chapter 15

it's saturday morning

i woke up and walked downstairs and see everyone's still sleeping.

"what the fuck? it's 2 in the afternoon, why are you guys still sleepinggg" i say shaking kairi

"lemme sleeppppp" kairi says turning the other way

"no wake up i'm bored" i say taking the blanket off of him

"no i'm tired" he says putting it back on

"kairi." i say crossing my arms. "you know what. never mind . i didn't wanna hang out with you anyways lame ass"

i walk upstairs bored as fuck and laid down on my bed. i grabbed my phone and went on tik tok. an hour passed and i didn't even noticed i was on tik tok for a long time. my door opens

"hey" taylor says walking in weirdly

"what's wrong? that hey was kinda off" i say sitting up

"i think i just fucked everything up with josh." she says on the verge of tears

"what. how? here come sit" i say

she sits down and looks down playing with her fingers

"what happened?" i ask her

"well we were talking in the kitchen while cooking food for everyone and his hand touched mine and i stopped doing what i was doing and i looked at him. he looked at me and asked "what" . i didn't say anything, i just kissed him. i realized he's in a relationship and i pulled away and now i'm here" she says quickly while tears fall down

"i know josh is my brother but he's really stupid if he can't see how amazing you are. you're the only girl who could actually deal with his shit taylor, if he doesn't see that then he's stupid. you're an amazing independent woman. you don't need a man. especially if it's my brother" i tell her laughing

"thank you y/n." she says laughing. "i'm just dumb for thinking i had a chance"

"no you're not. he's dumb for realizing what he missed out on" i say throwing a pillow on top of her

it was quiet for a little

"how are you and mattia?" she asks

"i don't know tbh. he's still with jenna which is kinda surprising and he's going with her on a dumbass family trip." i say falling back on my bed

"maybeee when jenna fucks up, you can pull a move or something" she says hitting my leg

"they're going on a family trip together taylor. i'm pretty sure their relationship is serious" i say while playing with my fingers. "and plus even if she did fuck up, he's in love with her for whatever dumb reason" i tell her while sitting up and running my fingers in my hair.

"you can change that you know" taylor tells me "he's always smiling when you're around. i never see him smile that much when he's with jenna"

"not true" i say laughing. "but he does have a very attractive and contagious smile" i say smiling at the thought of him

"who does?" mattia says walking in

"no one and ever heard of knocking polibio?" i said looking up at him

"nah" he says jumping on my bed and sighs.

"what's wrong with you?" taylor asks

"i'm stuck in a 6 hour car ride with jenna AND her parents." he says complaining

"what's wrong with her parents?" i ask

"they talk too much. like they never shut up." mattia answers

"ahhh i see where jenna gets it from" i say laughing

"dumb bitch 😭😭" taylor laughs along with me

"shut up. you haven't even gotten your first kiss" he says throwing a pillow at me

"hey that has nothing to do with what we're talking about ass face" i throw the pillow back and he just laughs. "and fyi that is none of your business"

he laughs. "you never wondered what it's like to kiss someone?" he asks

i've wondered how it would feel if i were to kiss you.

"kinda. but i want it to be special you know?" i say laying down beside him.

"hey i gotta go. my mom wants me" taylor says. "byeee i'll see you guys later" she says walking out

we say bye to her as she heads out

"how would you want your first kiss to go?" mattia asks

"well i want it to be with someone i feel that special connection with. i can't have my first kiss and then me not feel something after that kiss if that makes sense" i said "i just wanna be with a guy who understands me"

"i felt that way with jenna" he answers back

"felt?" i say

"it doesn't feel the same. i still love her but not as strong as i did when i first met her" he says

"so why are you still with her?" i ask

"i needed to get my mind off this other girl. i know it's a bad thing to do but i needed to move on from her" he answers

hm she's one lucky girl to have mattia polibio be crazy about her

"i can't say to get over that mystery girl but you know if you feel like the time is right, break things off with jenna. shoot your shot with mystery girl. any girl is lucky to have you mattia" i tell him

it hurt telling him to go for the other girl but it is what it is i guess.

"thank you for this dummy" he says laughing and getting up from my bed. " i gotta go pack for this stupid trip"

" anytime dino" i say laughing and hugging him goodbye "have fun and safe travels tomorrow"

he hugs back and nods his head and exits my room.

i jump on my bed and start to think about the talk with mattia. god i was stupid to believe i actually had a chance. like it's mattia polibio. he's wayyy outta my league. i fall asleep with the thoughts of mattia on my mind.
