Otar started to wake up to find himself sleeping on a cold floor ."UAAaah what's goin on....this is not my house.
Otar sees Jamie and Amethyst on the opposite end of the room. He recoogised that they were in a holding cell similar to that of which Steven and CG's were trapped in years ago.
Otar: What happened? Why are we here? The belt should've sent us back.
Jamie: Well we are here now either way.
Otar: Not for long. One moment. He looks for his belt but couldn't find it* wait where is that belt?!
Amethyst: Weeell we just had to appear right in front of the entire courts, they took it because of that sand circle in it.
Otar: The horglass?... He sighs, this will take sometime. We'll have to stay here for a while unfortunately until we get the belt back....Jamie are you listening?
Jamie turned to him "What? Uuh Sorry I got distracted.
Otar: Ouh well take your time I guess...wait a minute I remember that Gem technology isn't made with humans in mind. Maybe we can pass here and open it for Amethyst?
The two pondered on that with Amethyst metioning that Steven did get through the shield once on Jasper's ship.
Jamie: Ohkay easy does it. *touches the field and began twitching* Wwwoooowwww iiiit suuuureely tingleeeesssss
Amethyst : Hehe yeah really though d oyou see anything to drop this wall?
Jamie looked around to see a control panel, he tried to figure it out but he wasn't good at gem language. He did find a lever though and was about to pull but was stopped in his tracks when a voice came in
Ruby: Hold it right there human!
He turned to see a ruby guard dressed in red and brown outfit and a pearl with red white hair with white and pink dress on her.
Pink Pearl: You are not allowed to leave your cell until you are taken back to our Diamond's zoo.
Jamie: I...am sorry but I refuse *pulls the lever*
The shield is down and Amethyst and Otar exited their cell and Ruby ran at them bt Otar grabbed her head and lifted her up
Pearl was about to run for help when Jamie called out "Wait we won't hurt you please"
Amethyst: Yeah let's just talk this out
Otarlet go of the ruby guard who took steps back to Pearl as Two gems looked at the trio and then at each other "Do you think we can trust them Pearl?"
PP: Well they don't seem aggressive and now that I think about it. If we call Morganite now she will assume that we let them out"
Ruby: ouh no we may get shattered if the word goes to our diamond
The two slowly gave their answer "We...we agree to not report this to others but you will have to stay in your cell please'
The trio looked at one another reluctantly Otar sighs "Okay but can you tell us where is that belt?
The two were confused "What is a belt?
A footsteps were heard coming loud
PP: It's MOrganite! PLEASE GO BACK INTO THE CELL!
Trio hesitated before the trio entered the cell and he pulled the lever down, went through the field and so they waited for "Morgonite" to arrive with a few of Citrine guards. Jamie felt strange at the sight of Citrines due to his experience with one of them months ago....or in several years in the future if this is even their world
Morgonite took a look at the prisoners then at her pearl
Morgonite: Did anything happen while you were here?
PP: Nothing significant my MOrgonite.
Morgonite didn't seem to believe that but brushed it off since she had little time or care for this little matter.
Morgonite: Pearl you adn the ruby guards are to watch these humans and an amethyst until I finish my work and we get to homeworld. We will discipline the defective amethyst later.
Amethyst flinched at that as a tear threatened to come out
Jamie watned to say soemthing but Otar waved his ahnd not to attract more attention
Pearl: Y-yes my MOrgonite.
Morgonite smiled "very well don't fail me or else...'
Pearl looked dow as Morgonite and her Citrines made their way out of their sight
Ruby: That cracking meany....
Amethyst: Can't believe we are stuck here now... again in a time when word "defective" makes some any improtance.
Pink Pearl thought sadly 'And when it didn't?' she hated being like this, she waited to show her feelings to everyone and not just be a pppet slave to MOrgonite.
Jamie: hey you two come and sit here
Two looked at him "Why? What would it do?"
Jamie: Well talk about your problems is better than just stand and do nothing.
Ruby: Well we are to watch them...
Jamie: Great! Now listen we will tell you how we got here but know that it's true.
The two sat down to listen for their story
MOrgonit made herway to Peridots to report their progress so far
Morgoite: Did you find anything useful on that thing?
Peridot: We did managed to find an hourgalss still working in it but we are still unable to initiate it's working process. It appears that it's surrounded by a strange force field preventing from using it. It wold take some time to figre it out.
Morgonite: It doesn't matter how long it takes. It'll all be worth it when the diamonds learn of this discovery.
Peridot: The ability to travel worlds and cross time will be a great asset for the empire
Morgonite: Indeed now get to work and finish it no matter the cost!
Ruby: YOU WHAT?!
PP: That's just not possible, the hourglass artifacts were lost to the empire eons ago...
Jamie: Well there were some in our time on the planet earth
PP: Our diamonds' first colony?
Otar: Wait Pink Diamond is your leader?!
Ame: No way!!
Ruby : How do you know all of this?
Jamie : Listen we need to get that hourglass and get back home
Otar: Yeahh especially before it is transported away to the diamonds. If they learn how to control the horglass there is no telling what kind of catastrophe comes out of it.
Pearl: You can't do that now unfortunately the hourglass is secured in the peridots' laboratory.
He sighs, "Okay I guess we'll have to stay here for a while. I will sleep if you don't mind" sits in the corner to rest
Amethyst said 'well at least we'll have time to get to know each other"
Jamie: Yeah by the way it's your turn now to tell the story.
Ruby: Ow ow let me! So...we met once on homeworld bc our morgonite needed to finish some stupid business...
Ame: And you hit it off right away huh?
PP: Language!
Ruby: Anyways we grew close to each other and talked often...
Days passed as the gang grew closer to the new gems
Amethyst was telling them about Rose Quartz and the cause of their rebellion, the earth, the crystal gems adn their independance.
Otar was explaining the concept of time travel adn dimensions. Frankly Ruby was amazed and confused that she was possibly one version of her many other selves out there
But they grew most attached to Jame who taught them about earthly culture, poetry and songs. He even taght them how to sing for themselves if they ever need any distraction in dire situations.
His one song was particularly interesting for them to hear:

He and his friends also encouraged them that it didn't matter what Morgonite thinks of them,
That they can live their own lifes.
At some point ruby had been called to battle and didn't me back soon
Pearl was beginning to worry, her hands shaking not sure what to do
Jamie : Pearl calm down...
Pearl: How? I don't know if she's okay or...
Jamie : Pearl, ruby will be fine. We both know she's a tough one to break
Pearl: How can you be so calm...fascinating no wonder my diamond likes you so much. I am just a pearl, one of millions, expendable...sometimes I don't know what she saw in me.
Jamie: Listen just becasue you don't undestand some things doesn't mean you can't learn. You're a brilliant person with mch potential and really care for us and Ruby, she knows this and we know it too. So please don't say you are undeserving...
Pearl was silent as the tears came down "You really mean it?"
Jamie: We are friends after all. What are friends for?
Pearl smiled as she stood up to deactivate the shield.
Ame and Otar suddenly woke up "What?!"
PP: Come on we need to get that horglass back
Ame ut what about Morganite?
Pearl: ...you...me and ruby can come with you to your world! We can both be free there!
Ruby: What?
Pearl and others turned to see Ruby newly arrived in her new form
Pearl: Ouh ruby what happened to you?
Ruby: I got injured in battle and reformed. Pearl if this is true then I will come with you guys anywhere you go!
Otar: Of course that would work. Okay then listen everyone we need to be careful and quite so as to not get caught.We'll wait until we reach homeworld and then we will act.
On homeworld - Hours later
Ame : Careful huh?
Otar: hey I'm not all knowing all the time you know!
Jamie: Whatever the case we need to get to the balcony. Pearl and Ruby are there waiting us!
The trio ran as fast as they could hiding in corners to not be seen by now alarmed gem soldiers coming their way
Ruby; Ugh they had to set up the alarm! We risked bumping into Morgonite on the way here nearly
Pearl : We just have to wait until they come here
It was silent for a while, Pearl is holding Ruby's gloves as to comfort her 'friend" though she looks super worried herself, they did sneak off into the balcony but they are easily spot so they had to hurry.
Ruby: Pearl everything will be oaky right?
Pearl:...*smiles* Of course it will be. I'm sure of that
Ruby and Pearl looked at each other in the eyes as they then"accidentally" fuse
Fusion :wHA?! What is this? What am I?
Ame: You!?
The fusion turned to see the trio finally arriving at the balcony
The fusion has a somewhat muscular build that resembles Garnet's, with pink skin and a long pointed nose that is slightly turned upward. She has wide, black, afro-style hair with mauve highlights.
Jamie slowly approached the fusion with it somewhat worryig when he touched her by the cheek. He looked at her excited to see his student
Jamie: Rhodonite! I'm so glad to see you!
Jamie hugs the fusion as she blushed from the feeling she doesn't understand, becoming undone and then their Morganite just HAPPENS to walk in and is like hey!! No!!
Otar: EVERYONE JUMP NOW!!!!
Otar, Jamie and Amethyst jump And Ruby and Pearl two panic and jump off the balcony down with them, down down to the ruins and ended up staying fused until they meet a familiarly cute little gem who can predict the past.
Otar: WOW that certainly was quite extreme
Padparadascha : I predict a human will claim to be dangerous
Ame: HAHAH
Flourite: Whaaaat an interestiiiiiing guestttttt
Rutile twins: You are really jumped from that high?
Ame: I'm surprised we even made it!
Jamie : Incredible so this is the past of our world. At least we are sure when we are.
Otar: Truly luckily we got the belt we can get out of here. But before that I will go see if there are anymore gems around, Amethyst you look for Padparadasha. Jamie you and uhm....wait where is Rhodonite?
Jamie looks for her and sees Ruby and Pearl by the close colonised wall sitting and talking "I'll talk to them so you can go"
R: Errrr Pearl?
Ruby looked away for a moment "I don't like to see you like that
Pearl: Ruby.....you know when we merged in front of Morgonite and Jamie it was very strange.
R: I kind of liked it and I feel like Jamie and those two did too
Pearl: But now we are here...trapped in this huge kindergarten.
Ruby: I know it was... my fault
Pearl on't say that ruby it's not your fault
R: I shouldn't have hugged you...
Jamie : No.
Pearl:...Jamie. I'm sorry it had gone like this...
Ruby: We should've thought it through...
Jamie; And we did thought it through but there will always be mistakes made. And honestly I'm proud of you two very much
The two smiled and hugged Jamie "Thank you Jamie for telling us all of this"
Ruby : For being our friend.
Jamie: It'll be okay you two. We'll meet one day in the future I promise that. Just wait for a few hundred years
Pearl and Ruby nodded as they then fused
Rhodonite: Be well Jamie
Pad: "I PREDICT THAT RUBY AND PEARL ARE GONNA FUSE!"
The trio then pushed on the belt as it shined once again and they were out of sight, unknown to who knows where
The future off-colors contined to live in the homeworld ruins until finally their captain arrived years later to take them into a new era
