NINA'S POV
I woke up from my sleep, I waited for Renee come to help me. When I suddenly remembered what Stephen told about Nathan, having feelings for me, only if it is true or maybe it is true we kissed at the hospital. Thinking about that made my cheeks heat up. I heard the door, being opened.
"Nina, good morning" I heard a familiar voice of Dad.
"Good Morning Dad," I said.
" Renee, will be here, I just came to check up on you once" He said.
" I am fine," I said, knowing that he was worried about me.
" Yes. Renee is here, I will take you leave now " said Dad.
" Ok, " I said.
I heard the door being closed and Renee helped me towards the door of the bathroom, as this room was not familiar to me, she showed me where the bathroom essentials are kept. It took me a while to adjust and then I took a quick shower. Back in my place there was no one to help me to get ready, as my parents never helped me, I started to understand everything and help myself.
Once, I was done and put on my clothes which were kept near the shower place.
" Renee, I am done" I called her.
" Ok, I am opening " I hear her say.
She helped me towards the bed.
"Should I bring your breakfast?" she asked.
" No, I would like to have it with others" I said, as I was feeling better, she helped me outside.
I heard Julian's and Dad's voice, as the voice became clearer, I knew that I had reached the dining room.
" Good Morning Sil" I heard Julian's voice.
" Good Morning" I said, when I felt a hand on my right hand.
" I will help you " said Julian, helping me towards the chair.
" Nina, you could have stayed inside and rested" said Dad.
" I wanted to be here with all of you," I said.
" What a lovely day" I heard a familiar voice of Stephen. What was he doing here and that also so early? I questioned myself.
" Morning Stephen, where is Haley?" I heard Julian ask.
" She is helping Mum with breakfast so she couldn't come" I heard Stephen say, and felt someone sitting next to me.
" Morning Nia"I heard him say.
" Morning Stephen" I said.
We continued to chat with Stephen cracking jokes in between, but my mind was not focused to his talks. I was waiting for Nathan to come. This first time he was ever late for breakfast. I hope he is feeling good.
" What is he doing here?" I heard a familiar voice of Nathan ask with anger in his tone.
" Nathan, this not the way to greet our guest" said Dad.
"Whatever, he is your guest not mine," said Nathan again in a rude tone. Was the Nathan, I knew earlier was back, the one who hurt me with words. I started getting scared, but he was fine yesterday than what happened suddenly. I started playing with my fingers, when I felt someone hand on my fingers indicating me to stop. I knew who it was.
"Good Morning Nina" He said and sat besides me. This was the first time he greeted me, I felt my heartbeat increase.
"Good Morning" I said.
"Good Morning, Nathan, I know you don't like my presence but don't forget that I am helping you with your mess. And the reason I came here early morning was to let you know that whatever we planned we have to do it in a couple of days because James is leaving for 2 months to some country as he got a client from there." said Stephen with an angry tone.
" What!" I exclaimed, knowing that we have to meet him in coming days.
" And one more thing, I remembered with the coming of Cara in your house expect me to come daily" said Stephen.
"Why,"said Nathan in an annoyed tone.
" Because Mr. Hasting, if I and Nina tell James that we love each other and I never visit Nina won't it be suspicious to Cara." said Stephen.
" Exactly, so when are you planning to meet James?" asked Julian. I never planned any date to meet him in specific. What should I say?
" We are meeting him today. I called him for an appointment and we got it." said Stephen.
" That's great at what time?" asked Julian.
" Around 12, I will pick Nia up around 11:30" said Stephen.
" Ok, " I said, trying to act strong as I was scared a bit.
" Ok, then Thank you for the breakfast," said Stephen. And I felt him standing up.
"You are always welcome," said Dad.
Half an hour later
I was getting ready for the appointment with Renee besides me. When I heard the door knock.
" Can I come in?" I heard Nathan voice ask.
" Yes," I said. The door of the room made a noise of opening and closing.
" Nina, I will leave you both alone," said Renee.
I waited for him to say something, but I heard nothing.
" Nathan," I said, waiting for his response.
" I am scared Nina" He said in a vulnerable tone. I had never come across such a tone from him and being scared for the first time.
" Don't worry Nathan, everything will go as planned." I said, being strong.
" I am not talking about the plan" He said. Then what was he scared of was it losing Cara and James?
" Is It" I said, but was cut off by Nathan.
" I am scared of losing you." said Nathan, which took me by surprise.
" Nathan, I am not going anywhere" I said.
"But what if you fall for Stephen during this period and leave me" He said. And that same time I felt his head on my lap. I caressed his face to feel tear drops. He was crying. Does this mean he is scared of losing me. I was speechless.
" I am scared that you will love him again and then you will leave" He said.
" Nathan, the feelings is not going to come back." I said, and then I felt a pair of lips on mine. He was kissing me, it was a soft and gentle kiss at first, but later it turned into harsh one, I felt his hand on my waist and pulling me closer to him, I let out a moan and I felt his tongue entering my mouth. After a few minutes we pulled away.
" Please don't leave me" He said again and pecked me last time.
" I won't," I said, blushing and still not believing what just had happened.
We heard a knock on the door.
" Who is it?' asked Nathan.
" It's me, Julian. Stephen has arrived" I heard Julian say.
" Ok, we will be there," said Nathan. I stood up from the chair.
" I will help you" He said, to which I blushed.
We went outside.
" Finally, let's go" I heard Stephen voice, and I was pulled by someone.
" Stephen, there is no need to pull her, she just came from the hospital, she still needs to heal" I heard Nathan say, to which I blushed.
"I forgot, are you fine Ni?" asked Stephen, to which I nodded.
Stephen helped me in his car and helped me in putting the seatbelt on.
" So, are you ready ?" He asked.
" Yes" I said.
" So I have decided what story we are going to say regarding of love story" said Stephen and started explaining, but my mind shifted to the kiss me and Nathan shared.
" Ni, you are blushing my story was not that good so, what happened?" asked Stephen.
" He kissed me," I said, blushing hard.
" Oh My God, that's an amazing news. I am so happy," said Stephen.
"Thank you, I guess" I said.
He continued to tease me and after sometime we reached the destination. Stephen lead me inside the building. He talked with the receptionist about the appointment, while I just waited for him to finish. After a while we went to James office and our plan had officially started.
" Welcome Nina and Stephen" I heard James say.
