"why is cynthia walking up to us" taylor asks
i look behind and look back to my locker rolling my eyes . i soon feel a tap on my shoulder. i turn around slowly
"yes cynthia" i said with a fake smile
"i know we're not friends anymore but girl code is still a thing. you can't be with mattia"
"bitch she'll do what she wants" taylor says
"no one was talking to you. mind your fucking business" cynthia says
taylor tried to charge at cynthia but i stopped her

without thinking i punched her in her face. she quickly got up and laughed

i went up to my backpack and picked it up as if nothing happened. i look around and see everyone staring.

i walk away from everyone and headed to the office

"you saw what happened" robert asks

we all nodded and circled around him. he started the video and it was a y/n and cynthia fighting. the last thing she said before the fight ended was "this is for cheating on my bestfriend" .
"i think they fought over you" the dude says to me before walking away

"i promise you i do not start these fights" i say
"why'd you guys start fighting in the first place"

he cuts me off "y/n you guys are fighting over mattia polibio?" he says laughing "what's so special about that kid"
"i- no i was not fighting over him." i defend "i was fighting over what she said"
"i heard mattia's name so many times coming out of so many girl's mouths and i did not expect to see you" he laughs harder
"mr. brown i was not fighting over him" i cross my arms and scoff
"detention for a week y/n" he says STILL laughing
i grab the paper and got up
"you know i would call and tell your wife that you're making fun of me for a boy" i said before walking out

"okay cynthia your turn" i hear him say as i walk out
i get into my class room and everyone stares at me. i walk to the teacher and give her the note
