Luz and (Y/N) were sleeping peacefully, as the wind blew through their hairs.. the window creaking.. Its seems the everything was Doing okay
Luz was moving around, she seemed having trouble sleeping
Luz's POV
I remember Me and (Y/N) chasing after the little owl that stole my Azura book... then.. the Part where Eda showed us the Owl house.. and the Time where Me and(Y/N) were flying up with Eda using her magic stick..
I opened my Eyes as I gasped, sitting up as i looked down Seeing king and (Y/N) sleeping peacefully. Then around "It wasn't a dream!" I happily stretched my arms out and got up opening the window
"good morning terrifying fantasy world!" Then I saw one strange looking monster and said good morning to me back, I gagged the started to walk where King and (Y/N) are sleeping
i picked up king as he shot his eye open feeling confused "good morning you little cutie pie~" I gave him some kisses on his face as he yelled "I am NOT your cutie pie!!!!" "yes you are!~"I snuggled him closely to me then putted him down
".. i know" he replied back as i walked over to (Y/N), lift her up as her eyes started to flutter open "good morning!~" I hugged her and snuggled my face onto her shoulders as she rubbed her eyes and patted my back "morning Luz..." she yawned as I let go of her and the two of us got dressed
I opened the bathroom door when suddenly two Owls came out, when everything was now clear I got in, i was looking back when a voice spoke making me stop "Hi Luz!" i screamed then turned around karate chopping hootie's head "Ow!- i'm just wishing you a good morning, Jeez.. Hoot..Ow" he went back to the door as i yelled "sorry Hootie!"
i looked at the Counter where my Azura book was and grabbed it flipping on the page where her face was "this is it old girl! your first day at the boiling Isles with your best friend (Y/N)! as a witch Apprentice!!" i punched the air feeling too excited
I opened a door closing my eyes with my hand "please have witchy clothes!.." I opened my eyes seeing Tons of Magic potions, brooms and clothes and hat " YES YES!"
i went back in the door seeing (Y/N) petting King which was so cute to watch. (Y/N) looked at me then smiled as she noticed the stuffs i was holding "what's that Luz?" she pointed "Witch stuff, here's Some clothes, Hats and a name tag!"
"we could wear it together!" I smiled at her as she chuckled "Luz you go ahead, i'll just wear the Tag" she grabs a marker and wrote her name "aww ok" she patted my head as I wore the Clothes
Readers POV
Luz and I went down to wait for Eda, I glanced over at Luz as she Excitedly squealed. It made me giggle as I felt my face blushing a little, I Stopped as I held my right cheek 'why did I.... blush?..' I started to think but then got cut of when Luz clinged her hands onto mine
we saw Eda's shadow coming straight to us, Eda looked pretty tired as she yawned "hm?.." Luz then spoke "Good morning Eda the Owl Lady! we are ready for our first day of witch apprenticeship!!" She waved at her as I smiled
"ugh.. who are you again?" She said while fixing her hair as spiders came falling down from it. We couldn't believe it as we both started to look at each other with worried eyes
"remember us?.. Luz and (Y/n)" Luz pointed at the two of us as we walked to the dining area, Luz got hit by a Flying mug as I still wonder why Eda doesn't remember us "we freed the oppressed and defeated the evil Warden together, yesterday!." I got Eda's attention as she looked at us
"kids lay off the details, I haven't even had my cup of apple blood yet" I looked at Luz as she started talking "you mean apple.. juice?" "no" Eda sat on the table drinking her 'Apple Blood' while king was kinda trying to eat his food
"teach us some spells" Luz grabs my arm and dragged me with her towards Eda "when do we get a magic staff? were we supposed to bring our own roots?" She gasped when a thought came in her mind "do you have a dangerous quest for us!" she held Eda bye the shoulder "woah woah woah Luz calm down" I moved her away from Eda "slow down kid and thanks Other Kid, being a witch doesn't happen overnight and also your wrapping a bathrobe and wearing the dirtiest traffic cone I've ever seen" She pointed out as I grabbed Luz's hat and blew it "oh it is a.. traffic cone" I nervously laughed 'thank god I didn't wear it or I would be so embarrassed'
King started to laugh "but a magic staff huh? you both really want one?" She asked us as we both of our eyes stared to twinkle "more than anything" we both say
Eda wipes her mouth then called for her magic staff "magic staff come to me" we looked at the door where the staff is supposed to go to Eda. We heard a lot of breaking noises and bumping sounds.. The staff then went whooping to Eda's face "aGH-gish-" She kept her balance as she spun the magic stick then stopped "its early"
"now witches are awarded with their staffs from school, with me as your teacher you'll be taking a different approach" She puts a bag filled with Magic potions down "you both have to work for it" I held the bag "kid change first, you'll look weird wearing that outside" we both stood up as i helped Luz taking it off "haha to be honest that was really funny to watch" "oh shut up" we both started to laugh but then I felt another feeling in my stomach.. more like... butterflies? "something wrong (Y/N)?" Luz asked me as I looked at her and smiled "oh its nothing don't worry I just felt a funny feeling in my stomach" I said "must be starving" "ehh maybe" we shrugged it off as we both went back to Eda
"I run a few businesses, on weekends I offer rare treasures then Albert drags over from your side of the realm" Eda then grabbed a toy sword and turned it on "I shall smite my enemies.. Age's 6 to 11" she then threw the toy to the ground
"but most days I sell only the finest homemade elixirs and potions" Luz grabs a potion from the bag "snake oil.." she reads the name of it "what's with this Snake oil?" I looked at Eda "no one wants an uni-old snake, follow me" we did as she said
we followed her to the balcony "today you both have to deliver packages and sell potions to that town over there" she pointed to the town we went yesterday "Bones burrow" Eda said as i looked at the Town "you both have to be careful, I have rivals everywhere who'd love to take my business down and you both along with it" She puts down the magic staff "you guys wanted a dangerous magical quest? Sisters you got one"
"we won't let you down miss Eda!" Luz says then looked at me with a determined smile then Salutes to Eda "Wait L-luz!" I warned as my hands tremble watching the bag fall down and waiting for it to break CLANK
"I'm sure.." Eda looked at Luz as she smiled nervously while I put a hand on my face. We got back down as Eda pushes us out as I held the bag this time "remember never befriend a man in sandals and always measure twice cut once" Eda then used her magic to closed the door on us "Good luck!" is what we heard
"welp.. guess we better get going?" I turned around to see Luz over hearing Eda's conversation, she then placed her face on the window saying "No we wont" i then saw the curtains fall down "is king going with us?" I asked "yeah" She responded
we saw the door open seeing a frustrated King "be back by night fall or risk mortal peril!" Eda shuts the door as i looked down on king "king wanna ride on my shoulders??" i asked he didn't say anything, so i let one hand down for him to climb as he did "have a nice trip!" hoodie says to us
Luz started to smile as King groaned "lets get this over with" He says "Luz hold the bag carefully this time ok?" I said as i handed her the bag. She grabs the back then held my hand "yeah! i won't let go this time!!" she says making me laugh as we got back to track
the town was full with all different kinds of monsters, some scary looking ones too. "woah" Luz mumbled under her breath as she tighten her squeeze to my hand. We proceed to walk as now King got off of my shoulders and he continued to walk
we looked around, Luz was pretty amazed.. suddenly a wear looking butterfly came between me and Luz making us Gasp "hey its rude to stare" we both stopped walking and looked down at King to see him crossing his arms
"I've only seen places like this in my dreams, It's incredible! and were the only humans here?" she leaned her head back the forward again "I haven't seen any others" He said making our eyes wide a little "wow" I whispered
"their must be a reason for that right?? Why are we here?? What if we Luz Noceda and (Y/N) (L/N), average teens actually had a.." she then gasped "predetermined path of greatness!!!" she puts her hands up waving them. I tried to hold back laughing, its too cute to watch Luz fantasying like in childhood.. haha she never change's
"just..like...Azura!!" she squealed balling her fist "yeah did Azura's path to greatness involve for delivering 'Boil cream'" king held up the Potion "today were delivering packages but tomorrow we'll be earning the respect of everyone on the boiling Isles with our magical prowess!" She held me closer to her our cheeks touching each other
"Luz we can't just get respected by everyone on the boiling Isles right away, we have to earn their trust first" I said "hah! good luck with that, the boiling Isles is nothing but a cesspool of despair!" king said still holding onto the potion
Luz then kneeled down to grab the potion King was holding and puts it back on the bag "more like cesspool of delight!" she puts the bag on top of her shoulder as her open hands had an opportunity to hold my hand without telling me, it made me gasp slightly since I though someone grabbed me
I looked to Luz as she smiled at me then started to search everywhere "aha ha!." she ran as she was holding my hand while King followed. we stopped in front of a half horse half man holding a pumpkin "Luz what are you doing-" i was cut off when Luz started talking to the creature
"what has four hooves and wants to buy a potions? this guy" she then pointed at him as I tried to stop her, we then stopped when we heard a voice "sigh.. my eyes are down here" he puts down the pumpkin as his face revealed on to his chest, Me and Luz were shook as we backed away gasping
Luz rang the doorbell waiting for someone to open the door, Suddenly the doorbell ate all of Luz's hand ad sucked it in. She scream as I immediately grabbed her by the waist trying to pull her out "King help me!" I yelled but he just walked away "King!!" I yelled again as I pulled her with all of my strength, good thing it spitted her hand out so it was all good "your hand it wet! here a towel" I said as I wiped of the doorbells saliva on her arm "thanks.." she mumbled
She then looked at me "oh you also have some dust on your cheeks" she said as she puts her hand on my left cheek and removes the dust with her thumb. I suddenly felt my face blush as I slightly shook my head "thank you too" I grabbed her by the hand as we walked to where king was
King ate some kind of hotdogs but just different, I looked over at Luz to see her pretty upset "i know I had enough delight for one day" King said as he finished his food "that's because you were only talking while we were doing the working! And beside you weren't giving us any advise or other warnings here on the boiling Isles that we dont know about!" I glared at him
"I thought us being the only two humans in a magical world would make us special, but apparently it just makes everyone want scream at us" She paused for a second "ok actually I think mostly me or.." she raises her hand revealing the weird butterfly bitting her skin as I immediately hitted it to fly away "eat me.." she mumbled "don't feel like that Luz" you grabbed a bandage from your sling bag and placed it on her bitted arm
Luz took a deep breath before speaking again "at this point Azura had been already sent on an enchanted quest.. where's our quest granting wizard??" She questioned as we looked at King
"Sorry to break it up to you Luz but no one here had is that dressed well" he rolled his eyes slightly. "It has been a rough day" she stood up and grabbed the bag and placed it up to her shoulders. She then lend a hand for me to grab, I did and stood up
We started to walk on our last delivery place "let's just deliver this last package and go home.." she moved the cloths away as we walked in "maybe this world isn't what I thought it would be-" she then gasped as I looked infront making my lips slightly parts away
It was a huge castle as the sun was shining behind it making it more perfect.. it's pretty suspicious....
"Pretty.." Luz mumbled in satisfaction as she held my hand and squeezed it tightly. We rang the doorbell, it was pretty fancy. The large doors then started to open making us back away a little "big houses always belongs to big whack jobs, let's kick the package inside and get out of here" as me and King turned around we saw Luz just walked inside
I sighed and looked at King "hello?" Luz called for someone inside the castle if their was anyone home "hey wait for us!!" King yelled as we both followed her, the door then suddenly closed making me and King jump as he held onto my leg.. I have a bad feeling about this...
