400 years later...

*Beep. Beep* The alarm clock buzzed, and a gray furred paw reached out to hit snooze.

"Oi, five more minutes.." he mumbled.

Tori stood over her son, curled up in his bed. She couldn't believe that he was already 401 years old. To a pooka, 400 years is roughly 19 human years, and Tori herself was centuries old; 37 translated into human years.

"Bunny...Bunnymund, sweetie. Time to get up." She shook him gently.

"C'mon Mom, gimme a few more minutes.." Bunnymund flipped onto his belly and covered his head with his pillow.

Tori sighed. "Fine. Only a few more minutes, though. I'll be downstairs making breakfast." His mother exited the room, and after a few moments, Bunnymund dragged himself out of bed. He splashed some water on his face, slipped on his wrist and ankle sheaths, as well as his leather sash, and looked in the mirror at himself.

Hey, mate, how ya doin? He thought to himself. He brushed the fur on top of his head, and jogged downstairs to breakfast. The aroma of carrot muffins filled the air, and Bunny sat at the table to eat. As he wolfed down his muffin, he noticed that the house was looking neater than usual, and that a beautiful tablecloth covered the oak table.

"Hey Mom, why is tha place all fancied up?" Bunny asked through a mouthful of muffin. Tori looked over at him, suprised.

"Bunnymund, did you forget? It's our turn to host the guardian breakfast." Even though Tori was no longer a guardian, she was still very close with her old group, especially North.

Bunny nearly choked on his muffin. "Whadda ya mean they're comin?!" His face went white. "Frostbite doesn't know that I live with you, he's gonna nark on me so much for this!"

Tori crossed her arms. "So you're ashamed of me." She smirked at her son. There were only about 30 surviving pookas who lived in the warren, so naturally Tori lived with her son. Being a "teenage" pooka, Bunnymund thought it was "embarrasing" for him to live with his one surviving relative.

Before Bunny could respond, a loud jingling filled the air.

"Ho, Prancer! Slow down! Dasher and Vixen and whatever-your name is! Why are you always not listening?" A crash sounded from outside. A few moments later the door burst open, and in sauntered "Santa"- Nicholas St. North himself.

"Bunny! Is great to see you! You too, Tori! What has it been? Weeks? Months?" He gave Tori a hug. The two of them went way back.

"Doin fine, how about yourself?" asked Bunny.

"Very well! I'm thinking about getting new animal to pull sleigh," North said in his Russian accent, "Reindeer are not cooperating."

A buzzing of wings filled the air, and in flew Tooth, followed by four of her fairies. Sandy soon followed, bringing a trail of dreamsand with him.

"Bunny! Tori! How are you? How are your teeth? Are you flossing?" Tooth flew over to inspect Bunny's mouth.

"Tooth! Hands out of mouth!" North called from the other end of the kitchen, where he was snacking on a muffin.

"Tooth! We're so glad you could make it," smiled Tori. While they were talking, Baby Tooth flew over to Bunnymund and stole a piece of his muffin.

"Hey! Rack off!" Baby tooth giggled. Her attention was diverted from Bunny, however, when the air turned cold and a certain frosty-haired spirit sauntered into the room. He looked around Bunnymund's home; he had never been inside. Tori had her back turned, and mistaking her for Bunnymund, he walked over to her.

"Why, if it isn't the Easter Kangaroo. Did you dye your fur blonde? Tryin to start a new trend? I have to say, it's a great look!" Jack jabbed Tori in the back with his staff, and she turned around, suprised.

"Wait a second, you're not Bunny..!" Jack looked confused. "Kangaroo! There's an imposter in your house!" He turned to Tori. "Are you his girlfriend?" From the other side of the room, the other three guardians burst into laughter.

Tori chuckled. "Of course not, dear. I'm his mother, Tori."

Bunnymund put his head in his hands. "Ohh boy." It could only go downhill from here.

Jack looked suprised. "You don't say..." he turned to Bunnymund. "Bunny! There are more of you?"

Bunnymund grimaced. "Yeah, mate, about 30 of us live down here in the warren. The others were wiped out by Pitch."

"Why, You never told me you had a mother!" Jack's face lit up in a mischivious grin. The spirit liked taking any oppurtunity to embarrass his furry rival.

"It's great to meet you, Mrs. Tori. So, what was Bunnymund like as a kid? Was he cute? Was he really annoying?" Jack's eyes lit up. "Do you have any pictures?"

"Rack off, Jack!" Bunny groaned.

"Bunnymund! Be polite. Jack is our guest," Tori scolded her son. Bunny slumped in his seat.

"Well, Jack, a a matter of fact, I used to be a guardian."

"Really?"

"Yes, along with them," she pointed to North (who was stuffing his face with muffins), Tooth (who was busy with her faries figuring out where to pick up teeth), and Sandy (who was trying to keep one of Norht's stowaway elves out of his drink.)

"So, they all knew Bunny when he was a baby?" Jack raised his eyebrows and grinned.

"Yes. And you're about 300 years old, right?"

"317."

"So Bunny is only about 100 years older than you!" Jack's eyes lit up. He couldn't wait to bother Bunny about being the same age. As Tori answered Jack's questions, Bunny reached for another muffin. Frostbite was gonna give him so much greif about this later.

"Oi."

This was going to be a long morning.
