk on Tokoyami and Midoriya! I can handle the others." The dual haired girl grew four tendrils out of her back and play fed them into the ground. Using them to launch out of the ground and walk around like a giant spider.
Watch out!
"Tokoyami!" The girl on top turned her head around and saw Jiro's earphones coming right at them.
"On it." Dark Shadow blocked them. "Keep watching our blind spots Dark Shadow."
"Got it." The creature responded.
"I'm gonna ground us so be prepared." The dual haired girl then started retreating her tendrils and when close enough to to the ground her team started running. "Thanks for the help Uraraka, you did great. Let's keep this up."
"Wow! Barely two minutes have passed and it's already a total free for all! Watch those headbands! You can even ignore the ten million and go after the other chart toppers!" Mic commented.
Shoji's coming right for us...Wait where's his team?
"Shoji's behind us." They all looked to see Shoji alone with his arms guarding his back. They all heard Mineta cackling but they couldn't tell where it was coming from. Rin noticed Tetsutetsu's team running at them from the other direction. "We need to keep moving, we can't be caught between two teams."
"I can't move!" Uraraka exclaimed. She moved her foot to reveal one of Mineta's balls stuck to her foot.
"Wait where did it come from?" She whipped her head around.
"Right over here...Hi, Kaibutsu~" Mineta was hidden between Shojis arms and was peeking his head out.
"Is that even allowed?" Midoriya asked.
"Judges say yes!" Midnight replied.
Duck.
Her head was forcefully pulled down to dodge a long tongue that came from between Shoji's arms.
"I wouldn't expect anything less, Kaibutsu." Tsu said while poking her head out.
"So Tsu is in there too." Rin analyzed, quickly after the team was bombarded with Minetas head grapes flying at them and Tsu's tongue trying to grab the headband.
"Team Mineta's taking advantage of how compact their members are! They're like a tank!"
"Sorry Uraraka, but we gotta ditch the shoe if we wanna get out of here with the headband." The brunette wasted no time and took off her stuck shoe, then using her quirk to make the team float. Rin used two tendrils and hit the ground causing them to be launched into the air. The other teams looked pissed that they kept slipping through the their fingers.
Living bomb on your six, or seven? Fucking, BEHIND US!!!
When her head spun around she could indeed see Bakugo catching up to them. And without his team.
"Don't get cocky, damn it!" He cursed
His attack with a inky shield and she gave the blonde an amused smile. "I could say the same." He started falling back down until Sero's tape brought him back to his group.
"WHOA!!! Bakugo was separated from his horses! Is that allowed!?"
"He never touched the ground so technically, it's okay." Midnight gave a thumbs up.
"It's been seven minutes so let's take a look at each teams points, let's get those ranking pulled up on the screen. What an unexpected turn...Other than team Kaibutsu, class 1-A isn't doing so hot."
Monoma just stole Bakugo's headband.
"Goodbye rival, it was nice knowing ya." Rin whispered with a small chuckle. Whatever Monoma said looked like it ticked Bakugo off. She had seen him mad before, but now he was pissed and looked like he was out for blood.
Tokoyami came to a halt. Rin was confused until she saw a really good reason standing in front of them. Todoroki was staring right into Rin's soul as she gladly returned the stare.
"As we enter the second half of the game, who will win the ten million points!"
"I guess it was foolish to think we could run forever." Rin hardened her glare at his heterochromatic eyes.
"I'll be taking your headband now." Todoroki bluntly said.

Deku: Mineta, what's wrong?
Trash: *stops* *pants* I was flirting with author, it's seemed like she didn't care for a while but then she broke down crying! I need your help!!!

Trash: Because, I'm too scared to ask and you're one of her favorites.
Deku: Alright where is she? *starts walking to her room*
Trash: In there. *points to her bedroom door*
Deku: *Opens the door* Hey author, what's wrong?
A: *Crying into a pillow* *looks up* I remembered murder is illegal! *Crying intensifies*
