🎶 Brief bio:
I'm CJ, a junior in high school. I spend my free time reading, writing, and occasionally singing acapella covers for friends through Discord.
🎶 What does Music mean to you?
Music is my life. I grew up in a house of music. Not a day went by where my sister wasn't practicing cello or piano. I began piano in second grade and ever since then, music has been my comfort for anything that goes wrong. There's just something about a good song that makes your problems vanish temporarily.
🎶 What do you love about performing?
I love being able to tell myself that I have more confidence than I think I do, that I am better than what I give myself credit for.
🎶 What inspires you when it comes to music?
Those brave enough to try and make a career from music. It's one of the hardest things out there, but they do it and they make it, even if it is just through videos on YouTube.
🎶 Who/What are your major artistic influences?
These two cover artists on YouTube, Jonathan Young and Caleb Hyles. They both are such good singers and any song they sing sounds like the original but also has their style in it.
